Anyone who knows me well knows that I am completely obsessed with this shop. And I mean obsessed! It's honestly such a good thing that I don't live in Evanston, because it's possible I'd skip meals and spend my dinner budget on shopping. I recently purchased an item for a friend. I shopped online for the very first time, and though I missed the IRL experience (and getting the chance to say hello to Jaime), I got just as easily lost in the site...wanting to purchase something for everyone! The site was well organized, and super easy to navigate. I mean it was really easy. I picked out my item (that was the hardest part), put it in the cart, and I was prompted with the option to purchase a card with my item. I didn't purchase a card, but they did such a nice job of including a cute little gift tag to the item I purchased. I've purchased a ton of cards from Stumble & Relish. They have the best cards...totally worth it! So, what did I purchase for my friend? The most adorable rainbow *you are beautiful* cursive wooden carved desk plaque. If you're not familiar with the *you are beautiful* brand, all of their products will bring you great joy. In reference to a recent review, yes, the amount of people allowed into the shop is limited, but they do offer private shopping hours. And, if you call ahead, they can let you know how many people are currently in the shop. The store owner, Jaime, is perfectly accommodating and wants everyone to have the best shopping experience, ever! And, if you don't feel comfortable shopping in person, I suggest shopping online, but don't forget to pass by and peek through the window for an extra special bonus. Made my first visit to Stumble and Relish on Saturday. What an adorable shop, if I lived closer if definitely pop in all the time and rely on this place for unique gifts. I made the trip to pick up some free Yelp goodies and couldn't resist picking up some cute earrings too. They limit the amount of people in the store and do have curbside pick up. They have a website, but if you have time to pop in, the in store experience is so much better! I've already gotten so many compliments on my earrings and look forward to finding some time to pop back in again. read more

This such is such an adorable one! I enjoy collecting accessories, especially jewelries, which is why this store is a perfect match for my style and has become my go-to destination anytime I want to pamper myself. It's only a few blocks away from our house, so I can come and go as I like. It had only recently been recommended to me by my pretty neighbor, who also happens to be one of my friends, and I ran over here to take a look. And, much to my surprise, I was so amazed to see a large number of good quality products in this boutique. I received a great deal during my first visit, which made me really thrilled, despite the fact that it was pretty expensive. Just a few days ago, I stopped over to pick up a gift for a friend. Okay, this is THE cutest little boutique in Evanston, and you have to stop by if you are in town! I was walking down the street and was drawn in by these cute Evanston tote bags in the window. If you are looking for some Evanston or Chicago themed gear, this is the place for you. So many locally made products that are unique and adorable. I was looking for Evanston postcards and they had a nice selection! I picked up an Evanston card, Skokie, and Chicago for just $2 each. I also got an Evanston sticker for $3. They have a large range of things from onesies to tee shirts to magnets to coasters to leather embossed journals. Something for everyone. They also had these gorgeous black framed silver cutout maps of Chicago and Evanston that I loved. They also have these intricate Evanston and Chicago necklaces and earrings. This is the perfect shop to pick up some gifts for loved ones or for people visiting out of town! They also have a large selection of jewelry and bags of you are looking for something special for yourself. Treat yourself! I met the owner and she was so kind and nice and helpful. I will definitely be stopping by anytime I am in town! I love Evanston and this is the only store where I have ever found cute Evanston things! This has to be the coolest shop in Evanston. They have something for everyone and every possible occasion. Most recently, I went there shopping for some colorful jewelry for myself and for Mother's day gifts. They have stunning jewelry of all types from classic to more out-there styles. Previously I picked up a colorful bracelet to cover up a scar from my wrist surgery. Most recently I picked up the coolest earrings....maps of Evanston! They have maps of Chicago to and if earrings are your thing they have maps as a necklace! There is so much more beyond jewelry. Tons of decorations for the house, baby gifts, self-care gifts, and more. I really like these cool tea packets they have fun flavors and their candles smell so good. Hosting a party coming up or just need a new drink for date night? Check out the alcohol flavor maker things where you pick a flavor and add your liquor of choice and it makes a brand new drink for you! They also have fun cards for every occasion. One of my favorite things about the store does not only do they have Evanston Jewelry but they have all sorts of Evanston blankets, maps, and more to put around the house! read more

My cousin recommended me to pay visit in this store at least once, and it turned out to be a very interesting place to browse. That's why, I came here with some of my close friends just a week ago, and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of goods that they offer. They offer such a wide variety of one-of-a-kind items that virtually everyone will find at least some of them appealing. I was very intrigued by the earrings that were on display, and since I would really like to give them a try, I decided to purchase them as soon as it was possible to do so while I was helping my friends pick out some goodies. As we make our way out of this establishment, we discuss the items that we plan to buy next here. I have already been given a number of compliments on the earrings that I purchased, and I am looking forward to paying your shop another visit when I have the chance to do so. I received a gift card to this super cute store from a student. I had previously received an adorable pair of earrings from here (same student, the BEST!). This store is LGBTQ+ friendly and has merch to support. This is definitely going on my go to gift giving list of local shops. There is everything from cards to jewelry to bags and reusable household goods. I bought some reusable face cleansing pads, and sponge for my kitchen. A bunch of Evanston merch too. If you are looking for a "find" that you won't see anywhere else, THIS PLACE IS IT! I was next door at Perspectives Gallery and decided to finally take a look in Stumble & Relish. The windows have always beckoned me, but alas, I usually was too busy to take a look inside. On a beautiful sunny day, I decided to indulge myself. Soooo OMG, am I glad I did. This is a great place for gifts of any kind. Even ones where I plan to treat myself... I am eyeing that colorful jewelry (Hubby, see my pics!) Or I would love to make us some cocktails in those way so cool vintage glasses. I spoke to Jamie behind the counter who told me they fill the place with artisan crafted items. Well no wonder you find things that you don't see anywhere else. From hand knitted pink hats that would be great at any self respecting protest march, to cards and notebooks, to artwork, to tote bags and purses, to treasures for cool goodie bags, to the most incredible jewelry I've ever seen, this place is chock full of whatever floats your boat. Amazing. I drove by one evening last week while searching for small gifts for some beloved (but tough to shop for) coworkers. I was instantly smitten. Everything is so amazing. Airplants, cards, scarves, bags, amazing jewelery, glassware, I wanted it all. And it definitely piqued my interest, which is why I went inside without a second thought after seeing it. If I lived closer to this location, I would definitely stop in more frequently and rely on this store for one-of-a-kind gifts. I picked up some adorable earrings as well as gifts for my niece and my adorable cousins. They have a large selection of products that are both cute and adorable. And the ambiance inside is incredibly peaceful and pleasant. I am not normally a tiny boutique person, but I stumbled (ha!) upon this place after brunch and I don't think I've ever whipped out my credit card faster. The stuff in here is just so cute and well curated, and AFFORDABLE. do not be deterred by thinking, oh tiny boutique I cannot afford that! because you CAN. Also, there was a little necklace that I loved but wanted in a different metal, and the staff was just awesome about helping me. Not two days later, they emailed me to say they had gotten a new shipment and would hold the necklace I was looking for for a few days, or I could just pay over the phone and stop by at my leisure. This is the perfect shop to find thoughtful unique gifts for everyone on your list for any occasion. The window display of lots of tiny lights, paper chains, paper fans, and greeting cards was a wonderful first impression of more fantastic goodies inside. Upon entering, we were greeted with warm hellos and large smiles from the owners. They were such a lovely and friendly couple that I could just chat with for hours. As we explored the well organized displays, they offered a few tidbits of information about items we showed great interest in. It was so helpful especially when I looked confused trying to figure out what state a bottle cap holder was shaped as. Great gift for the beer drinker in your life! They have some many items of different types in different sizes and different but affordable prices. What immediately caught my eye was the great concentration of Chicago and Evanston items like art work, magnets, tote bags, glassware, notebooks, coasters, pins, and onesies, some handmade, but all made by local talent. I then realized that many of the items supported the local community, like "Evanston Made" and "You are Beautiful". How awesome. They have so many great items like greeting cards, purses, jewelry, candles, bath and body products like soap bombs and essential oils. All wonderful gifts for the hostess with the mostest in your neighborhood. They had a section of puzzle erasers, colored pencils, and coin purses that my daughter naturally gravitated toward. Those would be the cutest gifts for the little ones. I loved the products especially made for teachers that said, "I am a teacher, what's your superpower?". I'll have to return near Teacher Appreciate Week for those items. read more

They have a maximum capacity now of 3 people, which is totally nonsensical when most people shop in pairs (3 people ahead of us in line, one single and a couple, decided to leave). Not to mention there are 2 salespeople inside, one of whom would not give me the required covid berth when I went in. Meanwhile my 60 year old friend with a bad leg had to wait outside in the cold, and 2 women who were seriously Christmas shopping were not offered any kind of help. And then all of these small stores don't understand why they're going out of business and being outsold by the likes of Etsy and Amazon. Is it any wonder? read more

Just like the name entails, I Stumbled into this little shop and Relished at everything inside! I thought this was really the cutest store ever! As another Yelper described it, it's like a live Esty store :) Everything sold is made by an individual artist, and they all have really fascinating stories to tell! The owner Jaime, is very knowledgable about where the items come from and the history of the particular artist that created it. And she should know, because she is the one that directly speaks with these sellers! I've always loved mom & pop shops (in this case mother/daughter shop!) - Stumble & Relish exhibits the same kind of caring and thoughfulness put into the items they sell. I just stopped into their new shop (right next door to where they used to be). Love the new set up! I bought a gift for my mom (ultra suede lace bracelet) and a gift for myself (faux leather purse that fits an iPad). I love all the Chicago and Evanston themed gifts - it's great to bring something like that when I travel to give to a business partner or a cousin or friend who moved away. I love that most of the stuff is made from local designers. I wanted to buy everything! It's a charming store filled with unique products that would make great gifts. Just driving by on Chicago Avenue, I was enticed to find a place to park on a snowy afternoon and wander in. I found out that they'd only been open a week--which explains why I hadn't seen this sweet little shop before. You walk in and are greeted by the owners--and the creative, bold displays and color treatments throughout this shop. It reminds me of a little European shop, both in size and style. Jewelry, pottery, soft goods, greeting cards, soaps, small wood curios are what I admired most. These are "home grown" artists, much like you'd find on Etsy--without the enjoyment of wandering through a lovely little shop while snow is falling outside to take it all in. The whole thing has an artist's touch (and the gift-wrapping fits right in with the store's lovely palette). read more
