I was lucky enough to be able to get in with no wait. The shop was very clean and inviting. Doc was awesome. He very easily quelled my nerves with lighthearted conversation and joking, but was professional and obviously very knowledgeable. He talked me through each step of the process, including a very thorough explanation of aftercare, which the Type A in me appreciated. The woman in the front was very kind and descriptive explaining the jewelry types to my sister and I but when she went to ask the piercer a question he was rude to her and basically brushed her off asking why she would need to ask another question. He then came out and was rude to me answering the question. He literally went on a rant about how my nose piercing couldn't accommodate a hoop. I've had a hoop before, but I understood where he was coming from as my nostril is pierced very high. For some reason, even though I said right away I'd be fine without ones he went on and on in a rushing and rude way about why it wouldn't work and then rushed back to the back room. I didn't get his name unfortunately. My sister and I ended up leaving because she didn't want that man piercing her and I didn't want to give so much money to and a large tip to someone so rude and dismissive of his customers and coworkers. I feel like she got frustrated with the green ink situation and took her frustration out on me, which ultimately led to her doing a poor job on my tattoo. I think the tattoo she gave me is subpar. It just looks like someone drew flowers on me with crayola crayons. It doesn't look natural, the colors are too bright , the lines in the flowers blend into each other, and the green ink for the stems turned out kinda splotchy. I left the shop that day feeling like a defective canvas and not an actual human being with feelings. Also, I sent her a picture of what I wanted with the deposit months before the tattoo appointment. She couldn't have told me in the email that what I wanted wasn't doable? She had to wait until the day of the appointment? Really? She might be talented with other types of tattoos, but if you're looking for a delicate floral piece, don't go here.

But since this was a recommendation from a trustworthy friend, I went ahead . My friend made an appt at 3:30pm 11/27 with Joey to get our piercing done , we came in and was greeted by the receptionist; she was nice and asked for the usual ID and sign some consent form. . I initially wanted the snake eyes piercing at the tip of my tongue, but Joey straight up told me that he doesn't do that here, due to lots of complications in the future with peoples teeth, gums etc. He also said even though there were customers that had told him to just pierce it because it's what THEY want; it doesn't make him feel good knowing What can/May happen... which I totally respect. I came in there not wanting to know the downside of getting that piercing but Joey had told me all that I needed to know, and the last thing I want down the line as I age is getting a chip tooth while talking or whatever (my worse nitemare!). Anyways, I ended up getting my tongue re-open/pierced since it had been closed for 5+ years , a change in my tragus earring which was super long; and my cartilage earring change .
