For the combo, I was in a public room and since the location is in a busy building, you can hear people talking, walking, and opening the door outside. (I didn't mind since I was just there for my sore body, but do keep this in mind) There are other massage packages you can get to be in a private room though. I've been to other places where the masseuse would pause and leave for a while, talk to other people then come back. The massage I got at Crystal's was nothing like that. They provided a consistent, even pressure massage and when they did leave, it was to get supplies for the massage. STAY AWAY. THESE ARE NOT REAL MASSEUSES. They don't know what they are doing. They hurt me in the 10-15 minutes that I was on the table. I booked a 90 min, and I have never left a massage early. My masseuse did not provide a name. She also did not know if I booked a 60 min or 90 min massage. Once the massage started, I could tell immediately that this woman had zero training in bodywork, and she has no business calling herself a Masseuse. Before starting, I told her that I have been having neck pain and that one spot in particular was hurting and causing the rest of my muscles to tense. Without any warmup and before touching any other part of my body, she jammed her elbow into my neck with an inappropriate amount of pressure causing sharp shooting pain (neuropathic pain). She then held it there without moving. It hurt!! I had to ask her to stop. In fact, I asked her to stop many times because she was hurting me. She spent around 10 minutes randomly pushing on my body in various areas with no rhyme or reason. She would randomly and brutally shove her elbow into my back and legs without any therapeutic technique. At one point she had her elbow shoved directly on my backbone, not muscle or ligaments, on the bone!! It was obvious she was not familiar with the anatomy/muscle structure of the human body. She also brutally shoved her elbow on my IT band and held it. She was not even working in that area before she did this. I asked her to stop yet again. After the 4th or 5th time I asked her to stop, she moved on to the "oil massage". She pulled the sheet completely off, leaving me Naked on the table. She did not attempt to drape me, and she did not ask permission to touch certain parts of my body. I was on the table completely naked and oily. I do not think this was sexual, but it was definitely inappropriate. Once again, she did not massage my muscles. She just oiled me up and rubbed my body. I felt violated. At this point, I told her to STOP. I was done. While I was wrapping a sheet around my self and gathering my clothes,, I could hear her arguing/yelling with another lady next to the door. Together, they came into the room and tried to talk me into letting the other lady give a massage. I was hurt and just wanted to leave. They would not take "no" for an answer. At one point, the 2nd lady grabbed my shoulders without consent and tried to massage me while I was trying to pull on my underwear. It was an awful experience. I asked for a refund, but the ladies did not know how to do it and told me I could leave and they would get someone to refund me later. Instead, I called my bank and cancelled the payment before I left the facility. My massage started a little after 6pm and I was driving home by 640p. This place IS NOT LEGIT. Got a deep tissue massage. Felt like a normal massage. I asked for a male masseuse from the beginning when I called for a 6pm appointment. I showed up and had to wait 30 minutes for the male masseuse to show up. After the normal massage (I paid for deep tissue) the guy had the audacity to ask for a 20 dollar tip. I was already giving him 15 which was more than I wanted for an average massage. Continued to pressure for the 20 dollars. Excellent experience. I'm giving a 5 stars based on the technique and professionalism. I had a 90 minute Swedish message with Crystal and it is one of the best message experience I had in a very long time. The pressure was perfect to my preference (medium/hard) and it was maintained throughout the whole session which is very impressive. The environment is neat and is clean. It is not decked out with deco but to me is fine I'm not about my surroundings. The area I was in is almost like an open area with curtains dividers, but I believe there are very good spacing and I'm fine with that. I will definitely come back and try deep tissue. Big rooms and very clean, I feel safe having massage here but still need more decorations though . We booked two massages at the same time, my friend Sarah had the lady masseuse and I had the male masseur. Both were fabulous! A lot of acupressure points were hit during the massage and I swear my allergies are gone, at least for the moment! Nothing on my body hurts at all anymore and at 63, that is saying something. My friend is 66 and said her masseuse honed in on her trouble spots and used a lot of pressure points. More like a deep or medium tissue than a Swedish but a great massage either way! Then will tell you you will get a discount (becomes the same price as advertised in the website and in the lobby). When you pay, you will be surprised again because you get charged $5 more for paying credit card which by the way they didn't disclose upon checkin nor it is posted anywhere. Will never come back. Place is not conducive to massage. Could do a lot better with the decor/interior. Saw they just covered the lamp with a towel to have that dim effect.
