I recommended my grandma to go Get her feet and nails done .. Long story short she ended up get an infection underneath her thumb nail Due to them not properly cleaning their tools. And to top it off the women who did her feet ended up filling her damn toes so hard that she broke the skin. I felt horrible being that I recommended this place. I love Tammy's Nails! I cannot get my eyebrows done anywhere else! I'm very picky to who I go to when I get my pedi, mani, and eyebrows so I have a different person for each when I do get them done! Stephanie is amazing at pedicures she takes her time and you really get your money's worth because she gives you a massage and she's very attentive to what you want. Lisa I go to for my gel manicures or my full sets she just shapes my nails perfectly! I've had several nail techs work on my nails and with the gel manicures I feel like she works the best with taking out my cuticles. And Tammy and Jullian is my go to for my eyebrows, they're the best I love my eyebrows after they do them and I can't go anywhere else. I also go to Tammy for full sets with acrylic nails especially with designs and she's also the owner. The price is pretty good not too expensive! Becareful when purchasing gift cards.I purchased a gift card for my wife for her Birthday so she can get her nails done by her nail lady.My wife went to book the appointment with her nail lady and was told she wasn't there right now.This lady made it appear that my wife's nail lady still worked there. I came today to get my nails done. It was busy. The lady who did my nails was rude and didn't say she was done just shakes her hand to tell me to leave. Also normally you get a massage when your done but she didn't even give me one. The job she did on my nails was crappy and it doesn't even look good. It doesn't even look clean and the nail isn't polished good. I understand that they are busy but at least she could have done a better job. Also it was so unorganized, none of the ladies who worked their knew what customer came first and kept saying 10 mins when the wait was longer.I will never come back and I won't recommend this place. This nail salon has become very unprofessional. I had called to schedule an appointment with a specific nail tech and was told they will call me 10 mins before she is available. So I get the call, leave my kids with my sister in law and rush over there only to be told to wait outside. As I look over, I see the nail tech I requested working on someone else. You can tell she just started with her. I waited ten minutes outside and went back in to ask how much longer it was going to take, the owner will not give me a straight answer but another customer tells me that they made a mistake in calling me. I don't understand why they can't just be honest instead of having me wait. I asked the owner if she was serious and she apologized and told me it will only take 15 mins. I wait back outside in the heat for another 10 mins and when I look back in through the window I can tell the nail tech will not be available for another 30 mins, give or take. I decided to leave after that. This is the second time this has happened to me. I had made an appointment to go in before Covid restrictions, and they double booked the nail tech and didn't even tell me as I waited for over 45 mins. I learned my lesson this time. My family and I will no longer be coming here. read more

After being a client/customer at Tammy's nails for over 10 years, I will NO longer be doing business here nor do I recommend anyone support this place of business after the way they DISCRIMINATED against myself today. I called over the phone and was given a quote on how much the services would cost myself (acrylic nail removal), which was the reason I drove to Tracy from Manteca. Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by Tammy, washed my hands, and was told to have a seat. Seconds AFTER the nail tech starting cutting my nails, Tammy uttered something in another language which resulted in the tech telling me the price was no longer what she quoted over the phone. She tried to charge me more and claimed the price I was given didn't apply but couldn't explain why I was being charged more which is discrimination in every way. Very sad and UNACCEPTABLE read more

BEWARE TAMMY AND DAVID!!!!!! I use to love Tammy's nail salon, but wow, they have truly ruined my nails. I use to go there every 3 to 4 weeks to get my nails done for the past 9 months. But this last time i went, they ruined and did a horrible job on my nails. I understand i went in at 7:20 pm, I was stuck in traffic and that's why i got there so late. All I wanted was to remove my acrylic nails and get gel, and i even asked do you guys have time to do my nails. I even told them if you don't have time, please just remove my nails and Ill come back the next day around 2 pm. No, they said they had time, well the one who did my nail was DAVID!!! And he did a HORRIBLE JOB!!! It truly looked like I did my nails drunk! I told him twice I don't like them, i will come back tomorrow to get them fixed. He saw my face and knew i was not happy, o and apart from that he supposively gave me a manicure, i have had a manicure at Tammy's before, done by Emily, and that was not a manicure treatment. I went in the next day, and instead of filing my nails to take the gel off and wrapping them with cotton and foil, DAVID GRINNED MY NAILS WITH THE MACHINE ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!! I told him, what are you doing, but the damage was done. After that they were trying to up charge me everything, I EVEN SPOKE TO TAMMY AND SHE DID NOT CARE!!! David is suppose to be one of the best besides Tammy, and that was not the case. I got up, and admit I was upset and spoke up and demanded my money back. But of course Tammy, still charged me for a lousy 30 second massage for a manicure treatment, so i only got half of my money back! Just to make you understand how badly my nails were left, i went to Top Ten Nails and they were shocked that came out of Tammy's. I showed all the customers there around me and they all agreed they ruined my nails. Now my nails are breaking constantly even though they have GEL ON THEM!!! Love this place! I get my nails done here all the time with a few waxing's here and there... The reason I wanted to write a review is because of the AWESOME Job Tammy did on my permanent make up! I got the top and bottom eyeliner done. First off I walked in with no appointment. I was sad to find out it was Tammy's day off... But the man in the front called her and she was there in 15 min ready to do my make up! I was sooo happy and a little nervous, she went over everything with me, how it would fell and what to do to take care of my new liner. I thought I was going to get a thin black line like I have seen on other people but this was not the case. She asked me what I wanted, how I wanted it and made sure I was happy with everything before she finished. She even does a free 6 month re touching. If you are in the market for some permanent make up she does it all! And she is good. I took my sister to get her eyebrows done and she could not be happier with how they came out.. I've been coming here for years and really enjoy visiting for my services. I usually get full set, pedicure, and waxing. I will say I've tried other places in the area but they don't do any better so I've stuck with Tammys. Anything I've asked for they've done with no problems. The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is because I have noticed some employees are a little pushy, I realize that's normal but sometimes its annoying. The staff is otherwise very nice, helpful, and a pleasure to talk to. I will say Tammy is under a lot of pressure at times you can tell she isn't generally happy. A lot of people give her grief because she is always busy kinda feel sorry for her. Even reading reviews people won't let anyone else touch their nails, toes, whatever. Been here 2 times this month & have nothing but great service. I first came on a Sunday night probably an hour until they closed, they were able to get me in for a gel manicure and the lady was awesome! She did a fantastic job on my nails & then even gave me a shoulder massage! I was in heaven since that's really hard to find with a manicure :) I came back on a Tuesday afternoon & didn't even have to wait. Got my polish change & really loved how the nail tech took her time with my nails. She did 3 nails at a time, then put my hand in the light then continued. Really made a difference I didn't feel rushed & my nails look the best they have ever looked. Most importantly, she took her time. I normally go to another place in town & come here when my lady is booked up but Tammys definitely bumped up to my number one spot :) read more

My husband brought me in to the nails place trying to surprise me with mani & pedicure and this people was very rude the guy who was doing my pedicure was asking the guy next to him to translate for him all the time and that wasn't the issue the issue was that I asked for full pedi and hi was just doing a very quick nails painting. Any way then the lady who was doing my manicure was in the phone when she started my nails and she started a full set instead of manicure so when I told her she was so rude bringing someone to translate my language because she said that she thought that I don't speak English. Only giving one star because i have to! Worst experience i have ever had. Came in last Sunday for a full set before i had to catch a flight they give me some new guy that's apparently only been there a few months. He asked me what color i wanted i show him and instead of telling me the color i picked was the "dip" color he just puts my nail tips on and proceeds to just dip my nails in the color. First off i didn't ask for that, second when i questioned what he was doing he got an attitude, half wiped the color off, then with the color still partially on my nail and finger tries to put acrylic over the nails. I made him take everything off! I decided to let him give me a pedicure in hopes that he wouldn't F that up...well let's just say after i got home that night my polish was chipped as if my feet had been done for weeks. I will never spend a dime in this place and i wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Next time you send someone to the new guy let the client know what they're getting themselves into! I entered with my baby to see if I could make my nails... they said: "Come back in 10 minutes"but the smell was so strong to my baby so I decided schedule an appointment later and when I was to ask about it one of the ladies very rude said " we don't do it late no no no" in a tone very very rude. I told her she can't use soiled tools. She tells me sometimes they put clean stuff in their soiled boxes "don't worry" she says. I reply "well I am worried" so she then takes out clean warped tools.
