Combo 1

We were craving seafood boil so we decided to stop by kickin crab because it was near by. The inside is very spacious. The time we went was pretty empty so we were sat right away. But they do offer a Yelp waitlist for there more busy days. We ordered their combo 1 where you can pick 3 pounds of seafood and it also included 2 corns, 2 potatoes and sausage. We ordered kicking style medium spice but it was not spicy at all and actually had more of a sweetness. The shrimps were pretty big and the crawfish were live not frozen. Service was really fast and we did not have to wait long for drinks and food. They kept coming to check if we were doing okay as well which i appreciated it. My only critique would have to be the pricing. I felt that the market price was 2/3 dollars more than some other places we've been too. And the combo as well was mor expensive then some other seafood boil spots we've been too. Overall it's a solid seafood boil spot but i do think you can get better taste for a bette price elsewhere.

I wanted to give this place another chance because I haven't been in awhile. We decided to order take out this time. We were able to order ahead of time over the phone. They require a credit card on file if you order over $150 which is understandable. The portion size did not match the high prices. The fish and chips was 5 nugget sized pieces of fish and a bucket of fries for $15.99. Ridiculous. The fries were over seasoned and the fish was under seasoned. The shoe string fries were pretty dry too. We got a boil in a bag and it was just okay. They don't give very many condiments with the food. The order was done in the timeframe they quoted me at. The waiting area is limited. I suggest dining in if you can because the decor is creative and cool. In not a fan of this place

Overall I had a good experience. We went on a weekday and it was a little slow that day maybe 3-4 tables were being served. Service was prompt and my server gave great service. I was able to watch some of the Dodger game while I was there which was nice, plenty of TVs to choose from. As far as the food the seafood broil bag never disappoints. I got the peeled shrimp (1LB) which potatoes, sausages and corn. The Cajun Fries were good and they gave me a good portion. I was just a little thrown off by the drink. I ordered a Michelada and they gave me one of the Gas Station $1 Miche cups to pour my beer in. I politely gave it back to the waiter because I was expecting them to make one. The location in Chino Hills makes their own and it's very good. I just thought that was hilarious. If I was told before hand I would have declined. I will be back the food is really good.

My goodness, the Cajun sauce here is absolutely delicious! We polished off every single dish. What made the experience truly special, however, was running into a staff member whom we've encountered at other places he's worked; no matter where he is, his service is consistently beyond excellent--friendly, cheerful, and always respectful toward the customers. A truly magnificent meal. Our sincere thanks for everything.

I came on super bowl Sunday. The restaurant just opened. My order was a to go order. I was greeted at the door and promptly my order was taken. I ordered from the appetizers, which was the three shrimp tacos. These were street tacos with only two pieces of shrimp. The Shrimp were seasoned with the mild spices. I was given a container of chopped onions, tomatoes with cilantro. This far from the cajun flavor I'm use to. The decor of the restaurant was nautical with a pirate at the and a seat make in the image of a crab. Plenty of seating outside on the patio as well as inside the restaurant. Perfect for large groups. Parking is free and wheelchair accessible.

Went here for Valentine's Day today with my husband & we had such a great time!! It was VERYYYY busy today, both inside & for takeout, due to the holiday, but that did not stop their fast & nice service. We probably were sitting down for only 10 minutes before our drinks, appetizers and seafood boil came to our table. The employees were on it!!! The music & the vibes were great in the restaurant as well, they played lots of music that was lovey dovey r&b, which is my fav! Only hiccup was that we have to check in & receive a text to be seated. I never got the text from them saying that my table was ready, and they ended up taking my name off the waitlist. Fortunately, they resolved that problem super quick & immediately sat us down once I spoke with them! Now for the food! We ordered a Cajun fry, pita bread, and the family meal 1 with only shrimp & sausage. I also asked for a side of the spicy spicy sauce since I love things a bit more spicy than my husband. The fries are always on point, we get them every time! We were directly under the AC vent tho, so they ended up getting a bit cold after a while.. but that's to be expected. The meal was AMAZINGGGG!! Super flavorful & the pita bread was perfect for dipping into the leftover sauce. We ordered lots to make sure we had leftovers, & we had plenty to take home! I wish I took better pictures to show off the greatness but we couldn't wait to dig in! lol Overall such a great experience. We look forward to coming here, as this is our only fav seafood boil spot. I know that we'll be back soon!

Grilled Shrimp Tacos (3 per order)

Absolutely loved this place. Can't have it too much because it certainly works its magic on my stomach, but the flavors are so wonderfully intense and the seafood tastes great just soaking in that sauce. We got 3 lbs of shrimp without the heads in the combo and added a pound of clams and some extra sausage, corn and potatoes. It was all amazing in the kickin style sauce. My kids like the mild sauce because it's all the flavor and just a little kick. The restaurant is so much bigger and open than the one in Irvine and they also gave us gloves to help with the mess. Waiter was super cool and food came out really fast. Great all around experience. And don't sleep on the shrimp tacos. They are that little extra food you didn't know you needed.

A clear sign that last call is 15 minutes before closing

We got here at 925 they turned us away despite there being a sign saying 15 minutes before closing super disappointed we drove 20 minutes to get here

This place always does us so good! The shrimp are always cooked perfectly, the kickin style sauce in mild is soooo good! Potato's are cooked to perfection and let's not forget the sausage! Bomb!! Never any complaints! Garlic noodles? My kids love them! They're so good, it's a must try! Very friendly service also!!

Stopped at the seafood boil spot in Corona. Built my own bag with shrimp, kickin style and medium spice, threw in some potatoes and corn as well. On the side I had some regular fries and some pita bread. The fries were some solid fries you would get at a little burger joint by your house, nice amount of salt, nothing to die for. The pita bread is a little rough, it pairs well if you dip it in the sauce though. The shrimp bag though, let me tell you, that sauce is a beauty along with the little spice to it. This is where all the flavor is, potatoes pair nice with it and some sauce on the corn. The shrimp along with some salt is a beauty to the beholder, which is the mouth. Fries: 7.2 Pita Bread: 7.0 Shrimp boil bag: 8.6

I have curly hair for reference.

I had a really disappointing experience here. The seafood boil was mediocre at best--nothing special, especially for the price. But the real issue was finding a hair inside one of my crab legs. Completely unacceptable and honestly pretty disgusting. What made it worse was the staff's response. When I brought it up, they were completely unapologetic and acted like it wasn't a big deal. No urgency, no real concern, just a very dismissive attitude. Mistakes happen, but poor hygiene combined with terrible customer service is hard to overlook. Between the lackluster food and how the situation was handled, I won't be coming back. Definitely not a place I'd recommend.

My granddaughter picked Kickin Crab to celebrate her birthday dinner. The steamy, spicy bags of delicious shrimp, crab, crawfish, mixed with potatoes, Cajun sausage, cobb corn and the main ingredient-GARLIC! We started by sharing an order of edamame. Spicy, garlicky and gone. Done and dusted. We should have ordered two. I dawned the plastic bib and suggested it to all that we're going in. I went for the gloves too but it made peeling the head on shrimp, more task than I wanted. For frozen, the crawfish was plump and had good texture and flavor. We ordered waaay too much food and enjoyed it until we were stuffed and had plenty to go (at least 2 lbs). The place was lively, had the games on the big screen. All good! I came in with a hang over so I wasn't absolutely hungry... The service was SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. It took forever to be seated and be checked . We came in on a Saturday but it wasn't super busy.. so I expected us to be seated and served much quicker. Maybe there was a few call off. The food was ok... it lacked flavor! I wouldn't return personally

Food items are tasty but a little limited in choice--would like to see a classic N'Orleans Po'Boy on the menu for example. Pricey too.

Great food is important, but great service is what turns a meal into an exceptional dining experience, and he delivered both. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, he was attentive, prompt, respectful, and genuinely kind. I also noticed how he interacted with the other tables around us. Every guest seemed to feel like they had his full attention, which is a rare quality. I work in an industry where I do a lot of hiring, and Luis is exactly the kind of person we look for. His professionalism, attentiveness, and customer service made a lasting impression. Thank you, Luis, for making a great meal even better. We'll definitely be back!

The banchan was delicious and had a nice variety, including radish stem kimchi, cucumber kimchi, fish cakes, soybean paste with nuts, fried eggplant, and more. Everything tasted fresh and well made. We started with the fried dumplings, which were crispy on the outside and filled with really tasty filling. The soybean stew was packed with flavor and had potatoes, onions, and zucchini--super comforting. The short ribs were juicy and flavorful, especially with a side of rice. The pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and the dipping sauce added just the right touch of sweetness. Even the salad was good, with a dressing that wasn't too overpowering. They serve hot barley tea and water, and you can buy canned soft drinks if you want something else. Everything we had was delicious--honestly, there wasn't anything I didn't like. Prices were fair, and the customer service was great. Our waitress checked on us several times to make sure we were good and even showed us how to make rice porridge using the hot barley tea and the crispy rice at the bottom of the pot, which ended up being really good too. The inside of the restaurant is very clean, well-lit, and has lots of natural color (tans, brown). It appears to have been recently remodeled. There is plenty of seating and open space. This restaurant is great for groups of all sizes. We'll definitely be back to try more items.

I am used to soon tofu soup having multiple levels of spiciness. Also no raw egg is offered without the soup, this I also found odd. Also, banchan was very disappointing. This is what makes the meal for me. Kimchi was not fermented enough and was a pale orange color, fishcake was not offered without you asking, there were no cucumbers, scallion pancake, seasoned bean sprouts, potatoes, or noodles. The flounder offered was very tasty but again, offered at the end of the meal when we were wrapping up. I'm used to this being offered at the beginning or during meal. I think I would only go back if they ramped up their banchan but I did ask, and they said they won't really rotate their banchan :( staff was very attentive but the food will make or break it for me.
