Once inside they will check to see what is the recommended tire pressure for your car. They start the work right away. They will go over anything you want to know about. Their prices are a little high but they usually have a coupon on the website, so be sure to check. This is the second time I've brought my car in and the service is fantastic! They hand you a bottle of water while you wait and I've never had to wait longer than 20 mins. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. They were not pushy in trying to upsell me on anything either. By the way, you don't have to get out of your car! You can even come back within 30 days from the date of your visit to top off your fluids. I got my oil changed and then drove down to Alabamam and swung in to see if my oil needed topped off. My last visit there was not the best. Prices were way up since the last time I was there (3 months), I was constantly getting up saled on filters and such (when I literally changed them myself), I know they didn't check my tire pressure because not only did they bring one of my tires down to 25 psi, and one of the mechanics was just a bit unprofessional. I know he might be a kid who just started, but I do not need someone there to tell me that just because I drive a manual car, that I should want to mod my car and because I haven't i 'shouldn't let life get in the way of me doing what I want'. Not only will I not tolerate that, but I will never go back to this location again. With how much I paid, it'd be cheaper for me to change it myself and I wouldn't have to deal with immature mechanics. Edit: I just wanted to update this a bit (a week after initial review). I changed my oil this last weekend, after putting in barely 30 miles on the 'oil change'. I put that in quotes because what came out of my car couldn't possibly be new oil since it was so black. I don't even think they actually changed my oil and I paid $83, I'm definitely never coming back and neither should anyone else. Just do a little research, and you can get what you need at Walmart for less than half the price of what I paid. read more

I visited Take 5 Oil Change around 6 pm on a Tuesday and was pleased the find no line. I was able to get in and out within 20 minutes. The service techs were so kind and offered me a wide variety of options on oil without making me feel incompetent. The guys really explained my options well while providing reasons why these options were best for my vehicle. The tech also installed new windshield wipers for me and showed me the air filter and assured me that it wasn't necessary to get changed right now. If you visit the website they offer coupons for oil changes and 25% for ride-share drivers. I highly recommend Take 5 if you need a quick and efficient oil change. read more

They should change their name to Takes Forever. We waited in line for over an hour at Bay 1. The day shift guy was eating skittles while Bay 2 and 3 moved twice as many cars through as him. By the time we pulled into Bay 1 our baby was crying hysterically and we were informed a good portion of their employees walked out last week. read more

The amount of customer service and friendliness at any Take 5 I've been to is such a breath of fresh air. The staff is so welcoming. Be careful!!! These guys scam and take advantage of people. We sent our 16 yr old there to get an oil change on his 2013 and they upgraded him to the most expensive oil change package without his consent and charged him for an air filter which I know for a fact he didn't need because he got one 3 months ago at his last oil change. He only use his car to go to school and practice. HORRIBLE!!!! Dont trust them, will never go to them again! read more

I love this place! I will definitely return for my oil changes in the future. I didn't have to wait long and they got me right in. I never had to leave my vehicle and they had me in and out. The checked all of my fluids and topped them off as well. The thing I really like is the have a policy that allows you to return anytime within 3 months to top off any fluid that needs it. I tend to run out of wiper fluids and forget to refill it. With the program they have I would just stop by and they would top me off for free. I love it! Just took my car here because it was acting funny and making a weird noise did not know what was wrong, but knew that the car hadn't had an oil change in a minute so I took it in to take five oil change on Michigan Road. When I got there the manager had made sure that he took a good look at the car while he was doing the oil change and he ended up figuring out and tell me exactly what was wrong with and where to take it. This was a huge help because I've taken the car to mechanic shops and they couldn't tell me what was wrong but in less then 5 mins these guys knew!! read more

I have been changing my oil at this location for a long time until today. first, I discovered there were new employees I have not seen before. One of the employees came out and asked me to release my hood which I did. He opened my hood and then closed it back. He then asked me to drive in. When I got in, I noticed they were trying to open the hood back up but the guy was battling with opening the hood because he didn't know how to unlock it. He finally broke the latch. I heard the guy who opened it before saying he just opened it. So they basically rallied around themselves to say it broke before I came in and I told them that wasn't true. I didn't have any problem with the hood latch release before now. I told them to go ahead and change my oil so I can leave. At a time, I wasn't worried because things happens. But the guy who was attending to me started having serious attitude and decided he wasn't going to change my oil and even threatened me. Another of the employee jumped quickly to open their garage door for me to leave. I kept saying to them, all I needed is to have my oil change and they said they would not change and that I have to leave. It is such a terrible experience at this location and their management should look into the kind of people they hire to serve customers. These guys where really badly behaved. I will never go to any Take five oil again and will ask everyone I know to do the same. read more

So I usually change my own oil, but I recently moved into a shared space with a garage full of stuff so I decided to try this place out, because why not? For starters, when you pull up they give you a free cold bottle of water and a snack size candy which was a nice treat! The crew is very friendly and understanding. Charlie was the assistant manager working the computer and the one who was talking to me. He was awesome! Everybody knows exactly what they're doing and nobody is snarky or trying to rip you off. I brought in my own oil and filter and the price for the labor is pretty reasonable in my opinion ($26.99). I was in and out in less than 10 minutes! I'm not much of a car guy so I really appreciate them checking some of the other fluid levels, the air filter, and airing up any low tires for free. I've had my oil changed there 3 times . The first 2 went well. The 3rd experience was one not to be forgotten. I have a very nice Camaro . This was the vehicle I took there. Everything seemed to be ok at first. They did the oil change. My warrantee covers half the costs . That was easy enough to get done. I had a large trip the next day and wanted to get the oil change done before the trip. I paid $115 Ish for the oil change upon completion and drive home.(3 miles). The next day I left home and made it to My destination (116 miles). I went back and forth from my hotel two times (10 miles) . On the 3rd day I went 1.5 miles and low oil light came on. I immediately pulled over. There was not a drop of oil in my car. I had it towed to my place of employment just a few miles away. I called Take 5. They were very nice on this call. They apologized for my situation, and said they would be happy to help, but said I would need to speak to a manager . I called back 3 times. When I finally reached the manager, he told me it was my problem and to have a Nice day. I explained exactly how far I had driven the car and they basically told be to go to hell. My engine is destroyed. My warrantee will not cover it because they say Take 5 is responsible. So I am expected to cough up $11000 to ya e a new motors placed in my Camaro and then sue Take 5. Lesson leaned that I am better off changing my own oil. People are shady and these folks are the kings. Their techs have absolutely zero experience . Don't make the mistake I did and trust them with my most loved possession. I would not allow them to put a drop of oil in my lawn mower. read more

They got the oil change done and everything extremely quick but when I went to start the car again it wouldn't turn on and they helped me trouble shoot the issues on why it wouldn't start and still wouldn't start. So they pushed a large van to a parking space and then just out of a crazy circumstance. I locked the keys in the van. We all had a good laugh out of the inconveniences that have happened and they called an non emergency number for me to help me get the keys again.
