They were able to accommodate me right away and the woman behind the desk was very friendly. They never took my name, never did any intake or had me fill out a form. The only reason they might now have my name is because I paid by credit card at the end. This is not how a professional place operates. No one ever told me my therapist's name so I don't know who worked on me. She worked within a routine and never really focused on anything for very long. I tried vocalizing mmmmm or saying "good" to let her know when something felt good but she didn't really stop and get into the tissue. The first part of the massage was compression through the sheet and when she finally applied oil it was too much to do connected deep tissue. I enjoyed the hot stones bc I never choose that option so it was a nice surprise. Some of her techniques felt good but it definitely wasn't the kind of bodywork I enjoy or needed.

The massage was great. My masseur applied deep pressure the entire time, took care of the knots in my back and shoulders, and brought relief to my arms as well. He also did a thorough job on my legs, especially my calves and shins, again with strong pressure and technique. The massage did not include work on my feet nor head. My boyfriend's masseuse did a decent job too, though he noted that it felt a bit rushed, with no focused attention on any part of the body.
