This place is an absolute disaster. I have tried multiple times to donate and they keep giving me the runaround. They are always short staffed, rude, and unprofessional. After being there 4 different times, bringing them my drivers license, multiple pieces of mail, things from the BMV, social security card, and they are still trying to tell me that I need to just go ahead and redo the whole process. But refused to actually walk me through that process. Literally just waved me off like I was some bum off the street. So, even after all of that, I went in first thing this morning and the lady told me "it wasn't a good time" but then refused to let me know WHEN I could come in. She literally just didn't want to work. Acted like I was interrupting HER day. Like I was bothering HER. Haha smh. Place is a joke. I'd rather drive all the way to Indianapolis than to try that place another time. They treated me like I was stupid and like an inconvenience to their day. Very insulting and it's a shame these people can operate this poorly and still be in business. They.Do.Not.Care. And it shows! read more

It is very clean and well kept. For the most part all the workers do a good job...especially Kiera Price. Kiera does a great job. I am not a needle person but she does a great job when she sticks me. Came in and they messed up my account. They accidentally put an address hold on my account when they were supposed to do it to someone else's account. They told me how sorry they were and they removed it. The next time I came in early and was the first one in the door. I couldn't check in because guess why... they had an address hold on my account. Now it takes me over an hour to get in. Typical of this place. Out of the 4 times I came in, I have had two bad experiences. read more

Very professional staff and the procedures are strictly enforced for everyone's safety. Super clean facility as well. I was nervous about this initially, but staff made me feel safe and comfortable. It gets busy if you got at peak times/weekends, but staff handle impatient people very well and deserve an award for that. A very hardworking group that stays late to ensure everyone is seen and able to donate. I've been back many times and will continue to! read more

Tried this, you have to pass a screening first, and depends on who your screener is that you pass, once you do get passed you wait an hour then your stuck by inexperienced techs and your in pain, uncomfortable. Really not worth 6 hours of your week for very little $ that they make $1000 on. Try the Muncie site before here read more

I have had nothing but bad experiences here. The staff at the front desk are always rude and treat everyone like they are better than them. I come here to donate plasma for a good cause, the twenty dollars they give you for donating is chump change in my mind and it doesnt matter to me at all. Donating is something I do to give back to the community, the way talecris employees treat you make you feel awful and I regret ever donating with them. From now on I will be donating somewhere else. I hope something is done about this for poor donors in the future. read more

I kept hearing my co worker talking about how her daughter's life was saved by a blood transfusion. She donates regularly for this very reason. I usually don't pick up when they call but this time I did and I booked my appointment on the spot. Everyone was very nice and patient with me. There was several signs with testimonials about how they were saved or their child was saved. So I knew I was doing the right thing. I won't lie and say it didn't hurt cause it did. But it was worth it if I am able to save a life. Did I mention the snack bar?? After your donation you are advised to sit and eat a snack before you leave. Consider donating......it can save a life.

I'm writing this after my 8th donation as a review of my overall experience. I am currently someone…read morewho has a lot of free time on my hands, so take that with a grain of salt. The staff have always been polite and are often friendly. They seem competent, though there were some inconsistencies. Of the 8 visits, 3 sticks had to be redone on the other arm due to an improper stick. I bruised after 4 of them. Sometimes bruises were considered passable, and sometimes the same bruises days later were enough for them to turn me away. That was dependent on the nurse who looked over them. I did pass out once, and was vocal about this after every subsequent donation so they knew to turn down my return. Wait times are always long. I think the longest donation visit was about 2.5 hours, my shortest about an hour and 15. On average, I would prepare to spend at least 1.5 hours here. This was fine since I go on my free days, but if I were working full time again it wouldn't be as doable. The benefits of donating (other than helping make pharmaceuticals for the company that's collecting) is pretty good. Monetary incentives for new patients are usually great. In other places I've donated previously, snacks and drinks are always available. That is not the case here, and they seem to only be available if you pass out. I was a bit bummed about this. Additionally, all they have for you to squeeze are old gauze centers which do the trick, but aren't great. Overall, I would say that if you're looking for some side money, are not super squeamish, and have plenty of time, I'd suggest going to BioLife.

They explained things really clearly and made me feel super comfortable for my first donation experience. I was also comforted by the extensive onboarding process; it was nice to know how legitimate this business is and how much they care about the safety of donors and patients. I had virtually no wait at all since I went early on a weekday morning. The whole process (including my physical exam and longer questionnaire) took about 2 hours. The plasma donation process itself took me 37 minutes, but they told me that it normally takes closer to an hour. I'll be going Friday afternoon for my second donation and expect that it may be a bit busier. Overall, great experience!

I don't know why anyone complains about this place as I have been going here for quite sometime now and other then a tad bit of a wait (which only happened once as a first time donor), I haven't had anything other then a pleasant experience! Misty and the other girls from the front office are very nice, informational and rather quick! Raven and Candy...hell, any of the people in the back are gentle and make the experience as fun as they possibly can, considering the situation. Although I haven't been to any other plasma center...I have been told that they also pay $10 or more a month...then anyone else! I'd like to add that ALL the staff at Telecris are kind, caring, and polite. During screening Morgan is fast & efficient, as are Kasey, Kim and Kandi. The phlebotomists are very conscientious. Casey and Jessica have been doing my sticks for a long time now and understand that my veins are difficult. Given that, they take their time & check to be sure I'm doing fine. read more
