Only giving one star because i have to! Worst experience i have ever had. Came in last Sunday for a full set before i had to catch a flight they give me some new guy that's apparently only been there a few months. He asked me what color i wanted i show him and instead of telling me the color i picked was the "dip" color he just puts my nail tips on and proceeds to just dip my nails in the color. First off i didn't ask for that, second when i questioned what he was doing he got an attitude, half wiped the color off, then with the color still partially on my nail and finger tries to put acrylic over the nails. I made him take everything off! I decided to let him give me a pedicure in hopes that he wouldn't F that up...well let's just say after i got home that night my polish was chipped as if my feet had been done for weeks. I will never spend a dime in this place and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Next time you send someone to the new guy let the client know what they're getting themselves into! I am glad that I didn't my nails in this place. The attention looks terribly rude and inappropriate. I entered with my baby to see if I could make my nails... they said: "Come back in 10 minutes"but the smell was so strong to my baby so I decided schedule an appointment later and when I was to ask about it one of the ladies very rude said " we don't do it late no no no" in a tone very very rude. The nail tech didn't do what I wanted with the added gems because she said she couldn't and she told me this after she made sure to put on a crappy line of gems so she could charge me the extra charge... I asked her for an extra coat of polish because it looked str eaky and she said no that I didn't need it.. I wanted regular polish and she insisted on the gel of course since it is $10 extra the place is crowded and dirty and the the tech I had rude. I will not be going back! read more

I usually like this place because the prices are good and it's in a convenient location. However, this week Thuy I think her name was took her tools out of her "soiled" box. I told her she can't use soiled tools. She tells me sometimes they put clean stuff in their soiled boxes "don't worry" she says. I reply "well I am worried" so she then takes out clean warped tools. I went to the nail salon the other day with my mom and the customers were being very rude but the staff didn't lose their cool and keep being cherry and nice but the one thing I didn't like was that when I got my acrylic nails removed the lady used another fake nail to take it off and I was extremely painfull read more

Talk about great quality and customer service! I, like many, have been waiting for the shelter in place to lift to get my nails done and I was not disappointed. Even though they were busy, the wait wasn't long for a walk in. They took everyone's temperature upon entry and had a limited number of people inside at a time. They were clean and efficient and everyone inside was super friendly. When I got into my car, I messed up one of my nails without realizing it (I chose regular polish instead of gel) and they redid that nail without charging me anything when I came back a few hours later. My only complaint isn't even a big one - there was some miscommunication and they thought I wanted acrylic so they cut my nails even though I didn't want that. It is not a big deal and my nails will grow again so I'm not too worried about it. I will definitely come back for my future pedicures. Thank you for your awesome service! read more

Emily and David are very good in this salon. I like the variety of colors to chose from as well as the services they offer. I'm very picky when it comes to pedicures and I appreciate a nice massage since I only have one leg. Very important to pamper myself. These two are top notch!! read more

I've gone here once before and it was decent... this time was one of the worst experiences I've had. Made an appt for 2 people for a pedicure. First off, we waited 20 mins AFTER we were seated... no one ever came over to us. Just stared at us & took care of two people who came in after us. Horrible customer service. Also, while we waited we saw 2 huge crickets crawling around.. GROSS. Honestly I'm never one to write yelp reviews but this was just ridiculous. I even have a piece missing out of my polish and it's been 2 days. Not happy and I will not be going back even though it's been a year of them servicing me. I had gone to this place about 3 times and was spending a minimum of 40$ for pedicures. They weren't long massages, they were cutting my toe nails wrong(which caused ingrown toenails) and when they scrubbed my heels for the supposedly callus remover all they do is take off the dirt! All the dead skin just stays on your foot.. it was such a waste of money and time ! Will not be returning! read more

Despite being busy at the time, I was welcomed right away for a gel manicure as a walk in. The service was quick but very thorough and enjoyable, and my nails have never looked better. Went with friends here and we each had a terrible experience, they're rude and overpriced. I had a design that wasn't hard to do at all and had to show the lady the picture several times and she kept getting extremely frustrated with that. At the end I noticed she got polish on my hand and I told her 4 times, then she just said go wash your hands it'll come off, like she had nothing to take it off with. As I stood she asked for my hand because she wanted to wipe it off, why not just do it the first time I asked? My friend told me her nails were crooked and my other friend told me the lady that did her nails had an attitude the whole time. They were rushed and didn't like to be told what we wanted. When I do these things it costs a lot of money and I do it because it relaxes me and I'm generally excited to show off the outcome. At no point was I relaxed, it was just a terrible uncomfortable experience and I wasn't excited to show them off whatsoever, in fact I got them done the day before New Years and I already plan on getting them redone elsewhere. First off my mom made both of us an appointment at 11 a.m. , I was in a terrible car accident a month ago so I'm temporarily in a wheelchair but I still want to feel pretty you have no idea what it is like to be constantly looked at funny bc your in a wheelchair I just wanted to feel good about myself so my mom tried to cheer me up, she was seen right away by her ongoing nail technician for years now but I was discriminated against since I'm in a wheelchair I waited and waited and waited two walk ins were seen before I was and there was plenty of nail technicians to still see me due to the fact that there water pipe broke and they were not doing pedicures. I'm extremely saddened by this experience bc I have gone here for years and have become friendly w a few of their nail technicians, they are very pricey but I would look past it bc I wanted to be loyal to them... what a joke... read more

I've gone to Tammy's for some time now but each time even after making an appointment to see her, she makes me wait. EACH TIME. Yesterday was the final straw, she was the one to pick the time that worked for her and lo and behold, she comes out of the eyelash room ten minutes late to tell me it would be another 15 minutes. I've been going to Tammy's for about 10 years and it has always been a bit expensive but Tony was worth it. He has always done my nails and pedicure. Tony is gone and I went back after some time since covid. I received a pedicure and full set which cost me 115 then with tip 120. I went on Saturday 01/09/2021 and on Tuesday 2 nails came off my hand. I called and no one called me back. Now fast forward to today 01/19/2021, I have a toe that the gel polish came off and it's only been 10 days and 3 nails off the other hand. I called Tammy and she said to make an appointment next week and she would do a new full set and charge me for a fill. So for 1 set of nails I would be paying $55 for my 1st set and then $40-$45 for this full set that she is charging for a fill. I've been to many companies and never have I ever paid 40-45 for a fill. I let her know that this was unacceptable and I would not return to her business. 10 year loyal customer and she does not care that I received service that was unacceptable that has made my experience bad enough for me to not come back. if i could seriously give no stars i would. came in today to get my nails done for a wedding and Trang/Jillian helped me out. she was very friendly and seemed to be doing her job quite thoroughly so i didn't complain. as i left, i noticed red streaks all over my nails and under the gel ( i had ordered french tip acyrlics with gel) so i went back in to ask about it. the lady, i wish i knew her name, told me it was my nails and basically tried to tell me it was my problem. First of all, i didn't come in with nail polish and second of all, you never say that it's your customers problem especially when said person is paying $30 for supposedly quality work and third of all CAN YOU SAY SANITATION ISSUE!!! i came in with my nails unpolished and left with red streaks from god knows where all under 1/2 of my nails! She asks me to sit and wait and i told her i wouldn't mind getting them fixed or removed and my money back whatever is easiest. She says they are too busy and I'd have to return at 1:30pm. I didn't have time to go back so i told her to please remove the nails and give me my money back. She calls the manager and Tammy (the manager) comes over and looks at my nail. The white plastic tips don't even properly cover my actual nail on 1/2 of the set and the red streaks are all over 3 whole nails. She tries to explain that the plastic nails are pre-cut, this isn't my first rodeo show ma'am, you have them pre-cut in all sizes for all different people. Obviously Jillian didn't do her job right. Tammy then offers me to wait so Jillian can come do my nails again. HELLO?!?!?! why would i want someone who has no attention to detail do my nails yet again? Pass! What kind of fool do you take me for? I tell her i want someone else or i want these removed and i'll go on my way. 5 minutes after that, Tammy mysteriously disappears and a co-worker comes up to me offers me my money back and tells me they are too busy to remove my nails. I should take them and enjoy them on Tammy. WTF?!?!?! I don't want them. They suck and are hideous. I take my money and leave. NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now i have to get rid of these awful nails on my own. Horrible customer services, bicker in Vietnamese, and they have no service recovery. I got my nails done by david and they looked fine until i went outside and seen them and they we very see through. They're supposed to be a solid not see through color. I came in about a week ago. I told the guy that I just want to change the shape of my nail and I showed him a picture of the pointy type shape. He asked if my nails were fake and I told him they are real and I want to have gel on top just like I have it now. I told him i dont want fake my nails are already long! Then all of a sudden I see him cut my natural nails down really short. I stopped him and said what are you doing why are you cutting my nails so short? He looked confused then showed me some fake nails! I asked what the hell is wrong with you i never asked for fake nails!! I was so mad that to contain myself from being violent i cried! I am a nail bitter i finally broke my habit and here this guy for no reason cuts my real nails! I was then looked at by everyone! He left and took all his tools he didnt even say sorry!!! About 5 min later a different employee came up to me and said she was sorry then tried to blame that guy's mistake on me! She says the picture i showed him confused him. Im like how? I told him i want that shape and that my nails are real. My nails were longer than the pic i showed so it was totally doable! I asked her to please just cut all my nails i have no choice! She was very nice but did a bad job in smoothing the edges. My nails were very rough! By the next day several broke and were even shorter. I went yesterday to have my nails done for my wedding. I made a 9am appointment through email with Tammy, but I waled in and my appointment wasn't on the books and Tammy wasn't there. I had the Lime Coconut Pedicure with was good but the woman doing the pedicure answered her cell phone 3 times and one time was on the phone for over 15 minutes paying for something with her credit card which was on my pedicure tray. I had a french manicure on my nails with Gelish which I really liked a lot but I had diamonds put on and they stayed on about 4 hours. Now I have 4 holes where they used to be. Don't waste your money on sprucing your nails up with gems. The entire time the two women working on me were very obviously talking badly and under their breath about their own coworkers in Vietnamese. The polishing was not very good...... and she wasn't good at making a straight line with the nail file. Today while getting a manicure I got to watch two of the staffers wax each other. I didnt want to, but it was right within eye shot. I dont know why they (a) have a body waxing station within view of the mani sections or (b) why they would do this when there are customers there...its just weird. Im hoping its part of some larger remodeling thing that Im not privy to and that someday in the not to distant future all waxing stations will be private. that Aside from that odd experience, Ive generally been treated well here. I will probably go back. Im having a hard time finding a decent nail place here in Tracy and this is the closest Ive gotten (at least this place is infection free). This place was okay at first. They took my friend and I in quickly. My nails came out very nice but my friend didn't like her nails. We tried to talk to Tammy about the nails and she basically just tried to brush us off and not fix them. I left and talked to my mom and we called again to try to get a resolution and Tammy has the nerve to get on the phone and lie to us about the situation. My mom ended up going up there and soon as she did we got half of our money back. They do nice work but their manager doesn't know how to handle situations which just made her lose 2 customers. I literally sit here drying my nails and typing this review in the salon. You know it's bad if someone wants to do the review while still in the store. First I walk in...need a fill...told I need a new set, yeah no thanks got one less than a month ago. Apparently this made her mad so she proceeded to burn my skin About four times with the drill. No "hi how are you?" Or "what's your name?" Just constant chatter to each other and never once did she make conversation with a potential new client. She then goes on to quiz me on where I got my full set three weeks ago...I just moved here from Orange County so I tell her 6/27 Lake Forest in Orange County...she talks over me loudly to her buddies and they have a good chuckle. Worst nail experience. My daughter wanted her nails done for her birthday, I was separated from her so I can get mine done as well. We both showed pictures of what we wanted and both screwed up our nails. When pointed out they acted like we were wrong. Not only that but they were rude. The equipment didn't work very well and burnt my daughters hand, which I didn't find out til we left bc she was scared of saying anything else. I will never go back again read more

Not going back. First time getting gel nail polish. The nails were badly painted and the polish did not go to the sides. I asked them to fix it and she added an extra coat. Every time she would paint the sides of my nails she would run her nail back down the sides and scrape it back off the nail. Super hurried and very tense. I'm better off doing this myself. Fastest pedicure ever. I was literally in there for less than 15 minutes. From the time I walked in, to picking my color and getting a pedicure was 15 minutes. Typically people go to get a pedicure to relax, be massaged and enjoy their pedicure. The salon was very busy and she got us in and out. No hi how are you? Or very good customer service. Again, my pedicure and my cousins pedicure was only 15 minutes!!!!! Wouldn't come back here again. Not to mention the salon smelled like fumes from the nails products. I went to Tammy's last year and received a pedicure. Very relaxing, nice massage but the nail polish was applied too thick and looked really bad. I decided to give them another chance since I was in the area and went in for a pedicure. When I walked in the door the ladies didn't greet me...just stared at me like I was a leper. I said if you are too busy it's no problem, I can come back. The girl that did my pedicure was sweet but was a little too pushy trying to sell the specialty pedicures. While we were chatting she made some pretty clueless and rude comments that I won't get into. My nails came out ok but overall it was a poor experience. Came in for a mani pedi with my mom. The store wasn't busy so we were helped immediately. The pedicure was great. My technician took his time doing my nails and I was satisfied with the turnout. The manicure was average in comparison. I asked for French tips and they were a little too long for me. When asked to change it, the technician made some excuse up. I ended up adding glitter to the tips so they wouldn't look too chunky with the white. It turned out ok but I would have preferred if the guy listened to me. After all, the customer should always get what they ask for! Overall, it was an alright experience. I've been to better nail salons in the area. (It's so annoying when all the workers speak in another language. I would prefer if they carried a conversation with me instead of with each other.) read more

I had been there before a few times and was satisfied. The last time I went in November, they were busy. The guy who did my nails couldn't understand me, and he didn't even file off the old gel, just laid new gel on top. He poked me while doing my pedicure and I've been sore since and scared to go get a new one. He asked me to pick my gel color and I did, specifically to match a nude and black dress, the color he put on was purple and he was so happy with it that I felt bad saying anything. I didn't want to get him in trouble so I didn't complain but I was so frustrated at the fact he couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand him. Not to mention that the gel turned a dark color in all the spits where he didn't file the old gel off.
