We enjoyed this taproom. The ambiance was great. Our server Justin was awesome! He took time with us and shared his favorite items on the menu. He even shared a little bit about himself and took time to ask us where we were from and our story. There were clearly some regulars that were there, but their staff and the owner made us feel right at home. My husband and I split our meals to enjoy some surf and turf. The French Dip prime rib sandwich by far won on these two dishes. The fish tacos were good as well, but the French Dip had lots of flavor and left us talking about it the next day. We enjoyed some good brews while we were there as well. Highly recommend the Breckinridge Vanilla Porter if it's on tap. We are going to try to fit in another visit before we head back to Indiana. read more

Food is good, customer service isn't great. There's a yelp check in offer for a free appetizer.... no restrictions listed anywhere for it. I ordered it to go, when I went to pick it up the waitress rudely said "that's for dine in only". There's a lot nicer ways of saying it, and if that's the case maybe you should put that on the coupon under a restriction. read more

Been here a few times, and I'm a fan. Seems like they've done a revamp over the past year to simplify the decor. Seems a little bare now. They're salads are very nice, and the bloody Mary's are fantastic. I stopped in for the prime rib recently. The accompanying salad and veggie (broccoli) were great. The meat was pretty good, though a little fatty and seemingly small for the money (I requested the largest size). This place seems to be unsure whether it's more bar or restaurant. I was compelled to sit and eat at the crowded bar because the only waiter seemed more interested in chatting with his drunk bro at the bar than seating and serving customers. This place was okay. It's average bar food that's a little overpriced. They had a pretty decent selection of drafts, and the bartender was super nice and friendly. I just didn't think the food/menu was that special. The atmosphere of the place is really cute though, and they have a great outdoor seating area. read more

This is our neighborhood bar. We come here after work with our dog for salads and drinks. Football or sports is usually on outside. Attentive and friendly owner and servers. Really enjoy coming here! The salads are fresh and consistent. read more

We visited Tamiami Tap during Covid and were happy to see that it has weathered the "Covid storm ". We had wings -which were amazing and salads. Can't wait to go back and maybe try the Bloody Mary bar read more

My dining companion suggested we try this place. It is across Osprey Ave from PF Changs. Because the music was loud indoors (terrible acoustics), we sat out on the patio, which was very comfortable and relaxing. The amount of items on the ,menu was perfect. Too many places have too large of a selection. This leads to cooks and servers not being able to memorize the dishes and worse, often leads to food being kept for too long on unpopular items. Service was very good. My companion got the chicken tender wrap and said it was very good. It looked to be loaded with chicken tenders. I got the flat-iron steak, which was very good. It was tender, cooked perfectly and marinated in a subtle chimichurri sauce. The fries were shoe-string and coated with what looked to be bay seasoning. Not a huge fan of shoe-string fries, but there was nothing wrong with theirs. Will definitely be back to try the prime rib they sell on Fridays and Saturdays. read more

Great neighborhood restaurant. This is the 3rd restaurant to occupy this space since we moved to Sarasota full time. I think the owner (Mark) must have had an audio device planted in our condo because my husband and I have had multiple discussions about how we wish a really good neighborhood restaurant would occupy this space. Nothing fancy, just a great simple, well prepared menu along with the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail (they have a full bar, beer and wine). We ordered the prime rib (served on Fri & Sat only) and it was wonderful and at a very fair price ($17 for the 8 oz portion.). The wait staff is very efficient and friendly and the ambiance is comfortable and welcoming. We'll be dining at the TAP often. read more

A new place I decided to check out as I was bored on a saturday nice simply on tap and location close to the arts area of downtown. I was indifferent as to whether this is great or normal so had to go normal visit nothing blew my mind on service or prices or anything of you like bloody Mary's or mimosas they do have a weekend all you can drink price which is nice I just partook in the beer the waitress in a long ponytail seemed nice and always smiling during the afternoon I will try this place again before I commit a recommendation or not read more

Stopped here on a Saturday afternoon while visiting Fleet Feet and Molly's next door man am I glad I did!! The IMPOSSIBLE TACOS really amazed me! They are vegan with impossible ground and a ton of flavor! You CAN NOT tell the difference in the meat and it sat so nice and light in my stomach! A wonderful selection of drafts. The best chicken tenders ever - crispy on the outside and juicy inside. A great indoor/outdoor scene for watching games or playing giant version of games like Jenga. I live in the neighborhood and I wanted to check out the new eatery. I ate outside on their patio this evening on this beautiful night. The food is very good and they have a happy hour. I brought my own gluten-free bread as they did not have any but they said they would be getting some soon.The service from my waiter Rayne was wonderful . I brought my dog and they were attentive and brought him water and they have a dog menu. It was a lovely experience and I will be going back with friends very soon read more

This place is a great late night bar for the boys to hang out while also enjoying creamy yet spicy guacamole. In the same appetizer, the salsa was not too chunky and had lots of flavor with a kick. The drink selection is great from bud light to bloody marys. They also had lemonade to provide some variety in drinks for people that aren't into alcohol. Something that surprised me was that they had the impossible burger (plant based burger) and the taco was great. The service is on point the waitress constantly refilled drinks and asked if we needed anything else. Everything was great here. No complaints. read more
