Service: I made an appointment about 4 days prior, but they accept walk ins. I couldn't find pricing initially and called in to ask they were super friendly from the start. I was offered a drink, they confirmed my nail color choices and nail art preference multiple times for confirmation. Price: I included an image as I couldn't find other references online for pricing and my technician provided estimates and pricing as adjustments were made like if I chose nail art versus just a regular mani etc. Much appreciated that as some salons wait till the end and do not warn you of any price increases until its too late. Atmosphere: I had an appointment for the morning so it was quiet, sort of empty which was fine by me and did not have the strong acrylic and polish overwheling scents other salons have. Their seating and open areas were very clean looking and seemed updated. Covid precautions: They had clear seperators set up between seats for pedicure stations and between yourself and the technicians at the manicure stations. They also had sanitizers throughout different areas. I did not witness sanitation other than change of bags and materials at pedicure station so cannot attest to that. They also had a mask requirement. My total: prior to tip my total was $70 for gel manicure (including nail art add ons $5) & regular pedicure. Customer service: I had two different technicians and both were amazing, accomodating, and courteous. I was also surprised when they gave me a holiday mini goodie bag on my way out and wished me a Merry Christmas! my mom has been an advocate for your salon recommend me or other however, my sister paid for her to come in for your service the day before Mother's Day had an 11 o'clock appointment was overlooked by a few did not get the full treatment on her pedicure. No lotion, oil or hot towel anand when she complained about it, the attempt was made to lotion, her feet and legs while she was standing, washing her hands. Totally unacceptable. my sister and I have encourage my find a new nail salon. in the future, please be loyal to those who are loyal to you! read more

Nails were not good, I came in asking for one design and had to go through 7 because they only had one nail tec that could do a simple design (not even what I asked for) The prices weren't set he was adding them up as I went when the paper said another. I wanted acrylic on my toes but she told me no and that my toes were already to long (they weren't) but she put so much pressure on me I ended up getting regular polish nails. Toes lasted about 4 days I get it's polish but damn they shouldn't come off that fast. read more

This place is golden, it's right across a bridal and tux store so you will get to see high schoolers looking for prom attire or young couples getting ready for weddings as you get your feet scrubbed and pampered. This is the ideal location for men that are shy about going for pedicures. The location is remote and isolated away from the more popular areas of the mall and the service is terrific. read more

I'm an engineer so my fingers are reallllllly dirty and after my toes being in steel toe boots all day everyday, both my hands and feet nails accumulate a lot of dirt and grease on them. My girlfriend is big on her nails so mine just absolutely disgust her every time I touch her, even if I don't touch her and she sees my nails the way they were she just looks so disgusted. So I decided to try this place out after driving past their signs on N. Monroe and saw they give complimentary beverages and I was really thirsty so I thought alright why not let's try this out. The massage seats are phenomenal and i didn't realize how relaxing this service could be. As soon as my nail expert finish my toes, I kid you not they looked like they had just been reborn. I told them about my issue and how the Mrs. complains about my nails and they're really going to change her attitude on my nails. They scraped the gunk out of the corner of my nails and i don't blame the ladies if they were disgusted, heck I was disgusted myself. But now I don't have to worry about this as my nails AND feet are looking like a babies. I can't believe the service and details Tal Nails provides. I'll be definitely coming back routinely to get my nails maintained. Good job ladies and gentlemen, keep up the good work! I would avoid this establishment if you are looking to get a pedicure. Had to stop the nail lady from using a dirty foot scrubber on my foot (literally could see the old skin on it from previous use)- stop her and told I only wanted my toes painted and to stop- Andy tried to over charge me at the end by $5 and still was charged for a full pedicure read more

My FAVORITE nail salon in Tallahassee to date! I've been going to Tal Nails for about 4 years now. Cindy is the ONLY one that does my nails and she has NEVER disappointed me. My nails always look natural and almost NEVER break! I work with my hands a lot so that's important for me. Due to my hectic schedule there have been times where I've had to wait 4+ weeks for a fill and my nails still looked great! The salon doesn't have that strong acrylic smell and everything is always clean! They even offer water, soda, or wine during your experience. Everyone does a great pedicure but i always request Linda, Chanty, or Cathy if Cindy isn't there. Linda Cathy and Cindy Are also the BEST at eyebrows. Tal Nails is not the place to go if you're looking for extravagant designs. They'll give you rhinestones etc. but their design variety is a little out dated. I recently started getting only Gel Polish on my natural nails to strengthen them and even that lasts for a while! Not as long as polish on an acrylic but long enough. For every regular polish there's a gel mate! From their customer service to the work itself they're the best in the Florida capital! read more

I'm not going to be completely bitter...The pedicures and manicures are awesome and they do great gel nails here. However, I will never go back here to get my eyebrows waxed. Had the top layer of my skin ripped off today and my skin is burning like crazy. All they could say was it is normal. I get my eyebrows done every two weeks so I know this is not normal! And what hurt my feelings even more was the fact that they didn't even say sorry or take it off my bill. The only reason I paid is because I was in too much pain to argue. She even had the nerve to suggest a tip..... ridiculous! I will still go here for my nails, but I will stick with the Nail Bar for my brows (whenever they heal).... read more

I used to go to this salon when they were in the Tallahassee mall. They were always so nice and never pressured me to pay for services I didn't want. I usually got my eye brows waxed there and occasionally got a pedicure. They recently moved to north Monroe street and I went today. The pedicure was wonderful and I like that they have a private room for waxing. I always have a good experience there for a good price. read more

I made the mistake of going here for a pedi while visiting from another part of the state. I am now fighting a toenail fungus. It is horrible. I should have left when I noticed that their tools did not come from sterilized packages like they do at a salon that I had gone to several times previously in my home town.
