I think that was a one off thigh, because i had always had a pleasant experience there before. Due to my less than stellar visit, I put in a very detailed and wordy complaint. No one reached out to me, so I had to go another route which got me a call, but Yoon returning the call, I never got another call back! I had forgotten about my issues at hand and it was brought back to my attention that issues were never resolved! I reached out online and was told someone would contact me within 48 business hours. I actually got a call first thing the next morning, phenomenal! I spoke with Tommy, who oversees multiple locations and we talked about my previous issues and he told me to come in for a free diagnostic, and we'd take it from there. I got my diagnostic done and they found one problem that was causing one of my two issues I've been experiencing. They had to order a part for me that wouldn't arrive until 330, so they did to just come back and it should only take 15-20 minutes. The estimate was right on point! All the gentlemen in the location were very nice and informative, and i have nothing but good things to say of them all. I was told of a couple of other things I may want to take care of, and i will be taking care of them at this location going forward. Considering the gasket itself costs around $30, the final bill felt extremely overpriced, especially since I was never given a clear breakdown that justified the cost. What concerns me even more is that I was told this repair was related to fixing my ABS sensor problem. After scanning the vehicle, I don't understand how an oil filter housing gasket would reasonably be diagnosed as the cause of an ABS warning issue. The repair did not fix the ABS problem at all. I was upfront that my main request was to have the work completed within 24 hours. I was informed there would be a $100 rush fee, which I accepted. However, I'm still left wondering where the remaining $620 in charges came from and why the pricing was so high for the work performed. I understand that labor and diagnostics cost money, but customers deserve transparent explanations, accurate diagnoses, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case here. Based on my experience, I would recommend that anyone considering this shop ask for a detailed estimate and explanation of the diagnosis before approving repairs.
