Came for lunch with a friend and I just want to tell my taco lovers, this place is fantastic. Ducked off in a quaint plaza this is the ideal spot for an afternoon taco delight. Don't feel the pressure to stand in front of someone an order, take your time and order at the kiosk. Beware, you will want to try everything. The portion sizes are HUGE. So don't be greedy like we did and order so much food. Let's start with street tacos. Holy Mexico, the corn, avocado, steak and cheese deliciousness was everything I did not know I need. The horchata, tasted like arroz con leche. Iykyk. The quesabirria was fantastic. I added some lime and cebolla (onions) on top. The consume was a little on the watery/bland side but the quesadilla was fantastic. And now the star of the show was the damn biscoff churros. The flavor the syrup the crunch, the hot, it's pure bliss in your mouth. You have to try it. This review is sounding a little provocative. Come here and enjoy indoor or outdoor seating. I had a nice time at Talkin Tacos in Davie. I'm giving this location 3 stars for a few reasons. 1) Payment Process - the tablet wasn't working with my credit card which was annoying we had to get someone to help us. 2) They didn't have Yuca fries!! Like what?! Every other location has and I've ordered them. They're really good. Food: My go-to order is the Mahi Mahi Tacos. They were delicious! This time we got a side of Mexican Corn which was also delicious. I shared the plate with my mom and we had a nice time. read more

Decided to finally try Talkin Tacos after leaving on Cinco de Majo, because it was so packed the line was ridiculously long. I ordered the trio taco sampler and selected; Al pastor, Caribbean , Carne Asada. My least favorite was the Caribbean because of the sweet plantains, the flavors do not mix well with a sweet cream added on the top; Nope, did not like. The Al pastor was good but nothing special. The best one was the traditional Carne Asada. I specifically requested no onions on my order and upon arrival to ensure it had no onions. I open the box in the car and the first thing loaded to the top was onions! Yuck! My stomach has been upset since my taco consumption. Front desk was super nice, she said if we needed anything to ask her. Ordered food at 8:30 and didn't get it till probably 30ish mins later. So I guess don't come hungry if you don't want to wait. We did the taco deal where you order 2 tacos, 1 entree, & 2 drinks and Side of chips for $20. We ordered guacamole for $7, it comes with a lot of guac, so very shareable between 2-3 people. I actually enjoyed the mahi taco, it was delish. The guacamole was also very good. The 2 drinks were your choice flavors of jarritos, or water, fountain drinks. The ambiance was spacious, very bright lighting, neon, electric, artsy vibe. A couple of weeks ago, I was craving ramen and saw Talking Tacos on Uber Eats. Though I didn't order then, a coworker raved about it. Since it's all over social media and expanding to many new locations, we decided to try it today! I visited Talking Tacos with coworkers. It's in a convenient plaza with easy parking, casual vibe, and indoor/outdoor seating. I loved the self-service kiosks for card payments. Food-wise: The street corn nachos with steak were a 10/10. I only had one nacho, but that one bite was packed with flavor. My birria tacos were a 4--disappointing--and they arrived last despite ordering first. The taco salad was a 7. I tasted the birria ramen broth--just okay. We had Biscoff churros and guava-and-cheese churros--fresh, but the cinnamon and sugar overpowered the fillings. I'll return for those nachos, but I'll skip the birria--unless I try the quesadillas. read more

Yay new location of Talkin Tacos in Davie! So delicious!!! Elote in a cup is ELITE and I was happy to enjoy it with the chips that came with the chicken burrito! ++chicken burrito ++carne asada tacos ++elote in a cup ++guacamole Service was fast, it was busy and my food came before the text to say it was ready came. You order at the self-service kiosk and the team was kind bringing out everything you need. I tested this place out from a recommendation, and I am not disappointed. I came in at 1:45 and they served the most fresh food I have ever had. Very friendly environment, cool lights! I've been to another location years ago and remember loving the birria so I was so happy this one opened up closer to home. We tried many things including the dip trio, birria quesadilla, a carne asada taco, the bang bang shrimp taco, birria ramen, and the elote cup. Everything was very good! It all seemed very fresh too. I was impressed with how quickly our food was served, especially considering how fresh and well-prepared everything was.

My bf and I live down the street from this new location and we were so excited for them to open. We came Saturday night around 7pm planning to dine in. We arrived at the restaurant and first of all, the doors are so heavy and hard to open. You think the door is locked but really you have to pull really hard just FYI. We watched everyone struggle to open the door. Secondly, there was a family dining in and they had small kids running around and screaming all over the restaurant. Lastly, an employee was sweeping the floor and kept banging the chairs against the table and just being really loud. To top it off, they had a bug infestation and there were multiple small moths flying inside around the black lights. An employee even stood on a chair and tried to kill the bugs with no luck. Due to all this, we decided to order to go and eat at home because all this really turned us off from eating inside the restaurant. After placing our orders using their self order tablet, we waited around 15 min for the food to be ready. I ordered the birria stack wrap and my bf ordered the steak stack wrap. The food was good but nothing out of this world. We're hoping we can go dine in one night and it will be a less chaotic experience. read more

The food was great, but the ordering process was not explained.I came in, I was greeted, and I stood there, and then I noticed just by looking around that other people were going to the kiosk.So that was interesting, whereas at the one in fort lauderdale, the lady showed me where everything was, and all that stuff she saw the confusion and addressed it, I ordered, and then the guy at the register, was he was doing his thing.But it seemed like the priority was on the pickup people, and not the people that were there.The folks who were sitting in the restaurant came up and got what they needed.And that was fine.He was attentive to them.But it was just very interesting.It seemed to take a long time for my food to get put to me.But then another guy came on duty, just as the last of the people waiting even the people that had ordered ahead of me.And left left, and he gave me my food, and I said to him, I said, why did it take so long?And he said, well, I it wasn't here, and all that.And I said that doesn't make it any sense, but anyway, i took my food and I went, i'm just gonna go to the fort lauderdal, one or maybe it's just the timing I don't know, maybe there could have been really busy, but I think there needs to be focus equal focus on both paying customers.You know what I mean. read more

We order our food online and it was supposed to be ready at 7:09 and didn't get it till 7:29. Not only was the food cold, they barely gave is the right portion for the consommé, the service was horrible they ignored us and did not check to see if our order was ready they said they were waiting on one more thing but it was ready and just sitting there. read more
