My first time getting my oil changed and replacing the wiper blades was in June 2024 the service was great I was in/out in 10 minutes so, I decided to come back 6 months later the lines were long. I waited for 30 minutes the staff seem overwhelmed, frustrated and it was 3 people working on my vehicle. I had a $25 & $10 coupons neither one was sent to my email or phone until after I had left the shop. The staff were not willing to accommodate the $25 coupon. My wiper blades on one side are bad and need to be replaced. I was told the only way they would replace it if I had the receipt. I talked to Ray and he refused to honor the $25 coupon and replace the wipers. Ray called the police saying that I refused to pay which I didn't I wanted Ray's name so I could call corporate in him and the young lady that assisted me. At 1:26pm (2 minutes after I left) I received the text message from take 5 with coupon attached...the whole ordeal was unnecessary so I notified corporate! I will never return to any of Take 5 locations. read more

Only place I trust to help me out with my oil change. I've gone to many luxury places in my lifetime such as 5 star Michelin resteraunts in Paris and Italy. You might know how they are great at presentation? I feel the same quality when coming here. They showed me my oil level what everything was going into my car was was getting taken out, they recommended new things I needed and were happy to apply a discount even when I didn't personally have one. I've never had a bad experience at a take 5 and thus location is no different. This is the best bang for your buck you can receive. The prices were low and I knew they weren't going to uncharge me on something I didn't ask for. read more

Went in for a simple oil change. They said they needed to change the coolant which led to major issues with the engine. Unless you have $1000 to burn to get your car towed then fixed after taking it to this Take 5 STAY AWAY! The mechanics do not know what they are doing and will damage your car. No one in management returned calls. The car was towed to their other business down the street to be repaired. So they damage the engine then tow it to their repair shop to be repaired. We decided to pay for another tow to a mechanic that we knew and trusted. He said it was clear that the Take 5 staff damaged the engine. Total scam! read more

We could all use some kindness right now. I'm so grateful to have been treated so well at Take 5. My vehicle's registration sticker was about to expire and I had no idea what the process to get this renewed would be during COVID. After a quick search on Texas.gov's website, I was directed to a few convenient locations to get my car inspected. I've driven passed Take 5 Oil Change multiple times; I usually get my oil changed at the Honda dealership for consistency. So I was interested to see how this inspection experience would be. The staff at Take 5 went above and beyond their way to ensure an efficient state inspection for my car. From the second we pulled in, the service team gave us an estimated time of 10 minutes (a blessing!) to get the inspection done and that we could wait inside while they were working. We were in and out in no time and the female mechanic who worked on my car even put 2 cold bottles of water in my car's cup holders for my husband and I. It was about 95 degrees outside so the gesture really meant a lot. Greatly appreciate the speedy service and the kind customer service from every single one of the staff at Take 5 on Greenville. What a lovely group of employees! I took my husbands car to get the oil changed and we found a coupon for this place which is super close to our house making life easy. I was able to stay in the car for the whole thing which took about 15 minutes. They changed the oil and the air filter but didn't push anything unnecessarily. Super unfortunate. I have gone to Take 5 for years and have always recommended to everyone I know! It's always been the most lovely place. Today I went for my free oil top off (per the take 5 sticker on my car!) and a woman informed me that Take 5 doesn't service my car (a VW) and I said that isn't true because I have been going here for years and she can see my sticker. She said that they have never serviced my type of car and no Take 5 location would ever service my car and anyway was very rude about it. Obviously she just didn't want to help me today. This location has changed management and clearly not as good as the other locations. I recommend going to a different Take 5 until they get this sorted. read more

I liked to Take 5 Oil Change. I drove up to the business and only waited for a little over ten minutes before getting serviced. I opted for their best five-star oil (synthetic), and they said I wouldn't have to change if I add 15,000 more miles to my car. The staff wore masks, and I love how they employ veterans. (Semper fi!) A few other things: - They could do a better job providing all of the options at the beginning of the service instead of asking for additional add-ons later. (It comes off as sales-y. - It set me back close to $150 for their best oil change. - I also got my windshield wipers replaced for $50. (They have two kinds.) I'll return in the future! read more

I don't enjoy doing anything that has to do with my car because I'm afraid of being hustled. I've been to several take 5 locations and haven't been impressed with the service. This was by far the best location I've been to. They were quick, educated me, and professional. I got an oil change and had my tires filled in under 25 minutes. Excellent! Popped in for an oil change as I was running errands, so I appreciated not needing an appointment - and not having to leave my car! I went at about 2PM on a Saturday and had one car ahead of me. Once it was my turn, I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Everyone was friendly and efficient! They do state inspections, too! I think it's just one person qualified to do it, though, so maybe call ahead to make sure they're there. And check online for coupons, too! They have a few available plus discounts for selected groups. Will be back for future oil changes! read more

The team immediately greeted me, pulled me into a bay, and confidently suggested options for oil change service based on my unique vehicle make, model, and mileage. All around I was pleased with the service and am only dropping a star because I ended up waiting over 40 minutes for the oil change to be completed which seemed a bit slow based on prior experience and given the fact that I was already in the bay. Came here the other day for a quick oil change not too long ago and this place was super quicK and getting me in and out. I was immediately given a water bottle when I drove up which I thought was nice. I pulled into the garage and they worked on my car and got done within 20 minutes. I appreciate the convenience of this place. I did feel like the lady I worked with was laughing at me because I wasn't super aware of the car terminology and things about my car. DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGE DONE WITH ANY TAKE 5 OIL CHANGE. On 8/31/19 I went to this establishment to get state inspection and got oil change as well. 2 hrs after oil change was done my car would not accelerate and began to have a loud knocking sound. I got car towed to mechanic and was informed that the incorrect oil was put into my car and may have caused issue with knock sensor and engine. I did verify on my receipt that the incorrect oil was put inside My car take 5W/20 and they put in 5W/30. Long story short I had to get a new engine. I notified customers service and the shop manager DAN CORCIONE. Was told by the shop manager that my car could take 5W/30. Which is untrue, my car manual states 5W/20 and this is reflected on oil cap as well. I NEVER put anything besides 5W/20 in my car with prior oil changes. Informed manger that if someone would have told me that they were going to put in 5W/30 instead of the 5W/20 listed I would NOT have gotten my oil change done. I received an email from manger on 9/4/19 stating that they send me a refund for oil with 7-10 business and have received NOTHING!!! I've attempted to reach back out to manger and corporate and NO ONE has contacted me regarding my issue. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and a claim with my credit card company regarding refund. I'm out so much more money than a oil change and they won't even give my money back for their mistake. read more

Came in without an appointment, as allowed. Requested the synthetic blend, but I have no idea if they were honest about it because of the lack of honest service that I paid for - and didn't receive. I know all of these things to be true because I sat in my vehicle while it was being serviced. They did NOT check my tire pressure. They did NOT check my transmission fluid. They topped off my coolant with plain water (not green coolant mix). They topped off my windshield washer solution with plain water. They spilled oil around the fill hole while filling it (which is at the top of the engine, and very easy to access), but didn't wipe it off, so it's now smoking and burning off. They left greasy palm prints on my fender (didn't wipe them off). They did NOT honor my $10 Off coupon, which I showed him on my phone. In general, everyone's attitude there was "so what". Went there to get a transmission fluid change, oil change, coolant, and air in my tires and the only thing they did was charger me $130 for windshield wiper fluid. I could visually see that they didn't know what they were doing and I gave them an opportunity To admit they couldn't do it yet they continued I lie and say they did their job.
