    I don't typically leave one-star reviews, but I'm very disappointed with my experience. I had an oil change done here, and right after leaving, I noticed part of my oil pan shield hanging underneath my vehicle. It looks like the shield wasn't properly secured and that some bolts or fasteners were not reinstalled. This should have been thoroughly inspected. Now I'm left with a loose piece dangling under my vehicle.

    Writing this review due to wanting them to improve not bash the shop. I've met the owner and he seems to be a solid dude. So this review is not to knock the shop but hopefully fix an issue. I've been coming here for an about a year now and this is the second time I've had to turn around and come back due to oil leaking out onto my garage floor. The techs that worked on my vehicle were Allen and Caleb. When I returned this morning the tech that fixed the issue was General he said that they left oil in the pan and a bad clean up job it leaked out but my oil was holding. I don't know if that happens but whatever it is should not happen if we're ensuring quality work.

    Interesting new way to have an oil change for your vehicle. Super nice staff here in El Grove Location , fast and efficient without missing quality parts and service. Greeted by General , very cordial and nice gentleman and as I observe , a very hard working young man . I think he's the crew leader in this location. I hope they open more service like this around the Sacramento metropolitan area

    Been needing an oil change for a while, and when I got this coupon in the mail, I decided to check out Take 5. Kevin and the guys were courteous, and knowledgeable. I have a cabin air filter that's buried behind my glove box, and they knew exactly how to get to it. I'll definitely come back for my next oil change. Thanks guys

    The service was fast and welcoming. Felt like I was at home with people I knew. The two individuals working on my truck went over and beyond making sure things were safe and fun. Emmanual and Ben were my crew. Appreciate both of them and will definitely return because of Emmanuel's jokes and Ben's courtesy. Thanks gentlemen. My Suburban is good to go. So is my dog.

Juan offered to look at the issues I was told by the dealership I had. Some of the items the dealer said I needed Juan was upfront and said it wasn't necessary or could wait. He agreed with a few issues (brake pads was #1) and two other items he will address next week. Once I left the business, I felt a sigh of relief. I didn't feel played or taken advantage of. Juan never rushed me and explained things in a way I understood. I appreciate him and his staff. I just got my brake pads done today and next week, he will complete the other items. His quote was fair--I would say below market rate--and reasonable. After the repairs, he showed me exactly what was done under the hood and where the new part was placed. I've never met a more honest, knowledgeable, and trustworthy professional in the industry--I've been to many! This is now my new go-to auto shop. The O'Reilly auto parts store down the street told me to come here after I first went to the Toyota dealership who wanted me to wait 4 hours just to diagnose my old battery and Les Schwab told me they ended up not having the battery I needed after waiting before they even looked at my car. I called here while driving from O'Reilly and was immediately placed on hold for almost 10 minutes before they finally talked to me. I was already in their parking lot by the time they answered and they told me there was no wait to get my battery diagnosed and/or replaced so I parked and went inside. Man that was a mistake in hindsight. What was said to be no wait ended up taking roughly 2 hours total. It felt like others who came in after me for oil changes and other services were getting served faster than me while I had what I thought was just a simple battery diagnosis and replacement. They also kept telling other people over the phone they had no wait and they should be in and out within 30-45 minutes. They gave me a 30 minute quote after replacing the battery as well to make sure everything was good which felt even longer than that. I also noticed when I got home there was a brown looking spot on the battery label. From what I researched it could be an anti corrosive material and is normal or it could be a potential leak if it spreads so I'm really hoping that it doesn't already have a slow leak. Overall, from this experience alone, I honestly can't say that I'll be back anytime soon unless my new battery suddenly starts having issues while under warranty. The price was also not great at $270 for a battery that may not last as long as my original battery from when I bought my car roughly 6.5 years ago. While I'm glad they were able to see me on short notice and replaced my battery, I felt like it took an unnecessarily long time for what seemed like a quick fix. I'm mostly just upset that I was quoted no wait as I was on the phone in their parking lot then spent nearly 2 hours which ended up in me having to cancel certain plans.

I took my car here yesterday for two new tires. In the past two months my car had already been to a tire shop and looked at by a family member, and also to the dealership to get a recalled piece replaced. So I already knew of any and all issues with my car due to the first tire shop visit and the Ford dealership visit. After getting my tires, the employees gave me a list of "issues" that needed to be addressed on my car. Stating that one of the issues was $1200 and needed to be taken care of immediately, but I had a grand total of $2,000 worth of issues. Again, they didn't know I had already sent my car to another tire shop and the Ford dealership within the last 2 months where no one ever stated these issues with my car but they had told me what did need to be done, and they were consistent with each other. Immediately when I got home from big o tires, I had my cousin who works at the tire shop I initially sent my car to to check my car for the issues big o said I had. He did not find any of them. The only reason I didn't keep my car at my cousins shop was because it was more expensive than big o, but at least they don't lack integrity and were honest about my issues. The big o tires employees were trying to get me, a girl who walked in by herself and knows little to anything about cars, out of $2,000 when nothing was wrong with my car. They lack integrity and shouldn't get another dime. I absolutely do not recommend. Update 2 months later: my car has been leaking ever since it was serviced here. My car had ZERO leakage prior to bringing it here. So disappointing

I finally started hearing and feeling a difference in the car. It would drive feeling like the car was floating, so I knew it was time to address my struts and shocks. I got a few quotes around town and Les Schwab quote was lower by a $1000! YES = $1000+ lower, especially $1000+ lower than the original service place who noted noise coming from my struts. Made an appointment for noon and left the car early because I didn't need the car and the wife was able to drive me back home. They finished my car before closing (6pm); I would have been out earlier but the technician didn't notify the front staff that my car was actually done (was waiting in their lobby starting around 5pm). Paid for my service and off I go! Car drives without road noise and handles pot holes and bumps like a champ again! I'll do a follow up review if necessary, but for now my 11 year old minivan feels younger!

Shortly after the repair, I went to my dealership for a routine oil change, and they informed me that the brake pads had been installed incorrectly. They recommended I take the car back to the shop that performed the work. When I returned, I spoke with the woman at the front desk, who brought out a mechanic (I'm not sure if it was the same one who did the original brake job). I explained what the dealership told me and even showed him a video the dealership took of my brakes. He watched the video but insisted everything was installed correctly and made no effort to recheck or reinstall the brakes as shown in the video. At that point, I left, trusting his word. About two weeks later, my front brakes started squeaking whenever I braked. I took the car to Les Schwab to have it checked. They kept the car for a bit and then told me nothing was wrong. Months later, I returned to my dealership for service to replace my bushings. When they removed the front tires, they discovered that the lug bolts were loose and the securing bolt had not been replaced--on both sides. This was the actual cause of the noise I had been hearing all along. Once again, the dealership provided a video clearly showing the issue, which they said should be shown to the mechanic who performed the brake work. At this point, I have zero confidence in this company or its mechanics/technicians. The mistakes made were serious and safety-related, and my concerns were dismissed when I first brought them up. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The vehicle would need a new engine, but, I was told, my car was part of an extensive recall that extended the warranty to 15 years/150,000 miles. My car was 10 years old with about 57,000 miles. "You will probably qualify," the AAA mechanic told me. This all went down on a Friday afternoon. AAA had no problem holding the car over the weekend so I could arrange another tow to the dealership on Monday. There's no doubt their written assessment of the car's engine seizure and printout of the warranty extension, which I presented to the dealership, helped make my successful case for a warranty repair. They quoted me for two new rear tires, which I agreed to, and it took a few days since the tires had to be ordered. When I picked up my car, I immediately got a warning that the rear passenger tire was low. I assumed it might just need time to recalibrate, but after driving only about 5 miles home, I checked and it was at 14.9 PSI. Since they were closed, I added air myself. By the next morning, the tire had dropped again, clearly a slow leak. When I called, Jerry told me I must have run over a nail. I explained that the tire was already low when I left their shop. After pushing the issue, they agreed to replace the tire--but refused to reimburse me for a rental car, even though this was caused by their mistake. Fast forward to now--I went to America's Tire to check my front tires, and they told me the rear passenger tire is a different tire than the others. I never authorized mismatched tires, especially after paying for two new ones. This whole experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Between the initial issue, lack of accountability, and now discovering mismatched tires, I have no trust in their work. Buyer beware--this shop does not stand behind what they do.
