Went in for lunch with my daughter and the food was amazing. I was skeptical of getting the shrimp fajita because they are never seasoned when I order them at other places. The shrimp were large and seasoned to the Gods!!! Not salty but seasoned to perfection. The sweet tea and complimentary salsa and dips were delicious as well. Which was El combo. this is a meal if you like a little bit of everything. The food is standard tex mex food. My favorite is the chile relleno. Ground beef mixed with green chiles topped with crispy toasted cheese. My wife had Al Pastor tacos. If you want street tacos i would recommend skipping the 15 bucks for 3 al pastor tacos. Not that great for the price. My other complaint was when we got our check i notice the price of my meal was 4 dollars higher than normal. Everytime i go i sub the chalupa for a taco and there is never an up charge but this time it looks like there was. If they were gonna charge me for the taco they should have just gave me my chalupa since a taco is less than 4 bucks. Tucked away hidden gem! Fiesta Maya is my new go to spot for Mexican food. Their prices are reasonable and their food is always amazing and customer service is prompt and friendly. I typically order the arroz con camarones (rice and shrimp), along with cheese dip or steak quesadilla. My bf usually ordered steak and cheese tacos. The rice and shrimp is packed with flavors and has a great serving of shrimp within the dish (I hate when the shrimp to rice ratio is disproportionate). I absolutely love their cheese dip and steak quesadillas too. The reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because I am not a fan of their salsa. I'll eat it, but I won't devour it. We went and the food was great but the service was not. Our waitress was rude, didn't refill drinks, and was just nasty. The restaurant was not full and we didn't ask for anything special. We ate paid the bill and left a small tip and went home. The next day I received an additional charge on my card. So did my cousin. I called the restaurant and the very rude waitress admitted to charging more because she said we didn't leave "enough" tip. I advised that was illegal and you can't just charge what you want in tip. She advised she doesn't work for free. And hung up in my face. My cousin called and asked to speak to a manager and the same lady advised the manager wouldn't be back until next week. I've been annoyed with their inconsistent food and service, so I've lowered my rating from 5 to 3. The host argued back and forth with me, several volleys insisting that I was wrong about what I ordered, until he looked at the ordering history and found that he was mistaken. He apologized, but it's a severe mistake to argue so adamantly when you were in fact wrong. This is a nice little hole in the wall place. When I first walked in, I was seated immediately and I was pleased at how clean every table was. Our server approached us almost as soon as we were seated and asked for our drink order. The chips and salsa followed right after (talk about timing). We were given some time to look over the menu because there was a lot that they had to offer... A LOT. I finally decided to order something and we received our food maybe 10-15 minutes later. Definitely a hidden gem that I found across the street from me about a year after I moved to the area. I always get their street tacos, chicken and steak with cheese, onions, cilantro and sour cream. They never disappoint even with take out. It does, though, seem like the portions are bigger when dining. The seasoning on both meats are perfect and they are very friendly here. For years I had followed my gut instinct of staying away from this place and now I know why. I ordered steak fajitas for take out and while I waited, I ordered a small margarita............since no one asked me what flavor, I had to walk over to the bar to make sure they made peach. It was empty on this weekday so it didn't take long for the food to come out. The peach margarita was more of a lime taste since he assumed that's what I wanted initially, he didn't start over just added peach flavoring. Once I got home I realized I had chicken fajita's eventhough my receipt said 'steak', but no big deal same price. The chicken tasted really weird, and had the worst after taste.........chips and salsa were mediocre. Follow your gut and keep it moving, this place is not what you want. read more

Not watered down, or full of sour mix but actually had a good amount of the good stuff...just like I like them!!! And for that price how can you say no??? The chips were hot and the salsa had a little bit of kick, chucks of tomatoes and seasoning and it tasted really fresh. Not the best salsa I've ever had at a Mexican joint...but it was pretty good....they bring it out in a small container and everyone gets their own bowl to enjoy! I decided to try the Shrimp Fajitas and they came out sizzling!!! Can you say YUM!!! I wanted to give five stars but I couldn't. Lack of consistency and stingy up-charges are in the way. The weekday lunch specials are always the same five items in the same sequence. Tuesday is enchiladas verdes. I ordered the special. I substitute rice for all beans on the side. They charge too much for extras. Carry out costs and addition .30, that is 5% hike on the special. I wanted extra verde sauce on the enchiladas but they wanted another $1. That is over 16% price increase. Most other places will give you some extra cheese, sour cream, or sauce for free so long as it already comes with the entree in some quantity. I eat here every week and the quality differs greatly. Two weeks ago the chicken enchiladas had huge chunks of unseasoned chicken, this week is was orange with seasoning but very stringy. I wish it was a bit more consistent and that they didn't charge you for all the extras (carry out being one of those extras). They have coupons but you have to buy two drinks so in the end it is basically a coupon for free drinks. You will never save a dime on your entrees. read more

They came with a small salad of lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole. I like the chicken taquitos better than the beef. The meal comes with 4 large taquitos. They also have fresh baked(?) chips. This was the worst dining experience I've probably ever had in my life, and I've been to a ton of Mexican restaurants and restaurants in general, so that's saying something. Once we got inside and were seated, our waitress took our drink orders. So, fast forward 15 minutes later, when my friends had their fountain drinks but my margarita was nowhere in sight. Okay, odd for a margarita but whatever. I tasted it and was blown away by the overwhelming taste of vodka. Yes, vodka. In a margarita. I've had many a margarita in my day and I know the difference in tequila and vodka. So, I went up to the bar and asked the bartender what was in it, because it even smelled of vodka, and he argued with me that it was most definitely tequila. Okay, fine. My drink was way too strong and disgusting to even drink, so I maybe finished 2 full sips. The waitress came back knowing i was unhappy with my drink and didn't offer to fix it, make another one, and even put it on my tab. I kindly requested she take it off considering it was undrinkable.
