I live within walking distance of Atlantic Tire and have been going to them for inspections, tire issues for years. I've had the occasional one off where I've need breaks, but I typically go to the dealer for the big things. But this last visit has gave me a new appreciation for Atlantic Tire. The service 'engine soon light' had been on again after the dealer "fixed" it back some months ago. Long story short, Joe and his team took such great care of me and called me to give updates every step of the way, and saved me money. Everyone at Atlantic Tire is so great. They are very informative and friendly. They let you know before they do anything how much it will cost. They inform you of what needs to be done before they do it, no surprises. Great service!! Had an issue with my regular car service company regarding an alignment and they told me I had to have a new tire immediately and it was not safe to drive. as no tread left, Car was pulling to right. Atlantic checked all my tires and showed me the gauge showing tread was good on all tires. They also changed out positions of two tires and did not charge me, I was concerned the other shop had not done alignment as car continued to pull to right strongly. Atlantic said they could put car on lift and see if alignment was done , would take pics to show other shop if it was not done, and I should ask for a refund. I've used Atlantic Tire a few times now for oil change and tire rotation. Time to do it again so went online and placed a Friday am appt. Within a few hours something came up so I called to see if I could take the open appt for today. It was filled, but they worked me in for later. There was also a snafu afterwards about the tire rotation but it was taken care of. Clean facilities, including the bathroom. Competitive pricing and in and out under an hour. Comprehensive service invoice included photos. Recommend. read more

Good for oil changes and tire service. However for all other services since they sold out to a corp based in Florida, I suggest going somewhere else. Plenty of quality vehicle service centers with same or higher rated technicians than here. Yes their prices are cheaper than most in the area but remember, you get what you pay for. I received a flyer in the mail and decided to give Atlantic a try. I am so happy I did! I typically stick to the same routine, which for me is a drive-through oil change, due to my busy schedule. However, they were available on Saturday, so I made an appointment. Andy was ready for me upon arrival, and the service was impeccable. He explained everything and provided the best customer service. The oil change went great, and included a multi point inspection with photos and recommendations for repairs. However, they do not try to push you on these at all. Every time I get an oil change, the technicians tell me that I need my air filter replaced, to which I decline. Not only did Atlantic check my air filter, but they took a photo and honestly told me that it did not need to be replaced. The price is right in line with other companies, with double the service! MY FIRST VISIT... They were horrible!!! Extremely Poor Customer Care/Service..... I drove into the site with a leaking tire at approximately at 10:30 am.. Only to be snarkily told to come back after 1:00!!! When I returned at approximately 1:15, I again snarky told to find a place... and again reminded that they only patch and not plug.... I DON'T CARE, JUST TREAT ME WITH RESPECT, AND BE QUICK ABOUT IT! ..... I left without service. read more

Working with Fadi has been great, he knows me & he knows my vehicle better than I do. He always assists me & reminds of the preventative services that should be done. Go someplace else. They do shoddy work. I had my radiator replaced and the truck was leaking coolant as soon as I drove it home. I took it back and they replaced a hose. I asked them to give me fresh coolant as I had tested it, and it was very weak. They said the coolant was good to -35 degrees. I took it home again and it was leaking an oily substance the next morning. I took it back and after three days in the shop they told me there was a cracked timing cover. I suggested that the weak coolant might be the cause as It had gotten into the low 20's. They said that they used fresh coolant and that basically I was an idiot. I took the truck home without any further repairs. When I tested the coolant this time it was obvious that they had topped it off with fresh coolant. The truck had never leaked a drop of anything. Now it needs $1200-1500 of work and I'm sure it's because they cheated me out of $10 of coolant. I don't trust them. I know a fair amount about cars. I do a lot of work on them myself. So, I know they tried to cover their butts with the new coolant after they saw what they did to my truck. And now I question whether I need the radiator replaced in the first place. Take my advice, go somewhere else. read more

I actually liked that place it is close to my house and service was not bad, but Thursday 11 July 2024 I make appointment for 11:30 to change an oil and tire rotation and when I came they told me that they have a lunch at 12(witch is not on the schedule) and they not be able finish it and my appointment at 11;00. I though okay may be my mistake and he reschedule it for Friday 11:00. Next day I was waiting 1 hour and they say all finished we check everything everything look good, I pay and left and than I see my tire shows it is flat 26 PSI and tire rotation was not done. In the past couple of months, I've purchased two sets of tires from the Atlantic Avenue Tire, Wakefield location. I had good service and a fair price on the tires. Therefore, I trusted them enough to send my 19-year-old niece to see them when she needed two tires for her car. When I returned home, to my surprise, the dealer had sold her four tires. The two front tires on her car had only 7,500 miles on them, so she only needed two tires. On 4/25/22 I reached out to the salesman at the shop. He stated he remembered the car and that he personally looked at the front tires and determined that they too needed to be replaced. I informed him of the mileage on the tires. I also informed him that I had taken pictures of the tires before I sent my niece to the shop, I had the receipt showing when the tires were purchased and mileage. I emailed both of those to the salesman. I explained in the email that I expected the store to correct this gross misjudgment. On 4/27/22, I again reached out to the store and asked for the manager. I learned that the salesman that sold my niece her tires is the manager. I reiterated my concerns. He stated that he needed to speak with the owner and that I should hear back by 4/29/22. As of today, I've received no correspondence. The information I have provided are facts. I'm extremely disappointed. I thought I had a car shop that I could trust. So, you need to decide for yourself. However, I would not send my mother, wife, daughter, or niece to this location for vehicle service or tires. read more

Been doing business here for five years, buying tires, routine maintenance and repairs for 3 vehicles to the tune of thousands of dollars. Dropped of car for check engine light, had to call to check status mid afternoon, problem was loose gas cap. $120...that's the last dollar or minute I spend here. No loyalty or courteousy to loyal customers. Go elsewhere, there's lots of alternatives. read more

I took my car here because of a tire losing air. They "fixed" it and didn't charge me for the service. Within an hour of leaving my tire was losing air again. I called back and they didn't have any appointments until late afternoon which didn't work for me because I was heading out of town shortly. The following morning my tire was completely flat. I brought it to another tire shop in South Carolina and they found the issue within 10 minutes... my rim was cracked. Had Atlantic Tire taken my tire off the first time they would have known. I called this morning to discuss my issue to a person who could not care less. Frustrated and disappointed in this service and my experience as we have taken multiple cars here over the past few years. read more

Great, fast service when I took my car there for new tires. Also performed an alignment check and let me know it needed one, so they did that for me too. They also put on my metal valve stem caps that I bought for the last set of tires! On top of all of that, they also checked my brakes and were honest about them not needing serviced yet. I had tires put on my Audi Q5 here almost 2 years ago. I got Nexen tires that the salesman recommended, which were around $1,000 for the set of 4. I immediately noticed that my car wasn't driving the same, having a vibration in the wheel when driving Over 60 mph. I voiced my concerns with the first rotation, and was told the tires just needed rotated. When this didn't fix the vibration, they conned me into an alignment, which also did not fix the problem. I faithfully carried out the rotations, each time voicing how displeased I was. My husband also called during this time, and we were repeatedly reassured that they would "make it right". I was finally turned over to Jason, who told me that the tires weren't wearing as they should ( even though this was a problem from Day 1) And that he would "make it right" with the next rotation. Prior to the next rotation, 2 different people commented that I should not be driving with my tires, and that they were so thin that I could have a blow out at any time. At the next rotation, Jason's idea of "making it right" was to offer me $25 off per tire for THE SAME BRAND OF TIRES! I don't know a lot about tires, but I am not stupid. I told him I did not want the tires, and he then stated that my tires were "dangerously" worn, while also acknowledging that I had been a great customer, and had brought them in for every rotation! I took my car to another shop and they immediately told me that they would have NEVER put those tires on my vehicle, and they were shocked when I showed them the receipt for what I had paid. They put a high quality Michelin Tire on my car, for less than I paid for the others, and my car finally drives like an Audi again....nearly 2 years later. I will never go here again, and I can literally walk there from my home. Stay away!!! read more

They took advantage of my wife by charging her 25.00 to run a wire brush over the battery terminal to clean off a small amount of corrosion. This is a shady business and we will never use them again. read more
