I honestly rarely leave reviews on restaurants but I have never had an experience with a waiter like this in my whole life. I came in to eat with my brother on Friday night and we were appalled at how our server acted. He barely paid any attention to us the entire time we were there and randomly made screaming noises while just wandering around. We thought it was weird but didn't want to assume anything, until we heard him yelling slurs to some of the other workers as he was walking past our table. I have never heard someone say things like this in a public setting, it was quite jarring. I don't know how that kind of behavior is acceptable, and as a woman of a color it was so horribly offensive. Our waiter was this skinny filipino young man with grey hair. Environment: Playing jpop which is a great touch. Floor was a little sticky. Saw some gnats. Food: No squid or ikura. Bummer. Inari is bad. Tastes like it was soaking in bad water. Unagi (eel) sushi was great. Easily the best thing here. Nice char, and not too much sauce. Yellowtail is also great. Tako was chewy, but that's to be expected. Not bad. Oishii: no rice, imitation crab with some sashimi wrapped in cucumber. Not bad, but mostly tasted of imitation crab. Tamago: not bad, but I've had much better from similar places around here. Sushi taco: sashimi on deep fried tortilla. Fun concept, but very difficult to eat, and shell was more greasy than crispy. The cilantro and sauce on it are really good and go well with the sashimi though. Salmon sushi: was on the lean side without stripes of marbling you usually see. Flavor wasn't bad. Tempura was lackluster. Didn't have kabocha or sweet potato. The the sauce was strangely thick and sweet. Service: I came right at opening and there was an inexperienced server, but he did a great job! Seems like he didn't have any help for serving the whole restaurant, but did the best he could. Strange thing happened. I asked for cucumber with the yellow tail cut roll, and they asked if I wanted it with or without avocado. I've never heard of this coming with avocado in all sushi places I've been to. It doesn't say it on the all you can eat menu, and it isn't listed in the pictured menu either. Sad to say, I'll probably go down the street to sushi okoku next time. read more

I went in a few days ago with my family. I kept getting recommended to go here to AYCE sushi, but the system is very limited tho. It really didn't give me an "all you can eat" vibe. There were certain things on the menu that just left us stunned. The quality for certain ones were bad, like the sushi, itself, was extremely mushy like if the sushi was soaked. The soups were bland. What stunned myself and my party was the cup ramen--it was actually an instant ramen bowl that you can buy yourself. It came out with the sealed lid and everything. It was my mistaken thinking it would come out in a well presented bowl. The prices were high for the amount we ate. We started off slow wanting to trying things, but end off slower. They just shook it up to make it look filled. The roll itself taste like the inside of a refrigerator so it must've been in there for a while. I'm tired of wasting my money on you Riverside restaurants. I honestly should dispute it, its that bad and its low down to serve customers this food but its also my fault because there was literally no customers inside this big ahh restaurant. The guy that helped me was pretty nice but now thinking back, I had asked him, "What's your favorite roll here?" He responded, "Customer's usually get Golden tiger" So he don't even eat that sht.
