We were redoing our kitchen and bathrooms and in the market for some new tiles. Our contractor recommended Tamiami Tile, so we decided to go by and check it out. My wife and I really loved the selection, it was fantastic, much better than the other tile places we found on our own. The showroom was also well organized which made it easy to look through all of the styles without being overwhelmed. I also like that the workers there were not all over you, they let us browse in peace and that's a huge plus. Pricing was pretty good and service was solid too. They processed the order and delivered it right on time so the workers had the materials right when they expected. I would definitely recommend Tamiami Tile. Job well done. read more

Our kitchen designer recommended this place to us. We went in without an appointment. To be fair, we knew exactly what we wanted and we knew this place carried the style we needed so it was an easy process. After checking in and walking around this immense store, we met with Scott. He helped us confirm the square footage we needed and helped us order everything. He was patient when we called the designer right there to triple confirm the square footage (hubby was convinced it should me more lol) and everything was smooth. If you can't find nice tile anywhere else than go here. Nice selection Jon was helpful when buying but a little nasty when I wanted to return extra box of tile. It was my mistake to bring back a full box because the invoice does say no returns. I didn't see that until I went back there. However I would suggest purchasing tile from Floor and Decor or other stores that take returns. read more

Purchased 2100 square feet of 36" square porcelain white tiles. None of the tiles ma different dye lots. Tikes are also cheap and cracking. Owner came to see and said he would make a settlement with me. He ran me around for months and won't give me a cent. He offered 24 free tiles. No labour included. Problem is that there are more than 100 bad tiles and to replace them, the tiles surrounding them would crack and ch and as its aa huge messy job. Disgusting service and cheap tiles. Terrible company. Do not use any vendor they suggest, they do not vet them. My glass tiled wall has material/installation issues and is a failure. The owner of Tamiami told me its not his problem. Now I am stuck between Tamiami and the installer, each pointing fingers at each other.. With me being out $4,000. Tamiami doesn't care. There are plenty of tile companies to deal with, I suggest you read the reviews and run. read more

No doubt some very nice tile, but staff is not friendly and they charge both a freight change (and be careful here as what they quote you on purchase may be less than what you pay when you still pick it up from their store) and a fuel surcharge. Front desk staff never smiles and acts as if they are doing you a favor to help you. Other staff are also not friendly, although they do their job. Strongly recommend finding another place if you want your experience to be a positive one. read more

IVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO RUDELY IN MY LIFE! This establishment doesn't care if you have health issues and have doctors letter and exempt card. They were without compassion that I have to work to pay my bills. I needed one tile and I stayed 8' away from everyone. This man Waldorf came out yelling at me to leave. I spoke calmly telling him I cannot wear mask I'm exempt medically. He didn't care at all started poking me and shoving me towards the door. I would not shop here, if they don't have empathy, they don't deserve my business. There's other places that are more accommodating. Flooring World in Pompano treated me with much respect. Horrible customer service. I have been a repeat customer. Tile came in the wrong color 2X. Manufacturers rep agreed. Tiles had to be removed and sheet rock walls had to be replaced. Lisa came to house helped pick out new tile. Told us not to worry then... Nothing! No recourse! No tiles- no credit for all my repairs- which I was told would take place. Ghosted!!! When I asked should I call my lawyer- was told do what you have to do! Shameful. Go to D&B tile. read more

I wish I could give it no stars at all. They have a nice selection of tiles, the sales rep Jason was helpful, however, they promised the tiles would arrive in 2-3 business days, and we are now going into the 3rd WEEK! I already PAID and can't get a straight answer. It's incredibly frustrating. As a side note, when I first went there, I did witness another sales rep (a woman) be just downright NASTY to a lovely couple that had walked in and needed help. She was so rude, rolled her eyes and refused to see them, just really nasty. I wonder how she ever sells anything at all. I had the difficult task of searching for tile for my Boca Raton condo while I am situated in Massachusetts. Scott answered a plethora of questions and patiently sent me pictures and price quotes. This company does not accept returns of unused/unopened boxes of tile so you are better off going to Floor and Decor where you can return unused tile. The design help and selection are good. read more

Will never shop there again! Customer service is the absolute worst. Waited 20 minutes for one person to get off the phone while two other "good for nothings" sat there. I went to Floor & Decor and they couldn't do enough for me. Now I where to go the next time. read more

Don't even set foot in this place. Although they have beautiful tile their attitude toward customers leaves much to be desired. Jason, the sales person, is the definition of rude. His attitude toward customers is totally disgusting. My initial contact with Jason was via phone. I simply asked what time the store opened and if he was going to be there. He informed me that he had an appointment that would last 2 hours and he "needs more than 20 minutes notice". Hey, Jason, all I did was ask if you were going to be there. He suggested I come in around 11am. I told him 11 30 worked better for me. Fine. Since things changed for me, I arrived at 11am and told a man at the desk that I was there, albeit early. He told me he would tell Jason. I saw Jason standing within earshot, not doing anything. He looked at me then ran into a back room. As I wandered around the showroom Jason came out of the back room, knew who I was, knew I had an appointment, yet chose to make a personal phone call at his desk in front of where I was standing. By 11 15 he still refused to wait on me, busying himself at his desk. I asked if he was ready for me and he copped an attitude that "as we discussed earlier" I can't give him 10 minutes notice. Hey, Jason, you weren't busy and even offered me an 11am appointment. The man that had been at the desk then copped an attitude and told me that I was walking around the showroom and he "didn't have time" to tell Jason I was there. First, Jason KNEW I was there. Second, this man had been sitting at the desk with Jason talking yet he "didn't have time to tell him"? No way would I deal with this company. A company is only as good as it's representatives and these 2 people were a poor representation. read more

Unfortunately they have the best selection, but also the worst customer service and EXPENSIVE. 3-4times more then competitors. Jason is not upfront about anything we discussed. Delivery charges cost us 26% of the total bill. Of the delivery change he tacked on an additional $100 stating the it shipment was coming in from VA and was changed to CA. That is a huge price difference when you are on a strict budget. He should have disclosed this and given us the option to not take it or offer a courtesy credit of some sort in good faith. Neither were an option. He should have at least produced a shipping bill, so it did not come across completely shady. Bottom line, the sales staff poorly represent the beautiful tile they have. You have no value as a customer and thats not way to keep clients. They should really hire more friendly staff. They will eventually insult enough of the wrong people lose their business reputation. My husband and I came there to look at tile to redo our whole house. We are amazed at the selection they had not only for floor tile but also for shower tile, back splash, and decorative tile. The help we were given to help us choose our selection and help us match was such a big help. They were so helpful with everything down to grout color for shower tile and floor tile. We had an awful experience. Of the 37 high end tiles we purchased 35 were damaged. When I brought them back unopened and in the original packaging Jason said they were industry standard and we could only return the broken ones because they were special ordered. Both our installer and another retailer said they were not up to standard. We returned five tiles and never received the promised credit so I disputed the charge via Amex. Our installer said we needed the five tiles and went back to Tamiami to purchase They would only accept a cashiers check or cash because I disputed the charge. Bought the same tiles from another dealer $7.00 less per tile read more

Great selection, that's it. Poor customer service. Poor follow up. Poor follow through. Go elsewhere and avoid the massive headache.

Had a sealed box of tiles that remained from my project. Returned it to Tamiami and was informed by Jason that they cannot accept it because they no longer have that "shade" of tile anymore. A few days later, I went back and found that the exact tile was still displayed in their showroom. I asked to speak to the owner who confirmed that they still have the tile for sale but did not offer to accept the return. That basically tells me that their policy is to "screw the customer". I would understand if they had a re-stocking charge but they flat out decline to accept return. If you think there is a possibility that you may have leftover tiles for return, look elsewhere. read more
