I have been eating at tailgaters for years, when I lived by the Litchfield park location I came to love the spicey garlic parmesan wings, Well now I live by the surprise location i spent 30.00 dollars for 30 wings and they where over cooked and the sauce was so bad i had to wash the wings off and apply my own sauce to the wings. Been here a few times, and actually thought I written a review before? Really thought they were crazy when they opened up right next to Booty's. They offer a wider menu then Booty's, and is a lot less noisier! Me and some fam were here a couple of times this past weekend. Their food was great, and service was just as good. i had their BBQ burger, only issue I had was there was no BBQ sauce on the burger? But the burger was still good, the next day we all shared a large garlic, tomato, and pepperoni pizza. This was very good as well. I will still continue to go next door for their wings. Had to give them 1 Star. We walked in and there was a hostess there but she never greeted my family. We waited a few minutes to give her a chance but nothing. Customer Service is not a priority here. We walked out and went to Booty's right next door where we greeted right away. It's a shame because we really wanted to try it. Great place to watch any sporting event staff is very accommodating to What you want to watch on their great selection of tv's every where you turn not a bad seat in the house. We even went back 2 more times. The food has been 'good for this area'. Its bar food but then this is a bar so that should not be a surprise. Still have not tried the pizza here. Maybe next time. This was my second time coming to Tailgaters with a big group and the staff and service was excellent every time. The table was all set up and ready for us even though we came earlier as scheduled. Michael, the waiter was superb. He was fast, efficient and very friendly and accommodating. The food was fine, nothing special, that's why I only give it 4 star rating. We had the burger 2 for 1 special today, it was really good! We had a great waitress, she was friendly and checked on us often! The fries were exceptionally good and hot. We go to Papa Murphys a lot right across from here but never stopped in here, I see they have pizza too so hopefully that will be good too! Some other unique things on menu like a baked Rueben, so anxious to try it! I'm happy they have dining away from the bar, lots of TVs to watch sports in all areas as well! This is our second and probably last time we will order from this place. We made an order for delivery from an old menu they sent out when they first opened up this location. We ordered the baked Philly cheese steak sandwich, club sandwich, hot dogs with fries and the sampler platter. We asked for extra ranch with our order and we were told it would take 45 to 60 minutes to arrive. It is a Saturday night and that is to be expected. It arrived about 35 minutes later. Perfect right? I asked the driver if the ranch dressing was included as it looked to me like it was missing. He assured me it was and he went on his merry way. I immediately go to check the order to make sure all is there, and guess what was missing..... RIGHT! The ranch dressing. So I called and asked that they bring me what my order was supposed to come with and what I was told was included with my order. They stated they would send some with their driver as soon as possible. About 10 minutes later my ranch arrived along with a coupon for $5 off my next order. Yay for me. There is some doubt as to whether or not that will get used. On to the food itself. The sampler platter as listed on the old menu showed it came with fried mushrooms. Little did we know they changed their menu and now it comes with chicken stripes instead of the mushrooms. Okay, we will live. But most of the stuff in the platter was so greasy. As though they soaked them in the oil for an hour and then fried it. The fries that came with the hots dogs were soggy and under cooked. The club sandwich my wife order was okay. She said "it is hard to mess up a club sandwich." So congrats on getting that at least on par. My cheese steak was disgusting. It was more like a calzone and not a baked sub. The bread seemed to me to be old dough they had lying around and decided to use on me. The bottom of the bread had all the little black bits of char from everything else in their oven. Luckily for me that is what gave the sandwich its flavor. Because without the burnt on bits of everything else, the cheese steak did not taste like anything. I was trying to choke down this sandwich since I paid $10 for it. I had to stop when I got to some secret prize in the middle that seemed to be a pocket of oil or something. After that it went straight to the trash. Bottom line, if you stray too far from the pizza or wings from this place, you will be very disappointed. read more

Its a nice Bar but the food is only average bar food at best but the service is very slow as there is only one bartender who serves drinks, waits tables and cleans all the glassware. It's too bad as it's a good location and I think the employees are reasonably friendly but regardless when we go in there it takes 20 minutes to get a beer at the bar and the food is even slower. read more

Food is consistently good. Portions are very fair. Staff is always courteous, accommodating, and genuinely concerned, from the manager to the hostesses, to the servers, to the food runners. We came out of here happy again. Karaoke was playing, plenty of TVs for entertainment and most importantly a filled bar and restaurant. The pizza is great, thin crust, stringy cheese, and a nice crispness to the ham on top of out pizza. It was a extra large for a discounted price of 9.99. Enough for 4 adults and we still took about half home. The 2 for 1 burger deal was going on so 2 burgers for 8.99 is a steal. A BBQ burger comes on a nice toasted bun. Just toasted enough to hold the meat, cheese, onion rings, bacon, and BBQ sauce all together. It is a big burger and the toasted bun makes it stay together with 1 hand. I do ask you request more BBQ, since mine was barely coated with sauce. The fries were fresh, right amount of salt, and plenty of cat-sup to enjoy the steak cut fries. Karaoke is not my thing, but it is great to watch people sing. Great entertainment and even some employees get involved to keep it going. Food is not good. Wings were dry and they serve them in a pool of fatty sauce. The beer selection is alright, but it wasn't very cold. Ordered chicken nachos, they put beef based chili on them and it didn't appear to state that on the menu. There are better choices but all in all the place is a big disappointment. I don't think you should have to ask if they are going to put beef, on chicken nachos and when I questioned the waitress she said that all nachos have chili on them, like I was from Mars. Everyone says eat local. We did. We did take at Tailgaters ilPrimo and was completely dissatisfied!! We ordered nachos that had plenty of stale soggy chips with no chili and a sprinkle of cheese over a few of the top of the chips with no cheese on any other chips. My husband ordered the club sandwich which was more bread than the essence of the sandwich!! I had the philly cheese stake sandwich which had no mayo and little cheese. The fries were ok, nothing to brag about but definitely better than anything else we got. For business slowing down you would think they would want to make sure the meals they prepare are on point! Tonight they did not care. This is not our first time there. When this location opened a few years ago we went and were not impressed but since it's been a few years so we tried again but we won't be going back. there is nothing worse than being disregarded repeatedly by a bartender Charlene..everytime I come in she walks by me attends to other customers previously served... hugs people socializes ..cleans up glasses talks to customers before so much as acknowledges me ... no hi ... be with you in a minute .. just ignored...( guess I don't spend enough because I tip 20% but mostly more but only have two drafts) ( I'm easy same draft drinks only two ...4-5$ tip ... it rarely changes...unless I get pizza which is also the same always undercooked to go... then I tip more ..you don't even have to say hi to me ... I've been coming here since I moved to Surprise... every Sunday during football with my family and friends ( I'm the undercooked cheese pizza customer a handful of servers including Charlene will know it's me because I was in so regular )who all drove out because I raved about the place...i now call daily to see who is tending bar as I will not come in if she's there...( I come from a restaurant/ bar owning family ...my daughter while working on her masters is a bartender currently.. never would she ignore multiple times a regular without a nod or tossing a beer I know is the order for 10 plus minutes to hug friends and refill previously served customer or to clean glasses... or she'd be fired... multiple other regulars feel the same and I rarely socialize except when we are all annoyed with her ignoring our presence... ask your regulars... I'm not the only one annoyed / offended ... ask her colleagues... they get the complaints I hear them regularly ... ...still I will come back when she is on and I call to be sure it's not her on ...and I will come back for football because other than that I do love the vibe the bartenders and servers... I walked out two days ago on her shift unserved ...that day she walked passed me multiple times to hug a patron serve others and clear glassware... a nod or an I'll be with u in a minute would have been amazing ... but I don't run a big enough tab for her to reconize and that's shitty . being in the business and having family owned establishments I always give benefit of doubt ... this has happened multiple times and without reason... this will likely be ignored ... you Have a great lot of amazing employees... and they keep the regulars coming ...
