They didn't try to up-sell me, and actually recommended I get an oil and fluid top off at no additional charge instead of a full service oil change! I am a Take 5 fan but was disappointed at this location. Arrived at about 6:15 PM this evening and pulled in line and was 3rd car from the garage. Ty came to the young lady in front of my vehicle and held a light-hearted discussion with her for about 5 mins. She pulled up and he then turned toward my Gray Honda Odyssey and his smile visibly faded as he announced to me that the red car would be their last customer of the day. Like Kina C. another reviewer here (on 4/12/2023), I rushed to this location (my first time here) because they were closer to where I was coming from than the Capitol Blvd. location I generally go to. I asked Ty why he would turn me away more than 30 mins. before closing...by this time it was 6:26PM and there was no one else in line. He stated that it was just him and another guy working. I stated that with ~5 mins. service per vehicle there appeared to be enough time to service the remaining vehicles, including mine. Ty did not even try to be accommodating OR apologize...which gave me greater encouragement to write this disappointing review of this Creedmoor Rd. location. read more

The first time I went here, everything was great. Fast, friendly, and a good value for my money. So when it was time yesterday for another oil change, I went back. The wait was agonizingly slow. Even though the crew had two bays open, they only serviced one vehicle at a time. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to finally pull out of the bay. The team, while courteous, moved at a snail's pace. Constantly walking away to chat, or enter the office. Not sure if I'll give them another try or not. read more

These people are the best, you know exactly what are they going to do to the car and how much it is going to be. When I leave the place I always honk as signal of being satisfied with their service. I do my own oil changes because I use synthetic oil but if I don't have the time I take vehicles there. I also go there every year with the cars for the NC inspection, they are always in good shape so I always pass the test. I know, it is just another tax (from Tax Carolina) but it helps if they find something wrong with the vehicle They are the best in town and I am going to keep going there. Interpersonal skills are good and I never had a problem with anyone, even when they do a job that is not clearly priced on the wall. They are all very courteous and well mannered, no cussing here read more

I was referred by a friend. Due to my work schedule, I pulled up less than an hour before closing. They got me in and out within no time! I thought it would be more than my usual "small town" drive thru oil change, but it was overdue. Much to my surprise, it was less than the other oil change locations by about $20! I've driven past take 5 a couple times and always thought about trying it. I'm SO glad I did. It is a bit more expensive, not by much though and it is worth every penny! When you pull up, they give you a bottle of water, you stay in your car and they get to work immediately. It was super fast unlike Walmart that takes 3-4 hours they go the extra mile, check your tire pressure and adjust accordingly, replace your filter, fill liquids you need, check your windshield wipers and even Wash your windshield! Really disappointed in the service I received today. I arrived on my lunch at 11:50. They had 3 cars in the bay and I was first in line. Then another guy in a Prius pulls up after me. He gets moved into the bay, serviced and leaves before me. All cars around me had their fluids checked and filled and air in their tires. All of that got overlooked for my car, which sucks because I needed air in my tires. I finally left at 11:50 just in time to be late for my conference call. I have been bringing both of my cars here for years and spend a lot of money on my jeep when I bring it. There is and has been no sense of urgency at this location my last several visits. Ive visited several take 5 locations this is by far the worse experience I've had. I arrived at 2:22 by 3:38 my car still wasn't in the Bay. It wasn't that busy and they seemed to be adequately staffed. I choose Take 5 for the convenience and this was the opposite of that. I'm not sure what the delay was but everyone around me was growing frustrated. If your in a rush I wouldn't recommend this location just go to a dealer. read more

I'd like to start off by saying the staff is amazing! They took the time to teach me about my car and were very kind. That being said management is terrible. They need to put more employees on the schedule. Got in line behind 2 cars with 1 in the bay at 6:00pm. Didn't get in the bay until 8:00pm and was waiting for 20 minutes until they started working on my car. Didn't leave until 8:45pm with my oil changed. Took almost 3 hours to get an oil change. Only 2 out of 3 bays in use with only 1 employee working while others were hanging out. Will not be back and I do not recommend. read more

This is usually my go to oil change establishment. I drive a BMW. I've been coming here 2 years getting oil changes. Today I was refused service by James the weekend "key holder." Not sure if I could call him a manager because the other managers here have always assisted me. I told him look in the system. James "The Key Holder" who was standing in front of my car told an another employee they couldn't service me like I'm not sitting in my car. He went to walk off until I ask what did he say? James turned around and I asked are you refusing service on my bmw. He said yes and walked away. So, James "The Key Holder" isn't skilled enough to change my oil because BMWs aren't made with dip sticks! I won't be back! My $150 wasn't good enough for James "The Key Holder." Robert "The Manger" has no issue ever helping me. read more

My 16 yr old daughter arrived at 3:45pm yesterday to get an oil change. The staff acknowledged her. She waited outside for almost 30 minutes. After that time a staff person came out and told her that the manager said they could close early that day and they weren't going to service her car. YOU DON'T TREAT A 16 YEAR OLD GIRL LIKE THAT. I'm not sure how to give a review for this place. They have lots of high stars but my experience unfortunately was not good. I got here at between 9:00-10:00am. Was just expecting to get an oil change. I realized it was taking a little longer than expected but I just relocated to Raleigh from NJ and am unfamiliar with service shops in the area. Well, 25 minutes minutes later I was told that my car has a "unique oil cap" and that they were trying to figure out how to get it back on safely. Red flag #1. Then I was told that when they unscrewed the cap, a metal insert fell from inside of the oil pan, and that my whole oil pan needs to be replaced...I know nothing about cars, or what an oil pan or oil cap look like, but I do know that they handed me this piece off the pan in a paper towel to present to a mechanic that could fix it. They put a "temporary" plug (red flag #2) on the pan to keep the oil from leaking but recommended I get it to a mechanic ASAP to replace it. So here I am, at my car dealership miles away, waiting to see if the damage they have done can be fixed. For me, it's not looking great because the service manager at my dealership said he has never seen the part of metal that fell off, and this is probably going to go left quickly. Super pissed! They didn't charge me for the oil change, and rightfully so because they broke my car. I should have trusted my gut and went to my dealership first. If you don't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a new pan or other parts, don't go here. Side note, the techs were super friendly, but if they didn't know how to properly change the oil on my car I would have preferred they told me before attempting it anyway. It would have saved them from BS'ing the run around I got that they messed up. read more

Overall the service was quick and fine as promised, and I was able to roll in and get an oil change. They showed me the oil level - which was good - and offered excellent communication. Besides my gripe below, it was actually quite a nice service. There was one thing, however, which had my blood pressure skyrocket.They initiated a service check without asking me what they were doing. Without asking, they added power steering fluid, and they even attempted to add coolant without my permission. Not cool, guys. I didn't ask, or want these services, and I know I didn't need them because I had these serviced recently. Did you even put the right power steering fluid, or the right coolant in? Please do not gold plate - or provide extra services beyond what was asked. This is really, really, not a good practice. I'd happily go back, but would explicitly ask for an oil change only - please don't fill anything else up. If you're a manager reading this, yes I submitted this in the survey. I know many people like this service, and I don't have a problem with you doing a courtesy check, just ASK FIRST. "Sir, we are going to check the levels of your car as a courtesy". All I'd have to say is NO and there wouldn't have be a problem. But you touched stuff I didn't want you to. Please stop this. read more
