    Lobster Filet Hibachi

Fabulous service and chef rocked our dishes! Julia was on point with every need and the chef prepared our Filet & Lobster along with Mom's Steak & Chicken perfectly! My Super Dragon Roll was amazing and no problem substituting soy paper. Great Saki choices and ice cold Sapporo culminated into an amazing evening! FYI - $116 before tip for 3... What are you waiting for?

Went here for a hibachi table and pretty impressed. The cook was very personable and made the dinner. The cooks laugh was very contagious and there would be times we would just be laughing with him about nothing. The food was pretty good. The chicken was a little over cooked and chewy and we never got a side of regular white rice for one person in our party but I think we can definitely look past that. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere inside is cool with all of its architecture. I will be returning here!

Great food, cheap cocktails, very friendly staff. Sick decor. Tuna tartare and sashimi platter with a mai tai is my go-to.

tight packed california rolls with king crab; where's the king crab? And try to extricate rolls from container without their falling apart.

Edible but disappointing. On-time delivery through DoorDash. $67.50 including tax, service fee, and tip; no delivery fee. Ordered four King Crab California Rolls, the usual six slices each ($7.00/roll vs $4.50 for regular surimi). Where's the crab? Barely visible in some, absent in others; if any there, it was undetectable to the taste. Rolls broke apart; they were packed so tightly that we couldn't get them out without destroying them. Two spring rolls ($5 each): Sent in closed container instead of waxed-paper baglet; they were unable to vent, so they so became soggy. Two orders shumai ($6 each): still cold in center, but at least not frozen.

We love Takara! My boyfriend and I got the combo dinner that gave us each soup, salad, fried rice, shrimp, filet mignon, scallops and chicken... SO DELICIOUS, and freshhh. This is the best spot

    Dinner time in #VeroBeach #Florida

A fast favorite of my children, we have been to Takura over a dozen times since moving to the Vero Beach area. Whether it be the hostess, our server, Hibachi chef, or the manager - it's five star service each and every time. Delicious food and huge portions, we are always taking something home. Whether it's our kids taking home some of their kids Hibachi meal (they always order Shrimp) or the parents who can never seem to finish a complete meal, dinner means guaranteed leftovers in the Lewis household. The current manager - Louis - constantly exceeds expectations. Although not a popular drink at Takura, Louis sends a staff member to Publix for fresh mint when I order that late night Mojito. Mojito is - apparently - not on the menu, but Takara has always gone out of their way to make the drink when ordered. So much so that when making reservations, I'm asked what I will be drinking upon arrival. Clean restrooms and clean restaurant. Plenty of parking and great location on U.S. 1 in Vero Beach, Florida. My ONLY suggestion when visiting Takara is to make a reservation. The place is always busy and always packed. If you do not make reservations, expect a long wait. Reservations ensure quick seating - we have never waited more than a few minutes from our actual reservation time when calling ahead. Other Japanese steakhouses do not compare to Takara in the Vero Beach area. Great Hibachi - great sushi - and an overall great experience. Five stars to Takara. /s/ William E. Mediocre. The sauce on the noodles is gross. They should eliminate them and the soup and give more meat/seafood.

It felt like you were invited into a small home, eclectically decorated, for good dining. I was immediately seated and a server brought a complimentary bowl of ginger chicken and rice soup and a small plate of delicately cut vegetables and fruit-enough to 'amuse the mouth'. I chose the sushi combo ($15.99); six pieces of fresh fish and the chef's recipe for sticky rice. It was delicious. The California roll was very good as well. A side of cubed raw fish and raw vegetables were tossed in a sweet and sour marinade. I asked for extra pickled ginger but only a small amount was sided with the wasabi. The iced tea in a tall glass was refilled and was only so-so. The chef came out for a satisfaction check and a greeting. I promised a return to sample more of the lunch and dinner selections.

I would definitely recommend the drunken noodles!

The beet salad was refreshing. The lettuce was a little wilted but not terrible. The rock shrimp pasta was flavorful and the seafood was very tender. The mashed potatoes were smooth and fluffy. It also came with a small order of bread and the cornbread pieces were great. I'm sure the dine in experience would've made everything even better.

I knew the food was going to be good because they were jam packed on a Tuesday! They have a large variety of specialty cocktails and a full bar. I enjoyed a specialty drink and then switched to prosecco. My server, Sarah, was outstanding and provided top notch service. They start you off with a yummy sweet cornbread service. I ate too much of the bread! For my meal, I started with the steak tartare and it was excellent, high quality beef. I then moved onto the chargrilled oysters which were a 1000/10! Amazing flavor... the blend of the butter and 3 cheeses was perfect! I then had the best pork chop I've ever eaten in my life. They brine it for 24 hours in a sweet tea mixture... I was thinking that would taste weird or sweet but it was neither. The chop was simply the most divine, juicy and flavorful pork chop I have ever consumed. Words can't express the deliciousness! It was 10000000/10. The chop was paired with the best grits I've ever had. I take grits seriously as a southern woman and those were magnificent. Restaurant was very clean. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The manager worked the room all night attending to guests and making sure everyone was happy. I highly recommend and will absolutely be back!!
