What I appreciate about Valvoline is I've never felt pressured to purchase a service. I also was able to meet the acting area manager, Pedro. I once took my car to a convenient cheap for an Oil Change and afterwards the car was leaking oil. Months later, quarts dripping out, taking my car to my favorite mechanic. I learned that the cheap Oil Change place hadd lost the washer (a fifty cent part) for the oil cap! So this is why I drove out of my way. First, the guys at this shop were honest, knowledgeable and car lovers. I met the manager, who's kind of this straight shooting guy, tells you like it is and jokes around a bit. I got a real good feel for the place and seeing the price for a tire rotation ($36), I had them do that as well. They checked the car and noticed the brakes were running low. I already knew this, but still it's a good that they saw this. If I had the time, I'd have changed my breaks there, but I had to get on the road. But no call from manager or heads up at 1:00pm of possible delay or failure of completion. New Location needs to work on Customer and Communication Skill regarding turnaround time with customers) I cannot send Meineke a check with a note hidden at the bottom to pay a portion next week after we agreed to same day payment for service rendered in all other communication prior. The lack of one call changed my entire experience and caused a large inconvenience in my personal and professional life.

Turns out, the last shop that did our oil change didn't properly seal the oil filter housing cap, which caused oil to leak all over the engine. Jesse diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, cleaned up the spilled oil, and topped us off with new oil. All at a very fair price.
