The last thing I would want is for the same person who messed up my skin so badly to have another chance to make it even worse! After seeing several other reviews about horrible tattoo work done at Cobra Customs by Matt, and how Cobra Customs has given each of these other customers the run around about making it right, ultimately doing absolutely nothing about it and leaving each of us with awful tattoos that are nothing like we asked for, it's clear that Cobra Customs does not stand behind the work of the artists they hire or the work that is done on their premises. If you choose Cobra Customs, vet your individual artist thoroughly before starting. It should have been my first red flag that when I went in for a consultation I was given no option of which artist to work with, was simply told Matt would be the one who would do the work. Based on previous work I had done there in the early 2000's by great artists, I wrongly assumed all artists at Cobra would do quality work.

Erica said I needed to go bigger so the lines don't blend together and end up making the flowers look like circles (fine). During the tattoo, everything was going great until the end when she said "Don't get green ink in your next tattoo." I asked why to which she said "Why?! Why do you think?! Your skin doesn't like it." Which I thought the way she said it was pretty rude. (I'm not a tattoo artist so I have no idea what you're talking about ).She also told me my skin was really dry which was why I had angry skin after the tattoo. I feel like she got frustrated with the green ink situation and took her frustration out on me, which ultimately led to her doing a poor job on my tattoo. I think the tattoo she gave me is subpar. It just looks like someone drew flowers on me with crayola crayons. It doesn't look natural, the colors are too bright , the lines in the flowers blend into each other, and the green ink for the stems turned out kinda splotchy. I left the shop that day feeling like a defective canvas and not an actual human being with feelings. Also, I sent her a picture of what I wanted with the deposit months before the tattoo appointment. She couldn't have told me in the email that what I wanted wasn't doable? She had to wait until the day of the appointment? Really? She might be talented with other types of tattoos, but if you're looking for a delicate floral piece, don't go here.

I had been contemplating a nose piercing for a bit, so I asked my husband to find a shop, half expecting him to push back - he did not. A quick Yelp search led me here. I was lucky enough to be able to get in with no wait. The shop was very clean and inviting. Doc was awesome. He very easily quelled my nerves with lighthearted conversation and joking, but was professional and obviously very knowledgeable. He talked me through each step of the process, including a very thorough explanation of aftercare, which the Type A in me appreciated. Went in for a $40 piercing sale, they said it was $40 off not $40 a piercing, already sketchy asf,…read moreafter my appointment I checked their posts and it says $40 piercings, not $40 off of piercings. Entire lobby smelled of cigarette smoke and people were vaping inside the building. I got my tongue pierced, they took me upstairs, where everything is visibly dirty. In the room they set me up in, their was needles on the ground. And as there was a needle in my tongue, a two year old came running through the door. And no one grabbed her, just was like "oh do you want to watch?". My piercing healed fine but overall very unhygienic, uncomfortable, and unsafe. Their was a two year old running in and out of rooms, as their was needles next to my feet on the floor. That's all you really need to know to make a decision. (Don't be stupid, choose a better place;)
