Service is consistently good. I wished there were pompanos instead of tilapias in the hot foods section. I usually can find what I want. Today, I was looking for chicken herbs but not there. One of my favorite Hmong and Lao markets! I love the hot food section for lunch picks and it's especially good on the weekends. I've never gone wrong and the selection allows me to try different things that I otherwise might not get to try with over committing. The rest of the store has all of the essentials to cook a great meal. Sometimes I'm able to purchase Kalabang, which is a spicy hot chili paste in a jar that definitely has to be refrigerated. read more

If you plan to buy any can food or item that's scanned for price to pay at this store, DON'T! This store up charges .10 cents for each item. I catch them each time I go and I don't go often. Their excuse is that "oops! It must be in a wrong place." No way! The price tag on the shelf never matches the price you pay at the register on anything! PAY ATTENTION YOU WILL GET RIP OFF! Best selection Hmong market located off of Norwood. They have a wide variety of all of the Asian noodles, veggies, candies and more. The only area that needs work with this store is their meat selection. Some days they have some good fresh meat but most days it seems not stocked and/or old. read more

It's a clean and reasonably stocked Asian mart; medium sized. I was there on a Saturday late morning and their hot foods area was pretty sparse :( They cater party platters as well, but without the option of tasting their fare (no available hot items were on the catering list), I opted to not risk it. I do, however, wished they did inventory stocks on a weekday as the aisles are small and maneuvering around other carts turned out to be a pain. A bonus is that they have store specials. Got a massive bag of 40 count rice crackers for $3 and a 6lb can of bamboo shoots for $4. The area is sketchy if you're not familiar with that part of town. I had a truck almost run me off the road since the street was narrow. Also, the parking is narrow on the side by the restaurant, so make sure you park on the other side right at the entrance. read more

Nothing like what they make it seem on their Facebook page. Went around 3 PM and bought my daughter the steamed layer cake and it was absolutely disgusting, salty, mushy and gooey -- inedible. I believe they only put the store closing time on their to-go food items so they don't have to take them off the shelves; definitely violates health codes. The produce section was small and half the produce were rotting or obviously old. Lastly, like many others mentioned, the owners, especially the wife are very unfriendly, which will make you feel extremely uncomfortable. How are you going to run a business if you don't even value your customers or acknowledge them? Went in once, never again. read more

I just moved into the neighborhood 2 doors down and love having them there. The store is clean and the employees are very helpful and nice. They carry a nice big variety of Asian foods and household items as well as standard American fare. The produce selection is great and they have a nice assortment of hot foods and cold Asian delicacies premade and wrapped ready to pick up for lunch or dinner. Their customer service sucks so bad, I do not want to support at all. My husband's reasoning is that Hmong people are kind of all like that, but to me, that isn't even valid. If you're going to open a business, you should be more welcoming. You should know where items are located and if you don't, you should help. The husband greets sometimes, but the wife looks like she hates her life. She will not even acknoledge you're there, in front of her register. If you don't care about service, then yes, it is nice to have an Asian store close by. Other than that, I'd rather go somewhere else. read more

Don't order the party trays. I ordered the $65 pork ribs for first time, and picked it up at 10:30am. It was cold/dried/crusty, like out of freezer. They said they made it early. Really? I told two person to not put sweet sauce on it, and it still came mixed with the sweet sauce to mask the old leftover ribs! read more

This is a big Hmong supermarket. Got most the things you would want and need. Hot foods were okay. I got the eggrolls, pork turnovers, sushi, and sticky rice with chicken wings. Eggrolls were small and barely had any stuffings. Pork turnovers were big but mostly dough, not much stuffing either. Sushi was good. Sticky rice was good too but chicken wings were kind of plain. Food was decent overall. Would come back for things I need if I'm in the area but probably won't come back for the hot foods again. Or if I do I'll try the other hot foods I haven't tried yet :) read more

Got some spicy noodles packs on sale for 3.99 each. I like how they have some sales on special items.
