Scheels is absolutely massive and somehow manages to have just about everything you could possibly want for sports, hunting, outdoor activities, and more. The selection is impressive, the store is consistently clean, and the staff is generally friendly and helpful. Beyond the sporting goods, they also have an enormous selection of clothing, footwear, accessories, and other gear. One of my favorite things about Scheels is that they carry a lot of unique brands and products that you simply don't see at most other retailers. That alone makes it worth the trip. There are really only two downsides: it's almost always busy, and it's not cheap. That said, the sheer size of the store usually keeps the crowds from feeling too overwhelming--unless you're at checkout. And while the prices can definitely be on the higher side, I somehow manage to walk out with something almost every time. I honestly wish there were several Scheels locations throughout the Metroplex instead of just one. This is the kind of store you can spend hours wandering around in and still find something new. If you're into sports, hunting, outdoors, or just great gear in general, Scheels is absolutely worth checking out.

To my surprise, the shirt was originally $35.00 and there was literally no discount applied. For me, coming here was a waste of time as I could've went to a regular Dicks Sporting Good and saved the gas of traveling across the metroplex. A few hours later I get an email stating I left these two items in my cart. I call Orvis, no answer. I email them. Hours later get a response your order is good, sorry. I get an email confirming the order at that time. Next day I receive an email that one item is not in stock but they will send the other item. I request the order cancelled and my gift card restored and my original credit card refunded. I request this three times with their customer service (the name customer service with Orvis is a lie, no service) but they want help me. Don't shop at Orvis as this is the 2nd time with Orvis this has happed in the last couple of years. No more Orvis, period.
