This business is a nightmare. Day #19 of being given the runaround. They cracked our oil pan, admitted fault (not only to our vehicle, but several others), took our car key and said they would have it towed for repairs, then crickets. Haven't heard a word. Multiple calls to the customer service number where I keep being told that the district manager, Mr. Russell Mann, is looking over the issue. We finally had the vehicle towed ourselves and repaired. Our bank account is now missing $1300 because they chose not to be decent human beings. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

Website claims 10 minute quick oil changes. Waited over 2 hours. Will never return!

They have 3 oil change bays so it's very misleading because you think they are doing 3 at a time - and they aren't- they do one at a time. I sat in my car (there's no waiting room) for 1.5 hours and there were still 4 people in front of me. So I left. I hate to give bad reviews but this was ridiculous. They should let you know it's NOT going to be quick. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place and the the people that work there. Every time I have been there (usually the end of that day after the workers have had long shifts already), they are personable, kind, efficient, and helpful. In the cold of winter or the heat of summer, I have never had a bad customer service experience there. I have only had one small issue with them out of all the times I have been there. (Nothing the workers did, just something I had asked about my car that should have been handled differently.) On my next visit I let Gavin know, that was checking me in, about it. I didn't throw a fit or expect anything, I just wanted to let them know about it. (I even continued to praise the workers that were there from that incident.) Gavin went above and beyond to make up for it without making a big fuss, and I was extremely surprised! *Kudos to Jarrod as well who performed my oil change that day. He was quick, knowledgeable, and friendly as well. I don't know if I will ever go anywhere else local for my oil changes. As a female who does her car maintenance on her own, to be treated well and to actually have continuous pleasant experiences in regards to her car, I can't recommend Take 5 enough! read more

Matt greeted me with a refreshing bottle of cold water and started the very painless process of an oil change. Sure, I could see they were busy when I pulled in, but still only waited 15 minutes to enter a bay. Matt was very professional and friendly. He even checked my interior car filter (which I didn't even know I had!). They topped off or refilled all my fluids, check my tire pressure and added air where low. I hear people complain about a wait sometime, but you can obviously see when they are busy. Not all vehicles are just a quick oil change. Some require more attention than others, especially if they are replacing filters, wipers, getting flushes, etc. I will continue to get my oil changed here and avoid it if they look too busy. Sometimes it's just easier to return later. I like that they show respect to the customer and tell you what you might need before they do the work. Great Job Take 5!! read more

They open at 8:00 on Sunday, which was so convenient for me today. Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to the free water bottle, they top off my fluids, air my tires, check my air filters, and change my wiper blades if I need it. At the end of the service, store manager Matt went over every line on my service ticket to make sure I understood all the services provided. It seems a little on the high side price-wise, but I pay for the high-mileage service and think it's worth it. Also, not having to get out of my car, and not having to wait long is worth it. As you drive away, there's a sign encouraging you to honk if you thought the service was good, and I like to imagine that the staff smile when they hear that as I drive away. read more

I've been to this location a few times - typically there's a long wait and they always try to upsell you. I can deal with that. My most recent visit however, I allocated about 2 hours before I had to be at work for an oil change - but had to leave before I ever made it to the front. I think the whole time I was there, only 1 car ever pulled out of the garage. Frustrating. read more

Today, our daughter brought in her Mazda for an oil change. After waiting 2 hrs they finally got to her car. The service person told her coolant was low and almost empty. He told her she needed coolant and it would be about $100. (which is way too much) that it was dangerous to drive without. Instead of just adding the very over priced coolant, they flushed her system and then adding coolant. Doing a total exchange. The service tech scared her into this. she just went for an $85. oil change. They took advantage of a teenage girl. it cost her $259.01 by the time she walked out of there. We live 4 hours from her. So, I am going to preface everything I say here by excluding Jared. He was the only person who actually seemed to try and help my daughter. She goes in for an $80 pill change and gets charged $160 for so much other crap. She is a college student who is on a fixed income and no one seemed to want to tell her the price of what they were doing. They had multiple people coming at her all at once telling her this and that had to be done, not telling her how much it costs, and got my daughter so worked up that she barely got herself home. Had it not been for Jared giving her a few discounts, she would not have had enough money to cover all of the nonsense that they did to her car. While yes, they are quick and convenient, you had better not go there if you are a girl, and especially not a young one. I'm not happy, her father is really not happy, and I am on a mission to let everyone know that you better think twice before you go here because they are the epitome of a snake oil salesman!!!! read more

The service was fast, but they forgot to put the cap on the coolant reservoir and it made a mess in my garage when I got home. At my next oil change at the dealership, the mechanic said Take 5 put the oil filter on so tight that they had to destroy it to remove it. It's fast, but it's not worth it. read more

I had these guys change my oil prior to this last visit to their business. After sitting in my car for at least 20 minutes, the manager comes over to my window and said he couldn't get the cap off to replace the oil filter. My car has a plastic cap that screws into the plastic housing mounted to the manifold and apparently there is a specific torque that has to be applied, or you can't remove it. In my prior visit here, they over tightened it. They also didn't replace the engine cover cap. I had to have the housing replaced to fix it and the total cost to repair my car was $1,020. But hey, they gave me a coupon. I then started to wonder why this company has you sit in your vehicle while they change your oil. It really sucks if it is cold or hot outside, and I don't really want to be inside of a mechanic shop while they do it anyway. It is a stupid thing from a marketing view. I do have a theory though. If they drive your car off into the pit, their insurance pays for it, but if YOU drive the car off in the pit, YOUR insurance pays for it. Take your car to a place that has certified mechanics. I never thought an oil change could cost me so much. read more

I took my car to Take 5 in Stillwater last week. The two guys that were checking in my car were goofing around and trying to keep each other from getting to the computer next to my car. The service manager finally came over and said they didn't have the oil filter that I needed for my VW diesel. About 2 minutes later, miraculously they had a filter for it. I was suspicious so I asked for the filter as I was leaving. It was not the same oil filter that my car used so it was not changed. After finding this out, I took my car to have it checked by a mechanic. The bottom engine cover was hanging down and not secured. THE OIL HAD NOT BEEN CHANGED! I can't tell you how mad I am about this. The mechanic showed me the oil that they took out. It was black and very old. My car mileage is only 69,000. They charged me for all of this and didn't even change the oil. I called their customer service in Louisiana and they just put me on hold and then a voice prompt told me to call back later. Well, no thank you. I will never use Take 5 again. What a rip off. read more
