I've been tanning since college (planet beach, local shops, etc.) and am not too prissy about conditions but I like my equipment clean and the staff to know what they are talking about. Sick of the drive to valrico, I bought a single tan on a level 4 bed from south beach to try it out. The place was clean, towels were in fine condition, and the girls who work there (only interacted with 2 of them) were friendly and knowledgeable. I don't know if they changed management since the negative reviews, but this was honestly one of the better salons I've been to. I felt a little dumb placing so much stock in the yelp reviews before trying it out myself and now I have another 10 tans to get rid of in Valrico before I can buy a membership at south beach. TLDR; Clean beds, friendly, try a single tan for yourself before taking a few yelp reviews too seriously. (or driving to valrico!)

I called back and she said "there is no reason to escalate it" -- whose decision is that? Because last time I checked its MINE. Haley is rude, unprofessional ,unpleasant, and clearly uneducated. This was the worst customer service experience I have EVER had in my LIFE. I will never EVER get a spray tan again and NEVER go back to south Tampa location. I truly cannot accept the treatment I was given or the way I was spoken to. The Fact Haley is the manager of these girls , her behavior makes a lot of sense.
