This place is beautiful! And the bartenders there are very helpful and friendly. I didn't order food besides the chips and guacamole but even that was delicious. I'll be returning for sure

I'm could not possibly say ENOUGH good things about my experience with Nativo in planning our Bachelorette Dinner. I worked with Veronica, the Event Coordinator, Marlene, the Beverage Director, on the plans ahead of time, and they were everything you want in coordinating something like this - helpful, gracious, communicative, and clear! Nativo has INCREDIBLE options for parties, and they have thought of everything! I also really appreciated the transparent costs on everything and how well it was laid out for us. I swear, I've been bragging about my planning experience with this place with anyone who will listen. Then, the night of our actual event was just perfect! We had a great room space all to ourselves, a dedicated server, and they even got the heater working for us on our request! The chips and guacamole here are to die for. I could have just eaten that all night. Our food and drinks were all amazing, and we somehow made room for the delicious churros and ice cream! All in all, 10 out of 10 from me and our party, and we will all be returning to the restaurant any time we can!

Cocktails are 10/10! Service is 10/10! Perfect for large groups and outside seating is cool and spacious! Outside heaters available too.

Great food, service and ambiance. There was a pop up event at this location and it was great.

My favorite neighborhood bar. Nativo is a gem if you haven't already been. Everything from the decor to the drinks to the glassware to the layout is curated to perfection. The service is impeccable, they have professional mixologists who know exactly how to make a well balanced drink. This is a stark contrast to other bars in the area that pale in comparison. The taste of the food and drink has always been consistent, my go-to drink is the Penicillin. Nativo has a back lounge area with ample seating for large groups and the murals of Frida on the walls add a lovely touch. They have DJs that play good music, conversations are easy and the mood is dialed in. The food kicks ass, the Mexican cuisine is flawless and you'd be doing yourself a huge disservice if you don't check this place out.

I have been back several times since my first visit and while I have my favorites, today I had the Chile Relleno and WOW. It was so full of flavor, they use two different types of cheese, panela and mozzarella...that combination is incredible. I also had the Hibiscus Daisy...it is my new favorite drink, the hibiscus is refreshing and perfect for these hot summer afternoons.

What a cute bar. Small and intimate. We came in for a quick cocktail. I ordered the Oaxacan milk punch. Loved it. Light and refreshing. The whole story about how they make it is very interesting. My husband ordered the Penicillin and really liked it too. Ordered some salsa and chips even though we had already had dinner. Because the smell of the food wafting from the nearby tables was killing us. Chips were good without being oily. Salsa was made in house. I have to come back for dinner, their menu looked good. Our server, Edwin S was great. Very helpful with descriptions of the cocktails.

Came here the first time for our staff holiday party, had a great time. Good food, great drinks and cool vibes. The layout of the place is awesome with the inside/outside set up. The staff are super helpful and courteous and provided several suggestions at the bar. We had a specially selected menu for the party. Needless to say, with endless mole chicken, tomatillo enchiladas, arroz and frioles, I was good and full. I had a great time hanging out with my coworkers and appreciated the Nativo Team for the hospitality.

came at night to grab a drink and dessert. The ambiance is great with low lighting and plenty of space to sit and socialize with friends. the drinks were strong and delicious as well as the vanilla flan. very cool and aesthetic bar, would come back! all bartenders and staff were very kind too.

Now when you pull up originally you might think, "am I in the right place" but once you park and get into the courtyard, it is LOVELY! Amazing ambience! There is a bocce set up, string lights. It is a little slice of oasis in the middle of the fashion district. The restaurant itself - beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Absolutely perfect in my book. Beautiful plants hanging, perfect Spanish music in the background (any place playing Natalia LaFourcade is a win). The drinks were great! I had the jungle bird which was fun. Food was so good too. The whipped beans are the star! We had the guacamole which was tasty, great tostadas with it. The arepas were good but the pork belly was a little too fatty (I know pork belly is always fatty) to the point the fat muted the flavored for the arepa a bit, but still delicious. The empanadas were great and as someone who lived in South America and ate empanadas every day, these really took me back to my Paraguay days. The squash blossoms were light and perfectly fried. Unfortunately my friends had gone to Funke the night before so they were comparing the squash blossoms and Funke won out, but they still liked Dama's! Small plates were enough for the 3 of us. The service was quick and attentive. Parking was easy for us. I will definitely be back!

The staff are lovely humans who really seem to care about their customers. We have some faves on the menu. The bean dip is fabulous and I'm addicted to the baby gem salad. They have recently amped up the filling in the delicious crispy squash blossoms and I love the acidity and heat. The fish is also a hit in my books. One dish that doesn't work for me is the lamb chops, which is a shame since it's my favorite protein. I've ordered them multiple times with clear instructions on temperature and have found them overcooked and tough. The beef tostada was just ok. Whilst I loved the pickled veg on the side, the beef was underseasoned. It wasn't bad - just not up to the standard of other dishes. The vibe in the place is welcoming and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We will continue to be regulars and it's really worth trying if you haven't been yet.

They guide you to the entrance which about one hundred feet north. Walking in you're shown many awards, culminating in a 2025 Michelin. There must have been a special occasion to be welcomed by music that was incredibly loud. We sat down, and I couldn't hear myself think, or the waiters voices. We asked for another table, but unfortunately that brought a certain type of attitude from the host. I'm sure the music would have been nice if it wasn't as loud, on amplified speakers. After finally being seated, near the bar, the service seemed great. Seating seemed plentiful, but I can now see why a reservation is necessary. To start, the appetizer we chose was a queso fundido which was ok on their smaller tortillas. I must have been spoiled by Chalio's homemade giant tortillas. Chalio's on Atlantic by the way. Guelageutza uses sautéed mushrooms, and they garnished it with this guacamole that didn't really taste that good. Mushrooms on the fundido didn't seem right, but individually they tasted great. The chorizo was ok. My gf likes to try those types of apps. They're not known for that, so I can let it pass. Our order was taken, food was quick, and hot. The attentiveness of the staff was good, but their smiles were absent. Must have had a long day. I got the black Mole chicken, my gf got the enchilada negras(black mole) topped with their tesajo. My dish was good, hot, and full of mole, which was delicious as well. They served it with their tiny homemade corn tortillas. They have several types of mole. My gf got the enchiladas Oaxaceñas and it looked good until I took a bite of the enchiladas. They just poured mole over the tortillas and that's where the flavor went flat. The tortillas were dry and not dipped in the sauce. Traditionally in my family, we fry our tortillas lightly in oil, or lard, and roll them in the sauce. My gf didn't even finish them. I ate all of my meal, and I took her enchiladas home. They were even worse as leftovers. I tried to order their traditional flan, but they had ran out, so I ordered their tres leches. It was ok. I was really disappointed that they ran out of flan though. All in all, this establishment was ok. The atmosphere seemed very manufactured, but I've never had the pleasure of visiting Oaxaca. The mole negro was delicious on the chicken. Seeing that It was recommended on Yelp, I agreed with the statement of picking that dish. The bathrooms were great with a good amount of stalls. I can't say that about a lot of good delicious Mexican food restaurants here in LA. They seem to be more of an afterthought with some. Reminding myself this was Michelin rated restaurant, I didn't get that same feeling with the food though. This now, will give me an excuse to look into why a restaurant is rated as such to understand why that matters so much.
