I love their rainbow rice but some days it's hit or miss on the flavor which is why I am only giving them 4 stars.

This is THE place we go for Chinese food in Killeen. We have always had good service and great food whenever we have eaten there. We like to go for dinner and eat family style with 1 or 2 entrees, rainbow rice (the best), and the assorted appetizers. If your looking for something new, try the Pungent Chicken or Pungent Shrimp, one of Mr. Jackson Huang's specialties! Portions are huge and we take home enough for a couple more meals. ....... This place is wonderful. We came here for many hale and farewells and lunch often when my husband can get enough time from work! The owner is awesome and always busts out his laser pointer and shows us our pictures. You can ask him to point out almost any unit, or specific person and he knows where they are despite the year or where the picture is placed. Good was awesome! We will be back!! I ordered egg drop soup, almond chicken, and noodles. I have to say the soup and noodles beat the rest of the competition out of the water!! The main dish was worth ordering again! My husband had the crab Rangoon, sweet n sour chicken, with fried rice. The rangoons were a little fishy, the chicken was excellent It did not have any of those "mystery funky pieces". Then the rice was full of flavor very yummy. Nice, clean mom and pop Chinese restaurant. The walls are a veritable Who's Who of Killeen. There are hundreds of pictures of patrons covering the walls. Service was quick, helpful, and friendly. The combination plates offer a lot of food for a good price. They come with sweet and sour chicken, rice, an egg roll, and a choice of other small entree. The regular entrees come family-style. All options offered a ton of food - enough to walk out full and still have enough left over to lunch the following day. We enjoyed everything we got, including double sauteed pork, pungent chicken, hot and sour soup and egg rolls. We'll definitely be back! read more

Service was amazing. Quickness of food, perfect. Clean atmosphere, good food and the majorly support are soldiers. To give a little more insight as to the food: the crab ragoons were very good. The egg roles were so-so. The beef sticks we're very tasty! The won-ton soup I will be getting all the time!!!! The Mongolian beef was not as spicy as my husband would have liked. The lemon chicken for me was delicious. They use whole which thighs and their lemon glaze is perfect, not too sweet. The only we weren't that giddy about was the fried rice. We determine after eating our left overs was the it was missing salt and some garlic. Other than that, we'll totally becoming back and trying other dishes. read more

This place smelled like stir fried poop due to their septic tank being cleaned during lunch time. The waiter brought my Pepsi out in a dark blue cup. When I stirred my drink up a receipt floated to the top! Then they served me the 3 delight with a fly in my fried rice! Even though they replaced my food, thus place is unsanitary. The food is not worth the risk of food poisoning. If you just have to eat here, inspect your food first. The taste of the food is mediocre. read more

I went there for lunch one day. the staff was rude, the food was not good. When i told the staff that my chicken was un not what i expected they seemed to blame me accusing me of adding salt. I love this place and have been coming here for years. I will start off saying that the food is more Chinese authentic than most people who think Panda Express is Chinese, but more Americanized than an authentic Chinese restaurant. Meaning they have the stuff you find at buffet, but it tastes way better. It's actually made fresh as opposed to pulled out of packages (I mean how else do buffets all taste the same?). I enjoy the fact the fried rice does not come with veggies in it which is still a valid form of fried rice, but everyone is so used to seeing veggies they think something is wrong. It may seem a little boring, but the sweet and sour chicken is the best because it is fresh, lightly breaded, and crisp. I haven't found a sweet and sour chicken that tastes like this. I've also had General Tso's, Roast Pork w/ Broccoli, Beef Szechuan which are also good options. So if you're looking for something good in the downtown area give it a try. Just a note it is right in front of Union State Bank. Some people miss it because it does blend in some with the buildings it's next to. read more

I have eaten, or ordered take out from Taiwan Dragon many times ,my favorite was the rainbow rice (had some problems with fatty pork in it ) but the amount of other meats made up for that. HOWEVER, today after eating some of it I noticed something looked out of place ... ............ A FLATTENED OUT !!!!!! C O C K E R O A C H !!!!!!!!!!!!!! it was right on top with the other meats !!!!!!!!!!!! This place WAS my go to place for combination fried rice but this time the combination of meats was too much ! And to top it off when I brought it back the lady asked if I wanted something else.......I was doing all that I could to keep from upchucking (sorry ) right there and couldn't wait till she showed the cooks it and HAD TO leave .....Wow I can never eat there again! read more

The food was terrible. The fried rice tasted like grease. The sesame chicken was like grizzle that you just keep chewing and chewing and hope you don't choke. We had 2 waitresses. The short Hispanic woman was very nice. The other lady, who I'm assuming was a manager, or a head waitress since she told everyone what to do and snapped at them all, was rude as hell. We sat around for an hour after our meal with friends that were moving away the next day. I overheard her telling our waitress to try to get us to leave since they close at 9 pm.
