TL:DR: This dealership is pretty awesome; they are thorough, honest, and employ really cool people. I came in to get the "maintenance needed / wrench" icon removed from the 'dash' off of my 2017 Triumph Daytona 675R. Brian, who was gracious enough to take in my bike as a walk-in on a Saturday afternoon, told me the price and duration of the work. I was so happy and thankful that he was openly-honest and upfront about the price and wait-time, but he also informed me that in order to be thorough and honest about clearing the "code" that they would still have to conduct the full inspection of the bike to ensure that it met safe road standards as per their policy and the manufacturer's standards. This was fair and totally expected (and should be the standard everywhere, considering it's a motorcycle we are talking about). I myself already knew all of the things that they would bring up in their inspection report, as I had already put together a list of parts and maintenance activities that i needed to complete before making the trip to this dealership, from Orlando. [The dealership closest me in Orlando was the same distance and ride-time away from my house, I went here, because I visited this location a few years back, when I was in town] What I also liked about my visit to this location is that they employ people that fit into a full spectrum of riders: young, middle-aged, and "older", along with the full gamut of riding-types: street-sport, track-enthusiasts, road-cruisers, etc...it felt like going to a place where the saying "for riders, by riders" rings true on so many levels. I really appreciated this. One thing of note, that I noticed, before it was even mentioned to me, was that one of the techs (Ian) that moved my bike back-and-forth from the front of the shop to the garage and back, took the time to wipe clean the windscreen and front fairing of all the dead bugs from my trip...he did so with a clean microfiber cloth and cleaner spray that everyone uses...it was this level of care and detail that assured me that their customer service is on a level that even they would expect themselves for their own motorcycles. I'll definitely be returning back to this dealership for the interval maintenance that I don't have the tools or time to conduct myself. They saw how well I took care of the vehicle myself and I liked that they respected that I do some of my own maintenance. (Again reiterating my thoughts of "for riders by riders"). It is my hope that my experience from my visit is the same one that you get when you go in yourself. I hope I don't sound too snobby or "uppity" when I say that: Triumph is a Euro-imported brand that isn't in the same price range of the Asian brands...so we should expect to pay a little more...for both parts and service, so sticker/invoice shock shouldn't be too surprising once you get it. read more

Not sure what all the fuss is going on here on Yelp or why Tampa Triumph is getting below a 4-star rating here, but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. With that being said, I can only offer my perspective in why I think Tampa Triumph deserves your business. I was very much excited to discover that there was a Triumph dealership in Tampa during my transition to my new job. Living on the Hillsborough-side of Lutz, Tampa Triumph is the closest Triumph dealership and service being ideally situated on the southbound side of Dale Mabry Highway (580). (For those of you who are concerned with chaos that is Dale Mabry, the dealership is perfectly situated about 700 feet after a traffic light, with a low median that separates the north bound and south bound lanes, and a dedicated left/U-turn lane no more than 200 feet as you are leaving the dealership). The dealership itself has a smaller parking lot in which most of it is occupied by the motorcycles - if the lot is full, consider potentially parking right before at the Dunkin Donuts (not sure how much of sticklers they are when it comes to parking) with the understanding that these lots are NOT connected. Tampa Triumph has a great compliment of motorcycles, but moreover, a very friendly and inviting staff. The store maintains a very neat and clean display and presentation as you enter it. It's simple, but you'll find what you need there. Aside from motorcycles, you can literally find Triumph Motorcycle's seemingly entire clothing line on the shelves (quite the variety), along with helmets (majority of these seem to be Arai) and other accessories. The staff was more than friendly and very pleasant to converse with, creating a very laxed and chill atmosphere - this is definitely should be the standard for Triumph dudes and dudettes. Being a Triumph Motorcycle owner already, I came here to get my motorcycle serviced (although it never hurts to window-shop for another bike, and boy did that Thruxton sitting in the front looked appealing). Calling ahead, the store/shop was incredibly responsive and on-point. I spoke with several different individuals, but ultimately it was Chris and his apprentice, Kevin, who worked on my motorcycle. I was more than satisfied with the work done. Sure, the annual service along with the other work I had done costed a pretty penny (I assure it'll be the same elsewhere across the country), but it was thorough and reliable considering the feedback I received back from Chris. Never have I seen a technician hustle and move like that with a sense of direction and purpose in mind. Throughout the servicing period, Chris was extremely transparent and communicative which is extremely important to me as a client. Chris explained the requirements and lifecycle of certain items, providing his professional guidance in terms of when these should be replaced which gave me the decision points that I need to prolong the life of my motorcycle. He kept me updated on the progress of the bike and worked with me after the fact when it came to the pick up of the motorcycle that worked around my schedule. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and content with Tampa Triumph, and confident in their knowledge and abilities to help me with my motorcycle needs! If you're in the market for a motorcycle and looking for something unique that stands out in any motorcycle scene - whether it be a starter or something more robust (like a Daytona or Rocket) - I definitely recommend stopping in at Tampa Triumph. Chris and Brian serviced my 2017 T120. They did a great job with the service. They took personal care to do the service. Chris also gave me a talisman to ward off evil. This place is highly recommended for all Triumph owners. There are so many other things great about this place. All the staff are extremely friendly and do their best to help you and fe comfortable. I came to Tampa Triumph to look at the Rocket 3. After grazing their selection, I asked to test drive one. I was determined to purchase one after seeing one in the wild. Anyway, I asked to test ride one they had instock and was told "the kind of person that buys this bike doesn't want any miles on it" well, I supposed at that moment I wasn't the kind of guy that bought one. After some pestering I ultimately rode a GT. Its what I wanted anyway. I loved the bike so much I left there and bought myself one somewhere else. I came in for a recall on the braking system as my rear brake was not functioning. It was time for an Annual Service so I let them take care of that. I was told that I wouldn't be able to leave my bike at the service center overnight due to available space. Seriously?? Anyway, now my Triumph goes to Fun Bike Center. Their service pricing is much more realistic and they are happy to hold my bike overnight. Not to mention the ridiculous amount of toys they have there to drool over. This is a late review, by the way. Not within the last year. read more

After concluded an Iron Butt ride (1000 miles in 24hrs) at the Tampa Triumph I thought a chain service was called for. They fit me right in. It's a good thing they did, my tech Chris found the chain was binding and in need of replacement. Chris and Gabriel made sure I understood my options and gave the bike a looking over for other issues. Gabriel in service made sure to overnight the parts and got me back on the road the next day. I was without a ride to my hotel- David in sales stepped up, sacrificing his lunch break. Don their GM was also very welcoming. The whole team at Tampa Triumph was fantastic! My visit there exceeded expectations they are all fine examples of hospitality. I made it home to Pennsylvania so I know they did a great job! read more

Me and my friend went in yesterday shopping for motorcycles with the intent to buy! I was informed that the salesperson wasn't there and the manger was too busy in back to acknowledge us. After the manger came up front to take another phone call then returned to the back to continue his conversation. Thank you for showing us that you did not want our business! I was a Harley guy for many, many years. Customer service was excellent. If you needed something they went out of their way to make sure you were satisfied. I have had bikes trailered 20 miles to the dealer for an issue...no problem. Tampa Triumph refuses to pick up my Thruxton that is 4 miles out of their "pickup territory." Bike is less than a year old. I had battery issues 6 months ago and they recommended a trickle charge -- on a new battery?! OK, done. I know it is the battery, but they have no interest in picking up my bike and are not even interested in just checking out the battery that was on a trickle charge for 14 hours without holding power. It will be two weeks before they can look at my bike, and no interest seeing the dead battery. Not even if I took time out of my day to bring it to them! I go to battery's plus. They checkout the batter, confirm it is dead, I buy a new battery ($100) bike starts up right away, holds charge and is as the correct amperage. I guess 4 miles is too much to ask in customer service, even though the bike is still under warrantee. That's one smart way to keep the customer happy Tampa Triumph! Well I guess at least they avoided paying for a battery replacement, unfortunately their $100 savings means no more clothing purchases, helmets, performance upgrades, accessories, etc...well played for $100 saving. If you have no time for me, I have no time for you. Think about looking elsewhere if you expecting a responsive MC dealership. Very dissatisfied! read more

Why couldn't you put a camera in the shop area and flat screen on the wall so customers could see the attention there bike is getting. There is a new lady in parts, her name might have been Betty but I'm horrible with names. She really went above and beyond to help correct a snafu. As a business owner I know how difficult it is to find good people but Tampa Triumph found one in her. The parts guy in Lakeland helped out as well. I'll be back. read more

Don't fall for the show, the difference between prospect and client treatment is atrocious. They will have your back all the way up until the commission hits their bank account. Waited 6 weeks for a license plate, found the price of the bike previously sold at 7,300. That was 6000 miles less that when I picked it up. Offered me the same price as a "deal bc we're friends". Customer service isn't lacking but instead just lies and service center prices are that of a Mineke trying to rip you off. read more

I received different pricing on motorcycles from the two sales persons I talked with. The first person did not know the most basic technical information. The second person, who presented as the owner (but I can't say for sure he was), diverted my questions into sales pitches and did not provide any meaningful information on the product. The lot out front had bikes lined up two feet from a very busy road, and they had loud music blaring out of cheap speakers everywhere, which made concentration impossible. Had the pricing been more transparent and the experience been something above that of a cheap used car lot, I would have bought a bike then and there, because they had what I wanted. Instead, I left befuddled and settled on a different brand. read more

The sales service is good but I do not recommend the after sales service, my battery fails and they told me that it is normal, each service (First and second) costs me at least $ 500. (Much money for just changing oil and in less than an hour and a half ..) In other Triumph dealers the cost is half. The prices of the motorcycles are very good but in the services you pay what you saved. read more
