The service was great (I really liked the guy that helped me), but I solely wouldn't go back here again based on the fact that it took so long. Call first for pricing! They sent me a $25 coupon for any oil change. Price was fair, compared to other places in the area. Issue I have though is the price quoted on the phone was a good bit lower than what they have posted on site. I mentioned that to the guy working and the response was that "our prices just went up". Came to this location on a sleepy weekday afternoon. The staff were really nice and courteous but you can tell they're almost literally burnt out from the 90+ degree heat outside. Take 5 prides themselves for quick oil changes and the names suggest of 5 minute oil changes. Even their slogan "The Stay in Your Car, 10 Minute Oil Change" is showing the level of speed and efficiency. However my experience lasted 35 minutes despite it being only 2 cars deep. I understand going through a whole checklist of safety and visual inspections and doing the job right takes time. The staffers were great but I suppose corporate isn't' doing their front line any favors by advertising quick service and for patrons receiving longer than expected service times. read more

Two times in a row, for two different cars, just three months apart, I've shown up for a state emissions inspection only to be told "our emissions inspector isn't here today." The second time I asked when he actually works, and was told "it's hard to say, he's also our shop manager, so he bounces around here and there." Really??? You only have one person qualified to do emissions inspections? You don't need a PhD to become a qualified emissions inspector, it's only a $25 fee, a written test, and a short practical exam. There's really no reason EVERY one of your employees should be qualified to perform emissions inspections. Do better. read more

I went in to get an oil change on 7/11/2026 and the technicians were unable to complete it. I was told that the bolt to my oil pan was free spinning but it wasn't leaking. Before leaving for a 300 mile trip I stopped by my mechanic to make sure that it wasn't leaking and that ended up being an $800 repair to get my oil pan replaced because it had been stripped. I have only ever gotten my oil change done at Take 5 in the 4 years I have owned my vehicle. When I returned to the store on 7/12/26 the manager was unwilling to offer any solution and rudely told me that I could leave my number and someone might get back to me but he won't go back and forth with me. I am extremely disappointed not only in my service, which resulted in an expensive repair, but also the customer service that I received when trying to ask how to file a claim with Take 5. read more

He was extremely helpful, honest, and took the time to explain everything clearly so I understood what was going on with my car. The work was done efficiently and professionally. I arrived, requested a state inspection for my car, and was directed to one of the empty bays. I waited 30 minutes, but no one came to start the service. Other cars arrived behind me, and they were served immediately. Since no one even came to say anything to me, I started the car and left. read more

Decided to check this place out. As far as price, you're probably pay around 80 dollars minimum for an oil change if your car takes synthetic. Pretty much same around the same ballpark for other places. Walmart is cheaper, but you'll be there a long while. If you need filters and wipers changed, your visit will cost More. They offer it these as a service, which is good. You have the option to decline. Most oil change places will act as if it's life or death if you don't change your filters and wiper blades at that moment. My suggestion: download the AutoZone app. Look up the filters and wipers for your car. If you're not sure how to change them, go on YouTube. You'll save plenty of money. The only negative was the undercarriage to my car was missing it's bolts and looked they ripped it off to change my oil. This is second oil change place that's done this to my car. They also do inspections as well. If you don't pass, they'll label what you need to pass. After that, you got 15 days to bring it back for re-inspection. read more

Used to come here to get my oil change. That abruptly stopped one day when I came 30min prior to closing and one of the agents told me that for 1, my car takes synthetic oil, and 2, the manager has a special key to get access to it and he was gone for the day. I was beyond surprised. It sounded bogus but what do I know? I found another place a minute or so from there. It was great and I've been going there ever since that incident. Being a procrastinator, I found myself begrudgingly HAVING to go back there. Twas once again nearing closing time and the agent who helped me was beyond fabulous. Super patient, polite and quite knowledgeable. He was resetting my settings for the oil reading and it was taking a bit too long for my taste. I felt bad for I knew it was near closing time. I said it's ok I'm sure it'll be fine. But he insisted on making sure all was alright before I left. Seeing various messages on my dashboard freaked me out; he took his time to explain what they were and why there was no need to panic. His name is Esdras. Great great asset to the company. I want to begin by saying that I used to love Take 5 Oil Change. It used to be my go to place to get a quick oil change or state inspection. I went during lunch today, and there were two empty lines and placed me behind the longest line. Apparently there is only one line you can go to for state inspections. I remember specifically this was not the case when I got my state inspection last year. I remember I was in the middle lane last year and they placed me in the far right one this year. Needless to say, they should change their name. It took about an hour out of my day and I only saw two cars get their state inspection. I would understand only using one lane for state inspections if it was busy, but there were multiple times when there wasn't anyone else in line. Apparently the state inspection machine only works if the car is on the right of it and not on the left. My previous experience with them was when they told me they were unable to change the oil on my bmw. It makes sense, so I now go to firestone for my oil changes. But again, when they told me I had already waited in line for about 30 minutes. I work a very busy schedule so it is tough for me to wait around for my car for hours at a time. This is a great business concept in theory, but it's going to be a long time before I go to this location again. There was zero communication about how long it would take just "get in line behind that car." read more

Just left take 5 oil change and am very disappointed with the service. First off they did NOT have the filter I needed, so I had to go and purchase a filter from a nearby auto parts store. They did however take the price of the filter off my total, but it was an inconvenience for me. The guy handed me the new windshield sticker to do myself, and They also did not reset my oil life reminder, nor did they tap off my windshield fluid. If I could give zero stars I would. I went for an oil change and they broke the bottom cover of my truck that they have to take off to do the oil change. They keep lying saying they are ordering the part and will call so they can replace it. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. So I go change my oil on my day off; something that's hard enough to do with my busy schedule. They change my oil and air filter. My car was fine before this. Immediately after, in the shop, I notice the car rattle when I start the car. I let the guys who worked on it know that it never did that before. They blame it on my car being an older model (2011 RAV4). I was naive and didn't press on it further. Next day, I notice my car's check engine light is on and while I'm driving to work, my car shuts off mid drive. Because I work so much, I have to borrow my bf's car to work while he takes it to the shop for me to see what might've been disconnected or whatever tf. When he goes, management and the rest of the team were rude, arrogant, and condescending towards him. Literally joking and being dicks in front of him and most importantly, blaming it on everything else but their incompetence I know this is long, but long story short, save yourself the time, trouble and embarrassment of getting an oil change bc they're quite literally the worst. read more

The whole point of Take 5 is to get speedy car service. I was there for nearly an hour. I waited 25 minutes just to be seen and another 25 minutes to get my oil change completed. I did go during a lunch rush, but that's still ridiculous for a place that shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. I'm still giving 3 stars because everyone was very friendly and informative, and I acknowledge I went during a lunch rush. However, being on a time crunch this is usually my go-to place. I know now not to use my hour of lunch to run what's usually a quick errand. read more

Where jiffy lube normally charges $120 (with coupon), my oil change was a super affordable 66.04!!! I went to take my car for a state inspection. I was allowed to pull into a bay right away, so great start. There were 5 guys working at this location today. The guy that does inspection was working on another car, so I had no problem waiting my turn. After he was done with the car next to me, he started cutting up with the 4 guys working on a Range Rover that was in for an oil change. I am generous saying that the 4 guys were working. One was working and the other 3 were cutting up. I sat for 25 min. No one ever came over to talk to me once I drove into the bay. After becoming frustrated with the lack of attention I rolled down my window and asked for someone to direct me out of the bay. The one guy just said, sorry for the wait. I have no problem waiting my turn when everyone is working, but it was clear that there was not going to be a 5 minute experience for anyone today. I have used this location for a number of years for inspections and oil changes......they will not be getting "5 minutes" of my time anymore. read more
