This place definitely goes unnoticed. The menu isn't huge but I've honestly never had anything on it that wasn't pretty good. They have a nice patio that is pretty low-key and laid back with games and a TV. They also have had some pretty good live music when I've been there. Definitely worth a try! read more

I came here early on a Thursday and people were just starting to come in. The place has mixed furniture designs which made it unique. Jo the bartender was awesome. She made a very good old fashioned which is my go to drink. She also made good recommendations as far as food and places. I will be back to this spot. read more

Food was expensive for it being mediocre. My biggest gripe was the restaurant had the bartender waiting tables. This man was helping eight people at the bar, waiting on us, and other tables at the other end of the restaurant, outside. Needless to say, service was slow. Staff was not especially friendly. We are long time local customers who always tip at least 20%. I really don't know why. The help is really unfriendly and overwhelmed. The food is good for bar food. Last week after I stood waiting for a free table I finally got a seat for my wife and out of town guests. The waitress came over to us and told us we had to leave because she reserved our table for someone else. No sign on the table and no sign telling customers to see a hostess to be seated. We were here on a Friday night for drinks, and were very impressed. The bartender was fantastic. He made rounds continually, so you weren't wanting for drinks at any point. What a gem! Hidden behind PF Changs, happy hour till seven. Not well known so there's a table available during peak dinner hour. Service was fast, friendly and fabulous. A variety of delicious food offerings. The Poké was fresh and served with some happy hour offerings Hummus and filled both my bride and I. We went again and it was much the same quality of service and food. To fill two adults with food and libation for $50 with tip and desert is quite remarkable. Well done Tamiami Tap! read more

This place is AWESOME! We went late on a weeknight after a movie. We were struggling to find a place that had a kitchen open at 10pm on a Thursday night and this new place popped up. It's only been open a few months and I see a lot of success in its future. The servers and bartender greeted us upon walking in and everyone was super friendly and attentive. They have a really nice looking patio that looks like a great place for after work drinks, a night out with friends or even a party. We ordered two of the craft cocktails. I ordered the PainKiller which had nutmeg sprinkled on top which was an interesting spin. I ordered Steal and Frites which was cooked perfectly with great flavors. Truly wonderful staff, service, environment, and food/drinks! A group of us attend their trivia nights every Wednesday and even on what is likely one of their busiest nights, the servers have your drinks replenished before you even realize you're running low and all have amazing memories of what everyone likes. We went to Tamiami Tap for the first time on Saturday shortly after they opened for the evening and we were warmly greeted by two of the staff. We sat outside and the seating was not fancy but comfortable. Our original thought was that we just wanted a drink and an appetizer but the drinks and chicken wings were so good and reasonably priced that we decided to order meals. My wife and I had grouper tacos and our daughter had a Cobb salad with smoked salmon. All were delicious! The wings were salty switched them out for naked wings and they were bland... if you're hungry find a different spot or try them during the day. The burger is like an elevated "Big Mac" and the house made dressing for the southwest salad was excellent (don't be afraid to pour a little of that on your burger to elevate it even further). This was our first time to Tamiami Tap. During this time of our country dealing with Covid we are doing a "Try it Out Tuesday" of visiting a restaurant that we have never been to before. We went early and ate on the covered patio. They have fans making it very comfortable. I had the Southwest Salad with added grilled chicken and it was delicious. It was slightly spicy and even had fresh corn. Husband had the sliders and French fries. Three sliders for $5. Unheard of and hubby said they were the best he's ever had.
