Sandra was very responsive and gave me a personalized tour of the facilities. The attention to detail in each room was immaculate. She helped me understand what my wife will be experiencing throughout her day. NOTE: This review will be based on my wife's perspective as she went through the entire experience. The check-in process was easy. You sign a waiver and you let Sandra know which essential oils and theme you would like in each room. They provide you a robe to change into as you begin the spa day. You start off in the infrared sauna for 30 min., then a choice of deep tissue or swedish massage, then a body exfoliation/wrap, then you shower off, and then you end with a facial. In summary: PROS: attention to the little details throughout the experience (fresh roses, comfy robes, kind workers); resting area was comfortable with fresh fruit, lemon and mint infused water, and a selection of hot tea; the exfoliation and body wrap done by Sandra were very nice. CONS: the walls were so thin that you could hear conversations in the next room and the lawn maintenance outside (which wasn't a peaceful experience); Sandra had another person conduct the massage and facial (who barely spoke English) - she didn't do everything she said she was going to do in the massage (she was to focus mostly on the upper back area due to more tension being on the upper body, but didn't); also she started massaging the body facing up which lead to very little time on the upper back area; my wife, being the mother of our 3 kids barely gets time to pamper herself and has been hinting at needing a facial for awhile, when then"analysis" was done on her skin, there was a shriek of horror at how her skin looked (which didn't make my wife feel great about herself) and she felt pressured into a $25 up charge. For a total of $350+ for this service, I would rate this experience at 3.5. I trusted that my wife was going to be taken care of, which she was, but it's certainly not worth the price given all the cons.

I'm now pregnant and my doctor recommended easy-going activities to keep me in shape during the pregnancy. So no more flag football or contact sports for me! Parking - This location isn't visible from 92. There isn't a sign either. Parking is shared with other businesses, so depending on what time you go, parking could be sparse. I went to a 7pm class and there was plenty of parking when I arrived at 6:40pm. Atmosphere - Since I'm not a regular yoga-attendee, I can't really speak into whether this location has a "yoga" vibe. There is a little check-in area when you walk in. They also have literature about the classes they offer and different pricing tiers. In the lobby area there is two chairs to sit in and what appears to be two massage rooms. When you walk into the studio/yoga area, you know instantly that it's a calming space. Dimmed lights, matted floors and very soft music plays. Class - I participated in a Gentle Yoga class. According to their website, Gentle Yoga "is great for beginners and people that need to de-stress. Each class starts and ends with brief meditations. This class is optimal for people with limiting body conditions or injuries that are needing a slower paced class with clear instructions to calm your systems and bring balance to body, mind, and spirit. Gentle Yoga classes are recommended for expectant mothers, too." I brought my own mat, but after looking at the other members, I grabbed some additional supplies. To the right of the matted floor is a little nook with shelving that offers blocks, straps, blankets and pillows for people to use. I grabbed all of it. Not going to lie - I was pretty nervous. All these regular attendees were probably going to out-perform me. I was nervous I was going to let out a giant fart in a silent class room and be shamed for it. Thankfully, that didn't happen. Even if it did, these people were so nice they probably would have ignored it. The instructor, Shalan Hill, was great. She gave me an additional mat propped up on a pillow for me, since I can't be on my back very long. She walked us through everything. She guided the meditations, the breathing and the stretching/poses. She walked around and helped when needed. It was all very relaxing. I nearly fell asleep at the end. I walked out feeling more limber and definitely more relaxed. I can definitely see the benefits of continuing Gentle Yoga, especially since I'm pregnant. Overall, I will visit again and more than likely try their message services as well.

I've been attending this yoga studio for the past 4-5 months and I have really grown to love their…read moreclasses. The owners of the studio are massage therapists, who are also yoga instructors. The combination of their knowledge of the muscles & body with the yoga postures results in the most comprehensive yoga instruction I've ever received. The instructors usually ask the class if there are any special requests beforehand, so they can be sure to include poses that will help the students in whatever they may be feeling that day - be it emotional issues or soreness/pain in an area of their body. The instructors also take the time to explain how the different muscle groups are connected and WHY a specific pose is good for one part of the body and how everything is connected. They'll also ask questions of the students like "If you've been sitting for a while, what poses would be good to do to help your body restore balance?" I've never been to a studio with instructors with such a depth of knowledge, willing to share it with the students and then ensure that they are really absorbing the knowledge! It's fantastic! There are a mix of classes that will appeal to any goal you wish to work on. Cardio yoga on Mondays is a great workout with Annie (one of the owners). Gentle yoga with Shalan is great for all levels and really helps you re-set your mind when it can spin out of control via stress. Strengthen & tone yoga is wonderful for those who want to build strength and want a bit more strength challenge than a gentle class may give you. I'd urge anyone to sign up for at least a month of yoga and go frequently before giving up on the effort. Try different yoga studios to find one that works with your goals. I love The Posture Project because of the excellence in instruction, the smaller class sizes, the personal attention & coaching from the instructors and the wonderful community. It's really a hidden gem in Woodstock :)

While we had discussed this date in our history and what happened, she had never seen videos of it happening. She was old enough to understand that thousands of people were dying as she watched...this was different than any Hollywood special effects. It was a traumatic experience for her in that she was uncontrollably shaking and crying for the next several days. Nightmares and intense anxieties followed for weeks. We sought the help of a children's counselor, but also came to BrainCore Marietta for help. Melissa made us so comfortable in explaining the tests she would perform on my daughter, how it would feel, how long each portion would last. And then she was fabulous at explaining the results of the brain map, what different areas meant, and how she would go about stimulating the different areas of my daughter's brain to promote less worry and anxiety and more peaceful sleeping. My daughter went through several months of treatments. Mid-way through, we had another brain map done which showed amazing progress was being made. Then again near the end of her treatments, which showed a drastic change in overactive areas of her brain. We are almost six months out from this therapy and it is rare now that my daughter has any bad dreams. Her anxiety levels are mostly non-existent. I know that the BrainCore therapy had much to do with these improvements. I am so thankful for Melissa's knowledge and experience in relieving the internal terror my daughter was experiencing on a constant basis. Melissa was so extremely patient and kind throughout every interaction. So for starters, I had a hard time getting anybody on the phone at the times I was calling, which to my knowledge, were hours that they were staffed. There was nowhere in the app to message or cancel the membership. And I finally was able to reach out as a message on instagram, and I was told after several days before responding that I needed to come in person. And seeing is that I had a hard time contacting anyone that times that they were staffed. I called to make sure someone would be there before going over there. And the person that answered the phone was absolutely completely just rude to me. From the minute they picked up, the phone. And I was told no, you can't cancel your membership and was just cut off on anything. I tried to say I was asking questions. And this person was just completely just rude. Nope, too bad you signed up. You gotta pay for the membership, and it's gonna be charged your account every month. So as I went back to instagram to message somebody, hopefully, I would get a different person to speak with about canceling, as I was told, when I signed up after the first few months, you're able to cancel with no fees. Again, let me remind you this is a six months that I paid for this. They make you add 2 different cards on the app in which they charge for the membership. They continued to charge my card and tell me that they would cancel it after I paid the next month in full. Which I had already not been going to this gym for almost 3 months at the time. So it's an expensive price for the membership for starters, seeing as what is actually offered. The bathrooms always had things that were broken, they would run out of the disposable towels to wipe down the equipment, the scales in the back to weigh in were always broken and never worked. And their merchandise is over priced. I had originally signed up with a friend in which it made the membership a better price for the both of us on the same account, however she moved hers to a location closer to her which made my membership go up, and definitely not worth the price. #OVERPRICED #RUDENESS #NOTWORTHIT
