Well, I got an interior/exterior wash at Octopus and, of course, it snowed like 24hrs later and grubbed up my car again. The interior was still ok, so I decided to check this place out for a quick "rinse" of the outside. Like Bobby said, it's your basic automated car wash. It is NOT brushless. And, it is $5 for a basic, bare bones wash. Since I had only paid Octopus $7 for my interior/exterior wash, this seemed like a bit of a ripoff. But, it was really convenient (right on my way home from the gym and right across the street from King Soopers). It seems to me that this place could cut some of their overhead (and pass that savings on to me) by reducing their staff. I mean, really, do you need to have a guy who's sole purpose is to take your money? Don't they have machines for this? I believe this place is cash only, since I didn't see any of those Mastercard/Visa signs anywhere. So, I may hit this place up again if I find myself in the situation I was in the first time I went. But, if I really want a carwash, I'm going to pay the $7 and get the better wash at Octopus. read more

The glo wash has become my go to car wash. With the frequency of my visits, I decided to sign up for the monthly membership. You pay a bit extra but have unlimited washes and can go through their "fast lane". Although they have so many members that their fast lane is slower than the individual washes. I'm often waiting much longer than those who do not have a monthly membership. I'll see 10+ cars in the membership lane while there are only a couple in the regular line. The employees let cars go one at a time from each lane rather than allowing several cars from the membership lane go through like they used to in the past. While I'll continue being a customer, my satisfaction with the ease of being a monthly member has declined since my initial experience with this business. read more

Twice and still no luck. Attendant agreed it was still dirty and sent me through after. While I waited for the line to ease up I thought I would vacuum out my car... well tried 4 different spots and NONE of the vacuums worked they were low pressure or not working at all. This car wash used to be great. Today's visit was not good!! My car was still dirty because they put the cars too close together going through. The vacuum areas were full of trash. This must be because the vacuums don't actually suck much up so people throw it on the ground. The lot has several pot holes. One caused a car a flat tire I can only guess because they were changing out their tire. I was coming here about once a week but as of late I've been trying to find another carwash that actually cleans my car. Very disappointed! read more

I paid for the monthly unlimited "fastlane". It is NOT fast. There are two lanes that funnel into one. The monthly line is always longer and people that pay per wash get to go first. Ran through this morning at around 7:30am. No line. My vehicle was extraordinarily filthy from the mountains and (gasp) a caked on bird turd. The middle tier wash got the vehicle clean, turd removed, and dried enough so that it didn't show water streaks 10 minutes later. I didn't stop to use the included self service vacuums. I was in and out in something like 5-8 minutes. I'll be back. read more

Although I'm supposed to take my car through touch less car washes this is a great alternative. I go for the 15 dollar package which includes a free car wash within the next 3 days. The 15 dollar package comes with everything including a tire shine. After exiting the car wash there are free vacuums with an unlimited admit of time you can use them it seems like. My dog is always in my car and he definitely gets his shed on in the back. Most vacuums are unable to pick up all the hair but these do a great job and leave the car looking fresh. They are also very responsive. I took my car to get my winter tires switched up with my all season tires and they or the wrong bearings on my hubcaps. As a result my hubcaps were very loose and after I left the wash I noticed a few hours later my hubcap was missing. I called them up and at first glance they were unable to find the hubcap. About two hours later I got a call saying they had found the hubcap. I am taking off a star because the wash does not do great with bugs. I took the car through after a long road trip and realized after going through the wash all the dead bugs were still on the front bumper. They asked me to run the car again through the car wash and the bugs were still there. I had to end up taking the car to Rain Dance Car Wash where they applied a bug remover which was able to remove the bugs. Overall 3.5. Great for a fast car wash with free vacuums. read more

This place is the coolest!!! I was headed to go pick up some friends, and my car was an absolute disaster. I don't clean my care for myself, but I do it as a common courtesy for people who have to ride with me. So I was driving surface streets, convinced I would just run into a car wash eventually. Sure enough my serendipitous car adventure yielded spectacular results after passing up numerous self-serve car washes. There was no way I was going to get out of my car, get change from a quickie mart, get 5.00 worth of quarters, and then sweat my butt off washing my own car in 95 degree heat. It just wasn't going to happen. The line for this place spoke volumes about it's popularity and effectiveness, and while that could have been a bad thing like some car washes I know on broadway, this line was moving at lightning speeds! They were stacking cars on top of cars. There was less than 2 inches from my front bumper to the car in front of me.... these guys were pros for guiding us into this merry bathing car experience. Whirling brushes, frothing foam, and air dry jets that literally blow your car right off the track seduced the dirt right off my vehicle.... but wait... it gets better.... You get to vacuum your car with industrial strength carpet cleaners in the shade of their building! There's no need to sweat... this place makes it so easy. I blasted my AC, and vacuumed my car as long as I needed without running over to the machine to feed it another 1.25 in quarters. THIS PLACE WILL ROCK YOUR CAR! You know what? The more I use The Glo, the more I like it. Even when there is a huge line, it moves fast and your car gets cleaned well. It's right by my house, so it's easy for me to get both of our cars washed (1 at a time, mind you. I drive over in one, get it washed, drive home, repeat) in less than 20 minutes. They had a Living Social deal that made the washes really cheap, too. Otherwise, I always use a coupon. The free vacuums are great and pretty damn powerful. If one of the vacuums isn't working right, they remedy it immediately. All in all, it works for me. read more

I love this place! Granted, I live about 2 blocks from here, but even if it weren't in my neighborhood, The Glo would be my car wash of choice. It's reasonably priced, powerful and does a great job on my usually dirty car. The vacuums are free with the purchase of a car wash and the service can't be beat. Bought a Lexus back in December and signed up for the monthly plan as I love to keep my car clean and shiny. I had washed and waxed the car in January to keep my paint job flawless. I washed the car later that month and noticed a light scratch on my bumper when I was drying it off. Was not happy but figured it may have been a rock or something. I buffed it out as much as possible an re-waxed the car again. Our car was dirty. Then, it wasn't. And, I'm confident it's a good wash, because I got rained on later that same day despite the mere 10% chance of showers. So, obviously, it's doing what it's supposed to do. Better than a gas station car wash, not as good as one of those places where a bunch of teenagers zip around your car and wash it while you shop for greeting cards in the lobby, but somewhere right in-between. Dare I say - just right? The wash is a powerful one, the time allotted for the blow dryer was actually longer than usual, and the free vacuums you can use after the wash SUCK (and I mean that in the best way possible). Pretty happy with this experience! I checked in at arrival and there was a check-in offer for $2 off the $10 wash. Yes sir, I'll take it! (btw, that's $8 for two washes if you want to come back for a free one within three days) You stay in your car the entire time, from wash selection and payment, to driving out of the dryers. The signs say no brakes, but they should also say put your car in neutral. The attendant had to clarify that for me. Afterward you are welcome to use their free vacuums for as long as you like. Anyone that thinks this is not better than a gas station car wash is delusional. This is the best car wash I have ever been to. My WHITE Subaru was under a pine tree during a huge hail storm when I was camping this weekend. Luckily the tree kept my car from getting hail damage but left my car covered in pine tree hell. I mean the shit looked terrible, like a thousand seagulls had deposited pine filth on my car. I yelped car washes in my neighborhood and The Glo had great reviews so I headed in. The car had little pine twigs in the front crevices in the windshield and before I took my car through, the guys in the bay (who were very professional and courteous) told me to use their FREE VACUUMS that are the best of any car vacuum on the planet to clean them out first. I did not think any car wash could do much to this car as, like I said, it was in bad shape. I chose the $10 wash and not only was it the trippiest car wash ever, you'll see what I mean if you go, but the car came out looking damn good and amazingly fast.. I was floored. I stopped the car to check out the finer details and noticed a slight smudge or two that I was taking care of with my thumb and the manager Mike walked out and talked with me for a second and offered to run it through again on the house just to tighten it up! That is service! After the second round it was pristine, but like I said, I was amazed at how well the first round had worked. This car wash will undoubtedly clean any car and have it looking great, because it worked wonders for my car. User beware!! I washed my car at GLO Car Wash and was using their floor matt cleaner when their machine ate my floor matt. The workers used a screw driver to pry it out and damaged/ripped it.. I spoke with the manager and he stated they would replace the floor matt with the exact one I have from KIA now it is 3 weeks later and he is still giving me a song and dance and they have not done anything. read more

I go here probably every week if not 2x a week and it is a great car wash. Love the vacuums and air nozzle after the wash. Love that there has been some upgrades with the cover at the checkin area! Prepare yourself for a long line. Granted a FAST-moving line, but a line none the less (especially on a weekend). The line wraps around the parking lot/ I like the access to free vacuums for the inside of your car. The wash was just fine and I used the check-in for an extra couple bucks off which made the price comparable to an average gas-station car wash, but much better quality wash. Been coming here since it opened they've had issues through the years where quite often the blowers at the end with the heater in them aren't working and that's the case most of the time. other issues where I've been in line and it's broken down on me and I had to back out and leave. I mean don't get me wrong I think it's a good car wash but again today I was there and I waited in the monthly member lane and at least 12 to 15 cars went by in the other lane because they had to deal with a lady who's credit card expired and stead of just running her through and dealing with it later everybody in the member lane was ticked off anyway it seems like they have more issues than they should have but still a good car wash and I'll probably still keep going. Came here because of the reviews and I must say ..for how long it takes ..I was impressed You pull up the kid asks you what wash you want and drive onto a conveyer belt ..I disuse the unlock offer but the kid still charged me the same ( which was lame ) but whatever... My car came out pretty clean ...it's had a few water spots on the bumper .. The cool part is though that it has a three day re-wash feature with the two higher up washes so bring the receipt and you can get your car rehashed for free!! So of course I got it washes again the next day ... They have free vacuums to vacuum out your car as well... I really was impressed ... I'll definitely be back next week! This place is awsome. I will spent 10$ on a car wash. You stay in your car and drive thru then the exterior is always perfect. The wash includes a free vacuum. The have long hoses and you can spend as much time as you need to clean out the interior,of your car. And if it rains the next day, you can come here and rewash your car for free. They also offer memberships for 20$ a month. Which gives you unlimited washes. read more
