Drove to this location on 1/6/26 at around 9:30PM. Arrived and the restaurants gates inside were all set up except for the door part which had a sign that said "drive thru only" with the restaurant hours indicating they close at 10:00PM. We drove around to place our order and no one was answering, therefore we went to the window and there were 2 asian people there who looked at us and then looked away. They appeared to be ignoring us. But thought, maybe they didn't hear us at the speaker, therefore we drove around to the speaker once again and one more time, nothing heard. Either the hours need to be updated on the business or the employees need to be informed of the correct closing times because this is so unprofessional. read more

This restaurant is like something from SEINFELD. The owner/manager has no concern with customer service. He performs like a dictator. The front doors have been locked for over a year; they don't want customers in the lobby area-- they don't want customers to eat-in. So we haven't seen the inside for a long time. Other customers have talked about roaches/lack of cleanliness. We can't tell, b/c they don't let anyone in. We tried to call in an order at one point, but he said he no longer takes call-ins b/c too many people don't show up. It would be comical if it weren't so unfortunate for those of us who like Schlotzsky's. The sandwiches produced via the drive through window are-- meh. Sometimes tolerable. Sometimes worse. After she reviwed my on line order, she closed the window. After quite some time of waiting in my car at the window I got her attention and asked if they were working on my order. Visited this location today and it's fine. It's clean and the people who run it are great. But.....I have an issue. Each time I order thru the drive thru - I ask for extra lettuce and onion on my sandwich. They always assure me very nicely that it's been added - and then NOPE! I have the same threadbare amount of lettuce and onion that made me order extra in the first place. It's honestly mildly infuriating. Just left Schlotzsky's and they delivered just like they always do! These sandwiches come in three different sizes; small, medium, and large (the large is so big that they cut it into four parts)! You can make it a meal by adding some chips and a drink for about five more dollars. The original sandwich is made with different deli meats, lettuce, tomato, onions, black olives, and purple onions. It's delicious. They also have other signature sandwiches, pizza, cookies, and they sell "Cinnabon"cinnamon rolls. I usually get the pink lemonade instead of soda because it's refreshing but not too sweet. I have eaten in at the Mesquite location and the tables are always clean and plenty of available seating because most people get their food to go. If you want something lighter than a burger but just as satisfying, make sure you check out this establishment. Happy eating! read more

Like some other reviews, I should have taken the 2 star rating as a warning and read some reviews. My bread was also old and stale. Definitely no crispy edges or soft warm middle. The meat in my sandwich seemed a little air burned. Dry and crispy edges on the meat ... I ordered a cheese pizza for my son. Old bread again as well. I'm betting it was from the previous day, not fresh made. We got a cinnamon roll to split which we haven't eaten yet. In all, for the $$ you pay here the food sucked! read more

This location had horrible customer service. Me and my 2 friends went to the drive thru and I said if I can do 3 separate orders, the guy on the speaker said yes, and I told him the orders. I pulled up to the window and I show him my phone for the rewards he takes my phone and scans it. He then tells me the total for the second order, I take my friend phone that is sitting next too me and show him the reward for him to scan on her phone, he takes the phone and scans it. He then tells me the total for the third order and I get my other friends phone that is sitting in the back, I show him the phone and he starts telling me "no you cannot use that many rewards it's only 2 people for reward" he made no sense because we where 3 different people with our own phones, and with our own rewards and he refused to scan the last reward. I told him it's 3 of us and we have our own rewards but he still refused with a bad attitude. I then said okay then take the last order off he then closes the window and gives me my 2 orders and says nothing not even a have a good day. I sat in line for 30 minutes only to get to the window and she asked if I got the pepperoni pizza! No, I got the original and baked potato soup. I already had been in line for 30 minutes and now I'm up to 40 minutes! When I finally get my order there was no soup, so I wait AGAIN. Simira Lee the "manager" is an absolute treat. She is helpful and willing to take care of any problem you have . Just the food and the healthiness of resteraunt is terrible. There are roaches in every corner the restroom looks like a homeless man just bathed in the sink. This is by far the worst kept resteraunt I have ever been too. The staff except for Simira are all terribly unkempt rude uneducated individuals. They also overcharge for everything. The price at this slotchsks is at least 5 dollars more . Please save time and avoid this part of town ND this resteraunt. read more

This place just makes you feel good I'm a creature of habit so the Signature Turkey Club is my go to 7 bucks is a reasonable price for a sandwich that's full of meat fresh vegetables and a sourdough bun to die for. Ordered the original with lite mustard. No meal just the sandwich. I have never regretted paying five dollars for a sandwich in all of my life. Wish I had read the reviews first, and I have never been to a Schlotzsky's that was not full of customers on a weekend. When I drove up there were two cars in the parking lot no one in the lobby and one person leaving the drive-through. I should've followed my instincts and went to the Schlotzsky's in Cedar Hill. The sandwich was skimpy and dry. The sourdough is usually perfectly balanced with crispy edges. I think the bread was dry. I've never had dry sourdough bread so I'm not sure but it is the only way I can describe what I just ate. read more

I told them I wanted my sandwich extra crispy and it was just barely toasted. They only give you one small salad dressing and charge an extra 65 cents for more. I was quite pleased to see that a new Schlotzsky's opened in the area, so I stopped by this evening on the way home. The sandwiches were pretty good, but it seemed like they skimped a little on the ingredients. This may have been because of the "birthday special" promotion they were offering. They also had run out of 2 different soups I tried to order, but I suspect that may have had more to do with the fact that they were busier than usual from the special deal. Although they were a bit rushed because of the promotion, our food came very quickly and still tasted good. I was pretty pleased by the chicken enchilada soup. I was nice and thick, cheesy, and had quite a few chunks of chicken in it. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the the tortilla chip strips had made it into the bag. (Again, not actually a big deal.) I'll definitely try this place again--maybe on a day when there's not a major promotion taking place--and update my review when that happens. read more

I hadn't been to Schlotzsky's in years but a friend raved about their Chicken Pesto Pizza. So, I decided to check it out and to stop by Schlotzsky's despite their negative reviews. Never again! When I entered the store, they weren't crowded at all. In fact, there were only 3 other people in the store other than the employees. I walked straight to the register and ordered my Chicken Pesto Pizza to-go. Within minutes, I was headed home with my pizza. I was ready to eat after a long day at work. To my dismay, there was a pepperoni pizza in my box. What?? My order was the only order the employees had to prepare at the time. Immediately, I called the store and spoke with the manager and explained my situation. He asked me to come back to the store so that he could remake the pizza. I told him I was tired and hungry and I didn't feel like driving back to Schlotzsky's. He was almost insistent. I asked him, are you saying that if I don't come back tonight you won't make this right. He said, "You can come by tomorrow but you must bring the item (the pizza) and your receipt for me to replace the item." Really?? Did they plan to resell the item? This was the worst service ever! I hadn't been to Schlotzsky's in a long time and I will not return any time soon. They missed up my simple order and I was punished. Wow!! P.S. There pizza seems to taste better than just about anywhere. I pretty much always go for the pizza. They need to keep the lemons available for the tea drinkers out where it can be used instead of having to ask for them. I would go to this location often after a 13-hour shift and always buy the same small sandwich with no problems. I decided to redeem a coupon for a free small sandwich tonight and it was like I insulted the establishment. I handed the man my phone that had the coupon and he messed with his computer for a while. He opened the window again, handed me back my phone and said: "the internet is down and I cannot use this". I replied "I already activated the coupon for this location and it can't be undone" He defended the stance that Schlotzsky's couldn't afford to shell out 1 free small sandwich because he couldn't document it with the system down (even though it's free either way?). I told him that was bad customer service and that I've worked food service, so I know it's easy to comp someone a cheap item. He took my phone back inside for quite a while. He returned and said that I could go to another location to use the coupon! I said, "so you're telling me that you would have me drive to another location for a free small sandwich, rather than just give me the thing because I have a legitimate coupon for it?" Worst service ever! I went today to redeem a birthday reward (small original sandwich) through the drive thru. They asked for the reward code and I gladly gave them my cell phone to verify the code. Next I was told that the code did not work. I'm not sure why because the reward was just given to me on their app. Nevertheless, the Chinese employee closed the drive thru window without saying another word. I blew my horn to get his attention and tried to show him on my phone that the code was just redeemed at their location with the date stamped on it. I love Schlotozky's but this location has messed up my Uber order three times. This last time, I placed an order for my team which was also messed up. When I called to have it corrected, the lady owner pretended like she didn't understand what I was asking. So I left my office to have them fix it. I showed them pictures of the food and the man owner was saying that the tomato in the photo was the missing bacon. I FaceTimed my team member so that she could pick the sandwich apart and show him that there was no bacon on the sandwich. He kept saying it was there when it was not. I then started talking to his wife who notices that the sandwich is not in fact the BLT that we ordered. It was another sandwich that of course doesn't come with bacon. I won't go into the other orders, but this particular incident adequately describes the level of customer service to be expected at this location. Very poor. No attempts made to remedy the situation. I give this establishment NO rating as it was the worst service I have ever received. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a turkey cobb salad and 2 cups of broccoli soup. When i drove around the guy took my card and handed me the receipt. Shortly, he came back to the window and gave me the salad as they were still making the soup. I looked at the salad and saw that it was made with field greens and had cubed turkey meat. What I was thinking was that oh no maybe I made a mistake because the salad I usually get does not come with dark greens and feta cheese or cubed turkey. I asked the guy if they had another salad that had shredded turkey and iceberg lettuce. He said yes but with hesitation. I was hesitant as well because I knew this was not the salad I thought it was. I looked at him as to say well, can I get that other salad because I didn't expect field greens and for sure my mistake because I don't know the name of salad that I want.He was irritated at this point. He said hold on and a woman came to the window and asked for my salad and said she would make another salad and she was clearly irritated. I was fine until he said to me that all the salads they make have field greens. I tapped the window and said well lets just cancel the order because I cant eat field greens if that is all you have. That is when it turned from irritation to pissed. The guy went off! He said we made this food for you and you're gonna be rude and not take it well you are not getting your money back either you take this food or you leave! He said we do not do refunds. At this time they had the food and my money. He was pissed. I was too at this point. I have never been treated like this by anyone who I was patronizing. Once the police came I pulled up my car in a parking spot and walked towards them. The police was talking to him first and asked me to step to the side. The police walked over to me and I started to tell him my story about this man yelling at me and refusing to give me my money back and they still had the food. The police told me then that they could not do anything to help me because they could not make him do anything. So at this time i started to cry because I was terribly upset. It made me so upset that I could get terrible service and be treated terribly and have them keep my money. The police said that this was a civil matter. Sure it is! I was crying at this point because it became more than food or $20. I told the police that if it were him he would hit the roof! if it were his wife, mother, sister etc. who was being treated this way he would not stand for it. The police said that all they could do was to ask the guy what he was willing to do and as you would know it.... that was give me that food. He told the police they don't give refunds!!! I am angry for the way I was treated today. I am upset because as a consumer I had to get something that I didn't want and be treated like a dog to get it. I am angry because at that time I had no rights whatsoever!!! I will not let this rest, as I told the police, I am a warm blooded human being just like them and I deserve to be treated as such.
