Nice little corner store that sells poke burritos/bowls and a variety of other adjacent food. You build your own based off what you want, and they have a wide selection of ingredients available. I got poke burrito, with tuna, cucumber, spinach, cream cheese, avocado and green onion. The burritos are medium/smaller but it matches with the price you pay for it. The burrito was decent, as the ingredients were not the freshest but not old by any means. As for allergens, we asked in regards to my partners burrito and they said it should be okay. Unfortunately she did have a mild allergic reaction, and I understand accidents happen but something to note. As for the store itself, its a pretty large place and they sell a variety of plushies, blind boxes and vinyl figurines. I want to love it but it was just okay overall.

Variety of selection to choose, fresh made, vibrant atmosphere, great addition to the area.

I wanted something healthy so I checked this spot out for the first time today. I loved the whole vibe and decor of the place, extremely clean. Since it was my first time here; Ken helped me and was very friendly. He gave me a check list to create my own Poke bowl and I opted for shrimp as my protein, brown rice, shredded red cabbage, green onions, fried onions, pickled radish with two sauces; I also ordered a premium beef bowl and honeydew milk tea with boba to go for my son. The rice bowl is fresh and delicious; so is the honeydew milk tea! I highly recommend this super cute spot to grab some lunch or a healthy dinner. They have a great drink selection and sell cute keychains and stuffed plushes you can purchase as well! I also would like to point out the fact that the lady really packaged my to go meals properly! Utensils were neatly packed in and I love a place that does that! It really makes a difference.

I've been here dozens of times through the years and none have ever let me down! The brown sugar boba is to die for and the sushi burritos are so satisfying to eat - crunchy, chewy, and jam packed with the ingredients you choose! You're definitely getting what you pay for here. I've also always noticed that the place is ALWAYS clean and tidy, and they also sell really cute merchandise up at the front by the cashier! Also a big fan of the kpop music they play! The ambience in general is adorable with all the plushies and beautiful lights everywhere - the perfect cute joint to come enjoy with friends and good company :)

I was in the area for the 400s Theatre nearby, and was looking around for some options to grab a drink. Glad to see this place is a short walk from the theatre. I ordered a lemon strawberry boba drink with 25% sugar and I think it was very tasty. I will say that they put a little bit more ice in there than I had hoped for and when I purchased it, I wish they had asked how I wanted my ice level. Either way, the indoor space is really cute, and they have a large patio as well. This is a perfect spot given its proximity to Loyola!

I love coming here for boba, food, and to hang out. The interior is very welcoming and cute - they have a section near the register with keychains and plushies for sale and it is a very spacious place, always easy to find a seat. Service is also very fast for both food and boba. I've had their poke bowl for lunch and it was generous and filling. I also love that they have plentiful outlets for hunkering down to do some work. Highly recommend as a spot to check out in Rogers Park.

Great food! Highly recommend. Although they have an extended menu and its difficult to specialize. I don't recommend ramen, its all right but other options are more appealing.

I love eating fresh salads with the personalized ingredient list. Taichi Bubble Tea Chicago does just that. It reminds me of some places found in Honolulu. Upon arrival, customers fill out a menu in order to choose their own ingredients. Some ingredients include cucumbers, tofu, cilantro, bacon, tuna, shrimp, lettuce, ginger and red cabbage. I decided on the tofu and an all vegetable entree. Talk about delicious. I love how all the ingredients such as the seaweed salad, ginger, endamame, avocado, spinach, and green onions taste so fresh. For the base, I like the brown rice with sesame. The service rates an A+. We did not have to wait long to receive our order. Taichi Bubble Tea Chicago serves bubble tea as well. The next time I come here I will definitely order a bubble tea. Many students come here for a quick meal. They use the app to order their meals. Come to Taichi Bubble Tea Chicago. Bring friends, family, or dates.

Delicious ramen and sushi burritos. I had the Jasmine milk tea with boba. The service was quick and the restaurant was clean. Great for a quick clean meal close to Roger's park and loyao

Stopped in here for lunch to power up on a day of home renovations and this fit the bill- filling yet not heavy, pretty quick, and outdoor seating. Loved that there was a paper menu you could fill out to order exactly what you wanted, instead of awkwardly having to decide quickly at the counter. Lots of options to customize to fit your taste or diet. I got a brown rice poke bowl with shrimp and salmon, with yuzu and ponzu on the side. The veggies were fresh and tasty as was the protein. I didn't try any bubble tea or drinks but the menu was expansive and looked great. The inside space is nicely designed. Great fast casual spot.

I love this spot. Mainly because I moved from Hawaii last year to this hits a lot of positive notes for me and reminds me design and food wise of something I'd find in Hawaii. They have mainly Japanese fusion fare. Sushi burritos, rice bowls, ramen, and a variety of appetizers. All are full customizable with so many options. I have a chicken Teri rice bowl, a few in our party got ramen as well. Everything was delicious as usual. It's always good to finish your meal off with one of their milk teas or smoothies. I love the open space. They have lots of seating options and have a dining space in the back that can accommodate. There's Japanese in the area, but this place is more quick prep comfort food but outside of high end dining this is one of my favorite spots to get a quick fresh and healthy meal.

When I walked by here, I expected another mid-ramen place by a college campus that basically sold cheap but otherwise mediocre ramen. Well color me surprised when it was as fantastic as it was! The atmosphere is very clean and that modern chic with an asian flair. It's super cute and trendy inside with spacious booths, perfect for groups. But the ramen, ooh, this is some damn good ramen. It's not perfect but it warms the soul with a solid broth that's actually spicy! Toppings are average, solid egg but I gotta say the star here is the chashu. This looks like it would be mid. It's deliciously marinated pork belly that is above the base standard for what chashu should be. Going to be real, I have had better ramen, but for a local joint, this is a solid option I would recommend to anyone looking to warm the soul on a cold day.

I also substituted the regular noodles for the gluten free noodle (+$1). Overall, the meal was just okay. The server was attentive at first and after our food was delivered we never saw him. He never came back to check in on us or anything. My ramen overall was pretty good, had a ton of veggies and flavor with a bit of kick which I always enjoy. All my previous personal experiences…read morehave always proven to me that restaurants with names that don't represent their culture in distinct ways are generally subpar. For example, I would usually never even think to step into a restaurant named Best China House, Sushi Bistro, or Mom's Korean Restaurant. (Apologies if your shops are named as such. These were meant to be generic examples) Oh, how times have changed. I would have never thought having a bowl of ramen at a Monster Ramen would give me this much pleasure. Part of it will (in fact, most of it) be on me and my general philosophy on fusion cuisine and outdated gemerational gap. There was definitely a time when avoiding agorementioned type of restaurants may have been deemed smart. But I feel the new generation of restaurant owners and chefs have up'd their games in not only at better food making, but also accepting of a bit more irony. Anyone who knows me knows how much I stay away from trying anything "fusion." It's kinda funny to myself how hypocritical it is that I would be totally okay in substituting an ingredient or two when I'm missing some when cooking, but when it comes to paying money to sit and eat that I would judge chefs by thier style of cooking. Yes, a big part of it is based on a large pool of personally gathered data, but I do acknowledge that I need to open myself up a bit more. Case in point. I was recommended MR by a fellow Yelper and I decided to give it a whirl. I happened to have a friend and his son with me, so I was able to do small tastings of 3 different ramen. And boy, was I pleasantly surprised. We collectively had bowls of shio, shoyu and miso specials. Plus, I ended up getting the Summer Special bowl to go for my wife. All of them had their individual charm to them but more importantly, each of them were made to perfection when it came to broth seasoning and noodle texture, which are THE two most important aspect of ramen, in my opionion. Not too salty nor bland soup. Perfectly dense noodles. I just loved all four! It wad when I tasted the yuzu in tgeir shio ramen that my wife would love it. Even though I brought her the spicy Sunmer version home, I still think it'll be worth bringing her and our daughter back when we get a chance to. Our server Dionne (I think) was most pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, too. It helped that I came before the dinner rush, although, I can also see more lively vibe being nice as well. Will be back with the fam definitely!
