The bag was still in good condition, but one of the leather shoulder strap attachments had broken and needed repairing so it could be used. I…read morewill post all pictures for proof. -She never used a measuring tape to make sure things were equal, BE CAUTIOUS OF THIS -Charged me $1200 for alterations, her 'bustle' she made me was made of other wedding scraps that was 2 strings to tie together under the dress -She cut my sleeves at different lengths, sewed them on at different parts of the dress and SEWED ONE ON UPSIDE DOWN AND DENIED IT. One sleeve was cut about 4 inches shorter than the other and at different thicknesses of the sleeves. -She pushed me out the door with the dress all bagged up before letting me try it on a final time, and that is my fault I should've pushed to try it on again -Never steamed the hem after she hemmed it so was curled up -Created receipts that I had NEVER been shown before after I told her she sewed a sleeve on upside down -Used every excuse in the book to send me a minimum refund for 'just the sleeves' and then called me shameful for asking my money back. Kept claiming she would send the check the next day and took over a week for her to finally do it. -TOLD ME WORD FOR WORD 'tip your seamstress' and she refused to refund the tip

We also had him do the cleaning for both of my dresses and my husbands tux and he is very honest and doesn't do anything he can't guarantee the outcome of. Which is very refreshing because some people will say they can do and destroy your garment. My mother in law even had her dressed altered there. I took a chance after reading reviews of Spring Cleaners and headed over to Port Washington from Great Neck. Jimmy said he could get the stains out. I was skeptical. The owner acknowledged the damage, and there were ongoing discussions about resolving it, but the matter was never resolved. Because of this, I filed a claim in Nassau County Small Claims Court. After reviewing the evidence, the court entered a judgment in my favor for the full value of the coat. Following the hearing, the owner approached me and attempted to hug me, which I found inappropriate and uncomfortable given the circumstances. Further to this, he demanded an apology for writing this review and left me a text message and voicemail with threats to sue me for writing this review. After nearly a month, he finally paid the summary judgement.
