Food is well seasoned and the milk was well crafted as well. It was appropriately rose flavored and the staffer made more even though he didn't have to. Maybe it would sell more later on since it was a Saturday afternoon too. The last time my friends were here, it was waiter service. With the change and the location and vibe, it feels like this was a good business decision for them. Forget it. We decided to try an Indian restaurant around the corner from where we used to live--never been before, but it was close to where we were and seemed convenient. Big mistake. We walk in, and the guy behind the counter is on the phone. Without even a greeting, he barks, "It's takeout only, it's takeout only." I look around--there are booths. I ask, "What about the booths?" He says, "Well, you can take it out... or sit and eat it... but there's no table service." Okay. I ask for menus. "There are no menus," he says. "You scan the code on the counter and look on your phone." At that point I turned to my son and said, "Let's get the hell out of here." We went to Cumin 'n Eat instead--and I'm so glad we did. Friendly staff. Great table service. Food served hot and quick... and absolutely delicious. Night and day experience. If you can't give a pleasant greeting when new customers walk in then you don't deserve their business. Secondly, if you're not going to provide table service, and that's fine, at least have printed menus and not require customers to, "Scan the code over there" and fiddle around with their phones scrolling through an extensive menu standing by the counter. Amazing food and jet-fast service. Good portions and very reasonable prices. Ample parking is available. I recommend their Chicken Biryani, Mango Lassi, Pineapple Kesari, Gobi 65, Samosa and Dosa. My husband loves their Chicken Chettinad and Chicken Sukka. Spice levels are apt and the employees are very courteous. No table service but nobody complains as they allow you to sit and eat in the restaurant. This is my go-to for Indian food in the Lehigh Valley. My particular favorite is the chili gobi--super-flavorful and tender cauliflower in a rich and spicy sauce. I dream about this stuff sometimes! This is a large, clean restaurant that's run like a cafeteria. You order food and pay at cash register. You can sit at any of the booths or tables while they prepare your food fresh for you in the kitchen. Then they bring food to you that's all packaged. You can eat there or take food to go. I'm disappointed in how Biryani has gone down hill. The Korma size has gotten almost single serving size for the same price, the Goat Biryani was full of tiny bones quite dangerous for the kids, and ordering mild medium or hot doesn't mean anything. Came back here with family. Not your "fine dining" Indian restaurant if you think of atmosphere but the food is really amazing. Prices are fair too. We got the Chilly Gobi and Spinach and Onion Pakora to start. Really great! Dinner we grabbed the Chicken Chettinad which was really spicy and flavorful. Also had the Vegetable Kurma and Paneer Makhani. Their Chef Special Naan is stuffed with paneer and onion spice. The services was friendly and food came out faster than most other Indian Restaurants. The place was also pretty busy and a lot were getting take out too... it's impressive to see how fast these guys got their dishes out. Just as FYI... music can be a bit loud. I also ordered a garlic naan to go with my curry since what Indian meal is complete without naan?! The food took a while to come out, but was definitely worth it! I usually think curry anything will make the meat rather tough since it's usually overcooked. However, the lamb came out amazing! The meat was tender and juicy, easy to pull apart. The spice level was just right too, and the flavor was all exploding in my mouth! I definitely made the mistake of ordering too much, as I think most Indian dishes are meant to be shared. I ended up eating only half despite how amazing it was! This place gets pretty packed. By the end of my meal, there were plenty of people waiting for a table despite it being a regular Tuesday. We've ordered it once a week probably and we live in Nazareth, so it's definitely worth the drive. We love the Channa Masala and Saag Paneer for veg options. Chicken Chetinad is so delicious for non-veg as well as Goat Curry and Kadai Goat as the entrees. As for the Biryani - definitely Chicken Biryani. I ordered the chicken Biryani and was required to list how spicy I wanted it which I put "American Mild". Normally I go from mild to medium so spicy doesn't bother me. I went to eat it and it was so spicy, I could not eat it. Literally, I took 4 bites from different laces on it because I was hungry but that's as far as I got.
