I absolutely love this place. I've bought some of my favorite miniskirts & sweaters here. (They always snag me with their windows.) The styles are so unique. (They do all their buying in Europe.) it's definitely higher end, though I have also found some really great things on their sale rack. This is retail at its finest due to the personal attention. The owners are so sweet and very honest. (Plus, they have great taste.) They'll style you and happily bring you things if you'd like. I can always count on them - if something doesn't look good they'll let me know. I've also bought things off of their Instagram and they happily drop it off at my home in one of their gorgeous bags. I happened upon this store as it was on my way to an event. I don't live far, but haven't done a lot since Covid 19 hit us over 1 year ago. It's a beautiful warm and humid day in Chicago and the walk was good. The place is very quaint and small but well lit for shopping. It's a woman's boutique specializing in European clothing. The major designer is Solar and I have not heard of it, but designs are suited for a dressier woman. Thankfully that counts me in as I work in an office where jeans are not allowed and it's conservative so the weekends I can go casual. Back to the store the sizes are European and the lady at the counter (I am assuming is the owner) was very kind to tell me that 34 is usually x-small, 36 is small and 38 is medium. I'm usually a medium but some of her clothing allow for a 34 when I tried on a pair of white slacks. It had a great fit, but buying white is difficult because the material may be more revealing than you might like. Her clothes has many price points as she indicated and sales from the previous season is 20% off. Her summer selection drove me to walk in full of blight yellows, pink, and orange. My place to go to when I'm looking for the European fashion brands that are not necessarily famous but make original and unique clothes. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly. She will help you select something that will fit your sense of style but with an unexpected twist . I always end up buying a purse or a dress that gets tons of compliments every time I wear it. There is also one section of this boutique where you can find more office friendly (if you still care about that after 2020) clothes. This boutique is one of my personal favorites. This is where I have purchased some of my most treasured tops, miniskirts, and dresses. The area is quite charming and cozy, despite its modest size, and it is nicely lit for shopping. It is a shop for women that specializes in the apparel of European countries. If you want them to, they will give you a makeover and gladly bring you goods. When it comes to styling, I put a lot of trust in them since they have such a strong sense of fashion, which is why I trust them so much. I know I can depend on them to be honest with me if they see something that doesn't look quite right. They go to great measures to guarantee that the product they sell is on trend and will be favorably appreciated by the consumers they are trying to attract as customers. This shop is one of my favorites! Every time I go here, I always get excited because I know that they will have another set of new and unique designs of clothes. They always make sure that their merchandise is in trend and will be loved by their customers. They have a high quality of fabric for their t-shirt and any kind of products. The interior of the shop is nice too, has such a good theme inside and has a pleasant ambiance for everyone inside. The staff are nice too and always initiate conversation with their customers in case they have questions or what. And based on personal experience when I was inside this shop, I can say that they are accommodating and very friendly with the customers. The price is pretty expensive but still reasonable. The staff was so friendly. I came in on a freezing cold day absolutely filthy after biking in the snow to look for some clothes for an interview. The lady working literally came over to clean me off. I had never ventured into this boutique, tucked a bit off the beaten path on Chicago Avenue. Just a bit out of the main downtown shops area, and just a bit north of the shop around Dempster. The clothes in the window always looked really expensive--Way Out of My Price Range expensive. I was wandering around the area for Downtown Evanston's annual sidewalk sale, and saw the rack in front. Imagine my surprise and elation when I started perusing the outside rack and found item after item of unique, seemingly well-made items (tops, skirts, dresses) marked down to absolutely affordable prices. Inside the shop, as well, items were marked down to ranges that were even slightly below the average boutique. (Example: really lovely dress, normally $200, priced between 20 - 50% off.) There were certainly some REALLY special pieces that were quite a bit more, but from what I saw, I'm guessing an average range of $100-$200 before sale pricing. I highly recommend checking this shop out. The style is more refined and sophisticated than some of the other boutiques in Evanston, which cater a bit more to the college student. The clothing was quite stylish but still accessible to the young professional, though there were definitely some pieces that I think would suit women in their 40s and up. They also have an incredible range of sizes, which was most gratifying. None of the seemingly arbitrary S/M/L fare of the standard boutique, but a wide range of sizes (from petite up to 44, that I saw, perhaps even larger). The woman working there, who was likely an owner, was really lovely and just the right amount of involved (i.e. not intrusive or pushy, but helpful). The four star rating is mostly because I couldn't possibly afford to make this a regular haunt. If I need to get a special-occasion dress, I will absolutely come back here. I would be willing to pay the normal prices for a nice, remarkable piece. read more

This has to be the most beautiful womens boutique in Evanston, without a doubt. The owners have fantastic taste and great eye for unique, incredibly pretty European style clothes and contemporary jewelry. It is a bit pricey, but the quality of the garments justifies the price in my opinion. They have great sales so I always take advantage of that, and also they always seem to have a sales rack no matter the season. Both owners have always been pleasant and helpful, so I've never encountered any unpleasant staff as experienced by the other reviewer. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews of Talia, this is a store that is well worth a trip. If I could buy all my clothes here I would! read more
