Rogue frog in the meat department!

Went to the meat department and found a rogue frog. He told me to hop in line, then stared at me rudely when I asked questions. Great selection, questionable customer service from the amphibian staff.

Check the expiration date before purchasing, which I failed to do. Came home and took off the lid. Noticed a bunch of freezer burn on top. But it was hot outside and I needed something cold. I scraped the top layer off and took a bite of the ice cream underneath. Tasted off. I looked at the expiration date and it is 3 months past due. I chucked it in the garbage because I already knew how hard it was going to be to try to return this. The $4 wasn't worth my time and argument with the staff.

Amy's almond cookies tastes like outdated a year.

Bought these Amy's almond cookies over the thanksgiving weekend. Low and behold they tasted outdated by a year. I looked all over the packaging and could not locate a sell date.

Gray and rubbery chicken. Not even chewable.

Got their sweet and sour chicken and it had the texture of jerky. Hard and must've been made the previous day and refried. Absolutely disgusting.

They deep fry your fish for you!

I see low ratings but I loved this store compared to anything we can get in Hawaii as well as the prices! The produce section is huge! You can get big bunches of perilla leaves as well as all the other herbs we bought. Fish balls, shrimp and meat balls everything we wanted for pho and shabu nights! I want to say the live dungeness crab was $8.99/pound? We pay $16.99 in Hawaii.

Feb 2025 current pricing for hot food to go. Simple on the go snacks

I wish I could give this store more stars because it really is a good place to buy Sea food, poultry, Beef, Pork and fruits cut theres a few things that I dislike tho. I like that they always have mangos for a real reasonable price when mangos are in season. I like that they have all kinds of fruits and vegetables some that you cant get all your local american grocery store. I dislike the fact that when you walk in here the lights are super bright to the point that it hurts my eyes, i dislike that no one understands english and its hard to find what you are looking for if you dont know the stores lay out. One thing that I discovered when coming here this past Friday is that, THEY SELL EXPIRED STUFF AND TRY TO HIDE IT! I was looking to buy the liquid seasoning and most of them were expired. Theres one thing if maybe they forgot to pull the expired merchandise off the shelfs and its another thing that they try to cover it up and bamboozle us into buying expired merchandise. The erased the expiration year on the liquid seasoning but you could still see that it says 2019 thats some shady stuff! CHECK THE DATES, check out the pic that I posted if you don't believe me.

The store has a terrible smell and it gets worse as you approach the meat department. Wanted to ask a question at the meat counter and the service is terrible. It's like you are bothering them. Kids had to use the restroom while we were there...the most disgusting thing I've ever seen and smelled. I wouldn't eat anything that came from here.

I was not too fond of the place here. It was smelly and also sold expired goods. So be aware to check the expiration date.

I've always found exactly what I need for most recipes. Canned goods to fresh fruit. And I always leave with something new.

like a previous yelper said, you'll find some things here and not at the other store on 65th, and vice versa, but the prices are definiltey better here.

Just got back from Japan and we were on the lookout for a taste of the trip back at home. We've…read morefrequented Oto's and KP International, but it was our first time at 99 Ranch Market. There was plenty of parking in the lot, and we grabbed a cart and made our way inside to start browsing. Right in the front they have prepared foods with a bakery and ducks hanging up ready to be sliced up. We quickly browsed this area before heading into the regular grocery area. The grocery store is well stocked and has a good variety of each type of item, with different brands and flavors of items available. Not only do they have a good amount of shelf stable foods, but they also have an ample refrigerated/frozen section and fresh area. They even have tanks of fresh fish and fish on ice for purchase. We also noticed they had a nice selection of dishes and homegoods, as well as cooking equipment. The whole store is clean and organized and even with the fresh fish there isn't an overwhelming fish smell. They definitely have a broad selection of items and pull from different areas of Asia. While we didn't find everything we were specifically looking for, we did discover some new items that we'll be trying out. The staff members were very nice too, at checkout we earned some store rewards and the cashier was able to utilize some right away on some prepared food we were purchasing. I thought that was really kind of her.

What a trip. As we were driving there I realized we took the car with out all the reusable bags in…read moreit. OPPs!!! As it turns out we had 2 smallish bags in back. We dumped them out and brought them in. 2 is better than none. As it turned out 99% of our items fit in those two bags. $56 gets you a lot of food, but not too much that we couldn't cart it out. The times that didn't fit was the aloe juice, rice crackers and box of lychee. I was so excited that I forget to take a picture of the box of lychee I picked up. It was I believe $7 for 1.8lbs. Expensive still even with the $1 discount off as it was regular $8. They had another variety for $2 something a pound, you but you had to buy a to more. I love fresh lychee but rarely buy it because it's usually out of season and so expensive. I want to report back that the lychee is very good. Sweet and the pits aren't too big. I'm glad I got the box. I wish it came in a recyclable paper box so I wouldn't feel as guilty about throwing it out. It came in a cute plastic basket with a lid and a handle. I'll have to find a use for it afterwards. Our main reason for coming in today was in search for salmon and a vegetable to cook for tomorrow's dinner. Mexico s playing to Moro a for the world cup and we're hosting a watch party. They had 3 cuts of salmon. We got two of the three. Steak and a thin filet. It's going to be so delicious. My husband marinates it for hours and it's so good. We got some Choy to along with it. And egg custards for dessert. We. Each got our own so we don't' have to share. The mini egg custard tars were $2.99 each or 2 for $4.99. We only bought 3, one for each of us. They have so many choy options. He wanted one more leafy when steamy. So we got a bag of the leafy kind. They were a good deal. There produce for the most part is reasonable. With the exception of their boxed fruit, that's expensive. Or it's just too much as they all will ripen at the same time and who can eat 24 mangos? One thing we are out of at home was cheddar cheese. We didn't even look to find out if they had it. The deli was closed when we arrived around 6pm. Sadly no bao for us. I was really hoping for some to take home and east as snacks for later. I looked at the ones in the freezer section ,but you need a steamer for those and I believe they are uncooked so I passed. I just wanted some so I could nuke them. We looked at the ones in the fridge section of the deli but, my husband vetoed them. We'll have to find somewhere else to get them. They had two kinds of Aloe juice with crunchy pulp. Regular and pineapple. The pineapple sounded so good, but. I'm cutting gout drinking stuff other than water in the hopes of getting. healthier and losing weight. No more empty calories. I really do like the crunchy pulp. It reminded me of boba and so much cheaper than a boba drink. Clearance section. I didn't see any outstanding deals. I was so disappointed as my parents always find the amazing deals on those shelves. We totally scored on parking. We got the first spot. We had to drive down to the next isle, but abt was ok, it was closer to the front door. There really is plenty of parking as they have a whole shopping center they share parking with. Carts. Unlike Raley's they have plenty of carts. There is no shortage. I love it. Without shopping carts it's difficult to do all the necessary shopping. Thank you 99 Ranch. Thought we spend more money, we still are saving money compared to other stores.
