Recently I've seen that it has grown in popularity , so I decided to finally see what it is all about . This was a busy Friday night with lots of people coming. I had no idea the wait time would be that long so we just presented in person. I like the vibe and ambiance here. They have a live DJ playing in the back and sports on the television . Customer service needs room for improvement . Body language, communication both were sub par. Facial expression and the way I got handed the food was received with an attitude . Like I'm the one waiting and paying for the food. Almost felt like they were projecting their feelings towards me. I ordered a burger with side of fries, 10 piece wing(Cajun/lemon pepper). Fries tasted old and dry. Wings were ok. I just feel like I've had better. Burger was more bread than meat. I like the kool aid, sweet but not crazy sweet . For $28 i expected much more . The food was tasteless, the wings overpriced and overcooked, costing $9.25 for 3 actual wings that had been divided into drumettes and flats (2 of them burned). My turkey burger lacked seasoning and my wife said that her hamburger was also tasteless. The fries did not look appetizing and my wife said they tasted worse than they looked. I took my wings back up to the counter, showed them to the clerk, and asked him if I could exchange them for a fish sandwich, which was cheaper. He said that he couldn't do that, but they cooked another "six wings" for me. I asked them not to fry them so hard this time and when they were done, they were slightly better than the last batch, but like the first batch, they were just fried wings with the seasoning sprinkled on top as an afterthought. The employees are amazing and Take Out Burger let me do whatever I want with my sandwich, including adding avocado and mushrooms and jalapeños and grilled onions. It seems every time I'm there. They are having special events for the community or just having spectacular service. Fries cooked perfectly.
