I've come here a couple of times as the location is near my gym so it's convenient however, I think it's time to finally let it go. While the staff are all friendly, the service does not meet what I am used to and require. The first time (or two?), I had a pedicure. It was just an okay job. This most recent visit is what makes me want to scream/cry. I had SNS/dip put on my real nails, and the woman who did the service put AT LEAST 6 layers of dip! This resulted in a bulky, chiclet appearing outcome, and quite frankly, I hate my nails!! I expressed my disdain to the woman who caused the catastrophe but nothing could be done. Trying to grow out nails repeatedly after going 2+ years with acrylic tips was IMPOSSIBLE. They kept breaking causing my entire natural nail bed damage. Why? I desperately needed a fill for my builder gel (structured gel) nails and couldn't find a place in Tallahassee that would provide this service until I landed on Nails Inspo. The environment is so clean and friendly inside and they are very welcoming. I had booked an appointment day-of and was put with Tammy Vo. Wow! The attention to detail she has is amazing and is careful during her work. She wanted to make sure every detail was perfect and that the nails were even which i greatly appreciate. This place does have good quality service and great attention to detail, but their prices are absolutely insane and I will never be returning. I got charged for 'nail-shaping' when I already had my nails almond-shaped when I came in, I got charged for a nail repair which I did not ask for and he just started doing without informing me of the extra charge. And he continued to add 'special services' that I was not made aware were additional charges until I went to pay. I asked for a polka dotted design which was a $20 extra charge, and just a MANICURE totaled to $97, and thats with an additional waived fee because they moved my appointment time twice, meaning the initial price was $107. I am not stingy with my nails and will pay fair prices for certain fees, but a hard gel manicure with my natural nails should not have been that price. I am happy with how they turned out, but I would advise against going here due to the fact that they take advantage of college students with unfair additional fees. Their prices also aren't available online so just be careful and if you do go here ask them about every service they do before you let them do it because they will not ask you. read more

Such a great experience with a disappointed ending. My pedicure was great and the lady who helped me took her time. Prior to me getting my pedicure I was between options on a color I wanted white but there was also one color that was a pearlish white. The lady suggested I'd go with the color and confirmed that's what it would look like. Well the color turned out gray which I hate and I got my toes nails done solely for Easter. I'm unhappy with the color so I asked if I could get the color changed and they WANTED TO CHARGE ME $35 for a color change, mind you it's already $35 for a regular pedicure and I got gel so I already paid $70. Now I'm stuck with this color I hate. THIS PLACE IS CRAZY EXPENSIVE. . If you're trying a new look don't come here because once they take you're money they won't accommodate you. read more

I've tried this salon on two separate occasions. Although the staff is very delightful, professional and attentive, I must say my last encounter lacked the expertise I look for in a nail tech. I got my nails done on a Tuesday by I believe his is Ye, he did an excellent job! My nail shape and color was on point, I chose chrome this time around. But after two days, my polish started to chip. So I returned that following Thursday to get my polish touched up. Ye was unavailable so I had to settle for another nail tech, cool, I understand. I totally understand that everyone must start somewhere and it takes practice but I was honestly so dissatisfied with my service. The nail tech had NO idea what she was doing, she had NEVER performed this service before and I left the salon with my nails looking worse than when I came in! My acrylic nails were lumpy and the color was thick! I truly feel that they should not be allowed to service a client if they have no idea how to complete the service. read more
