9611 Auto Center Dr. Elk Grove CA *** WORST SERVICE EVER *** I took my car to get an oil change. Supervisor Klarissa N. ???? assisted me. The question marks are behind her name because her service was very poor, tacky, and unprofessional. Klarissa N. needs to attend training or be demoted she lacks customers service and supervisor skills. Klarissa N. brought my filters in she suggested I replace them, I told her not today. Klarrissa N. got upset she went out to my car and put the filter in my passenger seat. When I got in my car the seat had dust/dirt visible, it look like a small plant spilled in my seat. Klarissa didn't vacuum or clean my seat after she placed the filter in my seat. I would never go back to this Jiffy Lube nor recommend their services as long as Klarissa N. works there. read more

a1 service took about about 1.5 hrs on weekend. Cost a little over $117. Surprising because I thought it wouldn't be so expensive just for an oil change and tire rotation. However, They did get it done and service was good. They also have a wider range of hours than the dealership I go to, which is a tremendous plus for convenience. read more

I got an oil change here. Once I bright it home I noticed a puddle of oil. I brought it back. Turns out the gasket on my drain plug broke. Usually happens when it's over tightened. I was told by the worker that it was normal wear and tear. My car is only 4 years old, that shouldn't have happened. I asked to be made whole since my driveway not has a major stain. I was told they could provide me with a stain remover. They needed to contact "corporate" and I would get a call as well as a refund. It's been since 10/29. We are now at 11/23. Haven't heard from anyone. My next step is to file with the BBB. I had to miss work to bring my car back during hours of operation. If they would have reasonably followed up with my issue, I would have been able to confidently say "yes" to recommendations. I totally get people make mistakes but I would have appreciated someone correcting it. read more

I come here typically every 3-6 months to get an oil change. They have deals/ specials sometimes on oil changes that seem to fall on when I need an oil change - so it feels like a win-win. The workers are professional and proficient. It is a good value for the services provided. read more

My aunt got her car done here and let me tell you I've never had a bad experience there until now. Don't get your car serviced by Jack or Mario. Mario and Luigi don't know what they're doing clearly. I came home and there was oil dripping and all over my driveway. Are they gonna come clean it up? I don't think so. They didn't have the best service there this time around no smile or nothing. We made our two and a half hour trip to Elk Grove without a hitch, except for the fact my oil light came on right at the turn off from the 99 freeway and Elk Grove Blvd. Lucky for me, Jiffy Lube is right off of the freeway and we drove in without a wait. A really nice gentleman topped off the oil and because I am a Jiffy Lube patron, no charge. His crew checked all of the fluids and the tires. The tires were overinflated, so they took care of that as well. Nice to have the consistency of service and the convenience of the franchise when navigating in uncharted waters (or in this case, uncharted freeways). Thanks Jiffy Lube! read more

I've never been to such a thorough jiffy lube. The one I always go to never vacuums my car, checks air filter, opens the door for me, etc. It was so refreshing! After visiting Jiffy Lube in Elk Grove, I was asked by them to complete an on-line survey. There was no one egregious issue, but rather, a small litany of minor issues. Here's a cut and paste of my response... I'll start by saying, I never, and I mean NEVER, leave negative reviews. I will eagerly leave positive reviews, if that's been my experience. But since you asked... My wife and i have been going to this Jiffy Lube location for years- with the three vehicles we own. It's always gone well- until this visit. I will say, the staff seemed pleasant. So, that's a positive. 1. The first surprise was I was not allowed to choose the oil viscosity. The staff said they had to go by some guidance, and there were no options. (Previously, I could select from a menu of oils / viscosity.) This, by itself, is not that big of a deal. But I really wanted a slightly higher viscosity oil for my car. This knocked off a star... 2. When they were done, the rep took me to the car to show me the oil level. Great. Then she closed the hood and said have a nice day (or something similar.) But I noticed the hood was not closed- so I closed it. She noticed and apologized. But this is a safety issue, and she should know to check, and ensure the hood is actually closed before walking away. This knocked off another star... 3. So I get seated in the car, fasten the belt, and the key wasn't in the vehicle. I had to track down the rep and she started a search for the key. Quickly found. No big deal. This did not knock off a star. I'll repeat, no big deal. 4. I was told the windows had been washed, and the carpets vacuumed. Honestly, I could not care less about this- I just needed an oil change. But very obviously, neither service had been done. So why tell me, and document that this had been done? Further, the windshield was MUCH WORSE (somehow!!) than when I drove in! I guess they must have sprayed something on the surface to test the wipers. So, it was clear where the wiper removed the "stuff," but a terrible cloud was blocking significant vision everywhere else out the windshield. I drove about 2 miles to my office, where I took a microfiber cloth and some glass cleaner to scrub away whatever it was they applied to the windshield. This knocked off a star. But really, it should have knocked off more than that- it left me a bit pissed. (And I'm an easy going guy!!) This experience has turned me off to Jifffy Lube. No coupon or discount will ever bring me back. Sorry to say it. I might, in a few years, go back, hoping new management / procedures are in effect. But this was a real disappointment. And, after documenting all of this for you, I'm tempted to copy and paste it over to Yelp, to warn others... Again, sorry to say it. Peter in Elk Grove read more

This is my first time utilizing a "fast" oil change company. Jesus greeted me right away and advised me it would be 45-60 minutes as there were several vehicles ahead. No problem. I needed to get it done for my wife was going to be traveling the next day and had gone over 1,000 miles since her last oil change. The manager-John, I think, greeted me and brought me into the waiting area and began putting the order together. NOT once did I feel I was being up sold on any product nor pressured. They simple gave me options based upon my vehicle. The same type service I get from EG Ford- except more appreciative and personal. They got me in and out in 45 minutes. If you need the services they offer then this location is a great choice. Oil changed, changed my air filter, topped of my fluids, cleaned the glass, and aired the tires properly. The price was $80.00 after a discount for veterans. Well worth it! read more

Came in for oil change on my Sequoia. As usual they upsold me to have differential fluid change. Front, rear, and transfer case. I agreed since they were last ones to do it and I typically do not go under the car and inspect things. They told me today that the rear differential is stripped and had difficulty servicing. Either they stripped it during this service and lied to me about it or the last time it was also serviced at Jiffy Lube they stripped it and didn't tell me. Really sad that a proper job cannot be done in todays world. Since Customnot allowed to watch the servicing happen, I start to question what else they are not being honest about. Update: They did make effort and sent me to different Jiffy Lube shop where they fixed the stripped plug at no cost. An A for effort. read more

I drive to this place and wait for an oil change. After about an hour they manager, Robert Acosta, comes out and says, 'Sorry, our tool broke and we can't do your oil change. Come back next week and I'll give you a discount'. I wait a week and go back. I wait 2.5 hours for a $55 oil change that I could have had in many other places for less than $40. I remind him of our previous week discount conversation and he agrees to give me the $10 discount coupon that I already had from the week before they screwed up my oil change. I had a great experience here getting my oil changed and fluids topped off for my SUV. I typically go to the dealership for services but the wait time is ridiculous. I was greeted right away and checked in by a friendly woman named Kimberly she was informative , knowledgeable and had a pleasant demeanor. The wait time was less than 1 hr. I was able to use coupons I had acquired from the company website and Kimberly informed of other offers as well. I'll definitely be returning for future services. It is also conveniently located by Starbucks, Walmart and other stores that are walking distance. read more

This will be my last trip here. I have been coming to this location for years but not after today. I pulled up to the car that was currently in the bay. In other words I was next in line for the isle I was in. I have now been sitting here for an hour and a half for a simple oil change. I expect I'll be here for at least another half hour as my car just got pulled in. I'll try one other Jiffy lube for next time and if it's like this then I'm going to give up on the franchise. Do not go here some of the workers do not do there job correctly. I came to get a simple oil change my car was completely fine in fact a new car that I just got and they changed my oil and than the oil spilt out on the same day I got my oil changed and all the oil spilt out and blew my engine now I'm a 23 year old girl that has no car just because of a simple oil change...... I went through much heartache and they did nothing about it. Got to the location had to wait five minutes for the service specialist Isaiah to get out of the bathroom, meanwhile the two employees in the garage were looking around helpless all of us having to stare at each other. Isaiah finally came out, just selected the oil type without asking (I was planning on switching to high mileage) and had me sign the work order while he was still sitting in my front seat and said "you can go inside." This may seem like a normal interaction, but I've been a loyal Jiffy Lube customer for 14 years now and I know the customer service is usually exemplary, and this was quite subpar in comparison. read more

*update my engine needs to be replaced. Jiffy lube reached out and goes on to tell me my oil can sensor popped up on my dash bc I was only low one quart. They aren't going to do anything because their "records" reflect they've done nothing wrong. Of course they reflect nothing was done on their part, the manager at jiffy lube was denying any fault before he even looked at my car. I have taken my cars to this location for oil changes and servicing for about 10 years, with the exception of taking to the dealership a handful of times for an oil change. The service has always been amazing, I've raved to everyone I know about the incredible service. However, I will never take my car to a Jiffy Lube again. After my most recent visit, I started having issues with my car and after 1,300 miles between visits (it had been a few weeks, but I stopped driving my car for 2 of the weeks bc i knew something was wrong and I'd need to have it serviced). Anyways, after driving 1,300 miles the oil can popped up on my dash saying I was low/out of oil. I stopped by jiffy lube on my way home to address the issue and the experience couldn't have been worse. The technician checked my oil and said it was so low he wasn't getting a reading on the stick and would need to get his manager before doing anything. I let him know I would have to leave for a work meeting in 45 mins and would need to be quick. The manager comes to my car and I let him know I have a work meeting, he starts telling me I'm lucky he's helping now bc I should be waiting in line. Then proceeds to mansplain to me that "you know these cars are notorious for burning oil quickly". I tell him there is not a chance that is the case here, as I've never had this issue before and I didn't have issues until after my oil change. He continues to blame me and the car before checking the oil. Then tells me it's low and he will give me ONE quart of oil and sends me on my way. I called a mechanic after leaving and told them the issues I was having, they have advised me to have the car towed there and not to drive it. Especially since jiffy lube only added one quart of oil when it was so low. It's unfortunate that after being a loyal customer all these years, they couldn't take the time to address the problem in an appropriate manner. Jed was prompt, enforced social distancing, and very thorough with telling me the services needed and transparent with the options I had. I had to drop off my car but Jed contacted me to make sure I was ok with any additional services needed that wasn't in my original estimate. Friendly staff no wonder they're always so busy! This place is my go to.. but today, I asked for no tire rotation, and he clicked yes... he went back to check after I brought it up, then he unchecked it. I then had a tech come ask me for my wheel key................ I told him I did not want a tire rotation. I'm looking at my estimate, I was also charged for 2 oil filters. Now I'm not sure if he was just rushing, or because I am a female, or just the lack of communication, but why are you charging me for 2!?! I have used Jiffy Lube services to change my cars oil fir years. It's always great customer service, quick and the employees are very helpful and informative. But this location my experience was very different. First the guy who came to the car was rather off putting and not very knowledgeable. He said the wait would be over 1.5hr and then had me moving my van around while another van moved in front of my rig. There location is very small and moving my van was rather uncomfortable. I decided to give my business to another company that answers my questions, makes the transition easy and help me make good choices so I can keep my rig running great! This location and their customer service was NOT a good match for me. read more

I went to get my car serviced and was a little taken back of how this guy Zach to say the least very rude. I went out back to smoke a cigarette on a bench, and I could hear him swearing about how a customer shook his filters in the lobby. This young man is a joke. He apparently has no customer service skills whatsoever. He then came to me a said I needed filters wipers and coolant, I had them replaced from the last service. They just want to sell you the same products every time I come in. Beware of them they try to take advantage of people. read more
