The Commerce Commons Food court is a small food court with five restaurants including Mexican,Thai,Sandwich shop,Mediterranean, etc. This is my second time coming to the food court but this I wanna try Mexican there's restaurant called Taka Taka Tacos I heard they serve great Mexican food. I decided go to Taka Taka Tacos and try it out for myself I got there at right before the lunch hours that get food court busy. I headed to Taka Taka Tacos and look at the menu before that I was looking at my Yelp app and I know what to order. I order the Takaquitos Plate it contains 4 miniature chicken taquitos,lettuce,pico de gallo,sour cream,firey aioil Taka sauce with beans,rice salsa. Then I waited until the food was ready couple of minutes the food was ready then I went home. I got home then I could smell the aroma of the food then took the food from the bag open top container the food smell really good. The Takaquitos were very crunchy and incredible flavors in the Takaquitos the chicken was season very well with the addition of the firey aioil and sour cream combine together were so good. The rice was very good season well and the beans very delicious I really enjoy it very much. Next when Time go back to Taka Taka Tacos I probably orders something different from their menu read more

Do I dare say that this is one of my fave burrito spots?! Only downside is that they're only open weekdays during lunch hours. It's located in a food court style spot with a lot of different cuisines. Ample parking which is always a plus! The only thing you need to try is the California burrito with carne asada and the GREEN SALSA! It's nice because your burrito comes with a side of chips. We were bummed that they were out of the churro cookies that day due to limited supplies, but we tried an assortment of their Mexican food offerings... + Chicken TAKAquitos plate ($13)... good! + California burrito w/carne asada ($12) - my nine-year-old insisted she was starving and wanted this burrito. It barely fit in both of her hands. Lol. I ended up eating half of it because it was a behemoth plus we all shared. This burrito is packed with flavor. Every single bite had all of the ingredients! Not spicy, so definitely ask for salsa. + My 7-year-old requested a custom cheese & carne asada taco ($4) 7/8/22... she loved it & basically inhaled it then mooched off of us. Ordered for a small group at work... the food tasted old. We ordered the steak burrito and steak tacos. The steak was hard and tasted like it sat out all day. That was the driest burrito I've ever eaten. For 2 steak tacos and 2 steak burritos the restaurant gave us 4 sauces. 2 red and 2 green. It wasn't enough... we shared sauces and it was still too dry. I am not in anyway shape or form an expert on nachos however I have eaten a lot of nachos in my life. I was going to let this go however after my stomach started to hurt right after finishing, I needed to leave a review and inform the public. For starters, the chips are not freshly made. Understandable as you want to save costs right? But with the plethora of Mexican food options, you would think that this would stand out at least by making their own chips. And if it is the case they make their own chips, then they need to fry those bad boys a little bit longer because the chips they are using are the absolute worst as they get soggy and have an off taste to it. I like eating my nachos with my hands like a neanderthal however if you are going to give me chips with the consistency of a wet papertowel, then I have no choice to eat with a fork like a civilized being. The cheese for the nachos is one of those 7-11 type liquid cheese which again, I get you are saving costs but come on, put some actual cheese on here, not the liquid stuff. Lastly, who puts beans on the bottom of nachos? I thought they did not put the beans in (which I wouldn't mind) however in all my years of eating nachos (at least 20+), this is the first time where I distinctly recall thinking, "wtf, why is this on the bottom?" The refried beans were underneath the nachos on everything in which you have to eat this with a fork instead of your hands. Only redeeming factor is the meat as it actually was pretty tasty. The staff was super friendly as well too so they got that going for them. If you are looking for nachos, I would not recommend this place at all. The other stuff like the burritos maybe. read more

First timer here and I will say I'm impressed. Asada stayed true to it's summertime backyard Sunday flavor. It was well complimented but the rice, beans and sauces. The jam packed flavor provided in this bowl has the w perfect amount of marinade, zest, and small kick. I really don't understand why more Mexican places don't just put better meat in their food. This place nails it, their asada is a leg up on the competition, probably the best burrito I've ever had. Salsa verde super on point too. I'm extremely critical of asada burritos, few places do them right. I would happily serve this asada in my backyard and the Mexican side of my family would be impressed. The burrito didn't fall apart, meat tasted damn good and wasn't fatty, which surprisingly a lot of places screw up at least one of those. The only thing I would say could have improved was the burrito presentation, it looked a bit wrinkly like it wasn't wrapped right. I'm super picky about the quality of my meat & the Carne Asada was perfectly charred (can taste it), thin sliced & flavorful as if you just got it at your favorite family BBQ. I ordered the California chicken burrito with the French fries on the side because I'm a firm believer that you should not add starch to something already wrapped with starch lol (just my opinion). Anyway the man behind the counter was more than accommodating and gave me a pretty descent sized side of fries which was unexpected. It came with salsa and chips which is an automatic win for me. The red and green salsa looked amazing however seemed to lack flavor. This would normally cause me to minus a star however the amazing taste of the burrito made up for it. The chicken was super juicy accompanied by Pico de Gallo, cheese and other flavorful ingredients that were well mixed together. When I first walked into Taka Taka Tacos I loved the ambiance. I came with 4 of my co workers. 3 of us ordered burritos we drove back to work to find that all 3 burritos were ordered incorrectly. My co worker order number 26 ordered a grilled shrimp burrito extra cheese , extra asada, extra chicken no pico no cabbage and the burrito came with all of the above not only that the shrimp was fried!! The next 2 burritos order number 27 and 29 we ordered grilled shrimp burritos with everything we added asada and cheese and the burritos came with only the meats cheese rice and beans. We all paid $20+ for these burritos. When I called to advise them of the mistake and ask for a refund because we couldn't leave work to exchange burritos I was told that they have to review the cameras to make sure the food was made incorrectly instead of accommodating their customers. So I say all that to say this. Please check your order before you go so your not asked out of your hard working money. Their food is pretty over priced and we all are out here trying to make ends meet. I'd never spend another $20 here. read more

The fries with grilled chicken were amazing, orange sauce was spicy and flavorful and filled with crisp, grilled veggies. Kids loved the bean and cheese burritos. Everything was fresh. The owners and staff are amazing, a beautiful family that you just want to support, with an added bonus that the food is delicious.
