It's a brilliant indoor-outdoor craft beer/wine store and sports bar.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love coming here to work in the afternoon because it's super quiet, then stay for an excellent craft beer and burger.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ([[HIGHLIGHT]]Kind dogs welcome and encouraged.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]) The owner Tom is a diehard Dodgers fan who makes the best smash cheeseburgers for miles. (Literally. My husband has tried them all.) Be sure to call ahead to see if they're firing up the grill. This week was Thursday + Saturday. They've started doing oysters other nights. Chips are included. Price can't be beat. The whole team here is amazing--Tom's incredible wife, bartender Ben and all the other bar "magicians." They have an incredible selection of craft beer and wine to take away, too. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had the good fortune of watching the Dodgers win the final game of the 2025 World Series here--and they passed out confetti canons and champagne in celebration. Absolutely one of my favorite beer bars! They have several beers on tap also entire fridges full of beer you can grab and drink on site with an added corkage fee. Bartenders are very friendly and not shy to strike a conversation. I wish to thank the management of Talon Tap for asking a Patron that parked their (chopper) motorcycle in the handicapped parking spot to move it. They were asked to move it, but after going to move it and they see no parking spots available, they tried to leave it parked there. When I thanked the employee for doing that, the person thought it was the employee was the person that said something. I only wish that a Police officer had been around to give them the $250 rewards that they deserve. There was another motorcycle that parked there a bit earlier and was asked to move it and they did so graciously. The good news is the parking space was now available for a disabled person to use. read more
