Taco Bell should be grateful they exist cause they're no longer the bottom of the cheap Mexican food chain.

We wanted tacos for Cinco de Mayo and figured we'd give Jurassic Tacos a try…read more We ordered 4 al pastor tacos, 1 chicken, and 1 steak taco. The total came out to about $30, which at first felt a little expensive for tacos, but once we got them we realized these definitely aren't your regular street tacos. Each one came with fresh homemade flour tortillas, fried cheese, sauce, and toppings that were different depending on the meat. My favorites were the chicken and steak tacos. The al pastor was still good, just not my personal favorite. It was a little sweet.. it kind of reminded me of a Mexican candy I've had before, but I still can't quite put my finger on it. The service was friendly, but our food did take a while to come out.

I think the last time I went was just a bad experience. The customer service was great, the guy was very friendly. They had a lot of side options to choose from, free of charge. Their mild salsa is very bright and light, great flavorful. I like that they have a keto option; and that's what I got! With the Al pastor meat which was delicious. Everything was good and there was no issue with the meat. The place was very clean and had a homey feel. They definitely stick with their dinosaur brand haha. Will definitely come back.

And as it is the same price as the basic margarita it's a great value for a premium drink. As far as the food goes, it's the best Mexican I have had since moving here from AZ. Yes, if you read some of my other reviews I have said that before, but it keeps being true. And one of my very best friends that is actually from Mexico agrees, this is the best she has had too. Add in absolutely amazing service from a friendly and attentive staff and they more than earned the five stars I gave them!

But wow! It has undergone a complete remodel and revamp of the menu. The food was always affordably passable, but now? This place could exist in Park City - both as regards the ambience and the menu, but the prices are still super affordable! They have added a BUNCH of new plates that are presented like they're on Top Chef, but you can still get street tacos à la carte for $.99 as well! Live music on Friday evenings, a full bar, it's just really fabulous. Do yourself favor and try this little-known place. You won't regret it!

They should be pumping out the orders. It took forever and there was zero explanation from the cashier upfront or an apology when the food was ready. As far as the food goes, it was fresh and good. Tasted authentic and the meat was good quality. I enjoyed the green salsa and the avocado salsa as well. I would be back but definitely plan out waiting for over half a for my food.

I will say, this is NOT fast food. They make the food fresh to order so do not expect to have a fast drive-thru. We waited quite some time but I have no complaints about that because of the freshness of the food. Additionally, we ordered a side of rice but the nice gentleman at the window told us that as they were cooking the rice, they decided after doing quality control, it just wasn't up to par with their standards. So, he offered us a refund on the side of rice and they filled the taco salad with all the other yummy stuff. We appreciated the honesty and would rather a refund than to be sold yucky rice! As far as the food goes, it was all fantastic. The taquitos hit the spot and had guacamole, cheese, and lettuce. I'd for sure get them again! The refried beans were hot and flavorful. The beef in the taco was juicy and fresh. We will definitely try the taco salad again when they have better rice so we can get the full experience but the chicken was super juicy and flavorful. We are happy to have stumbled upon this place and grateful they're open for our late night cravings. We will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this place. I really tried to like this place...but I have to be honest…read more Let's start with the good--the bbq vibe was strong (country music, chalkboards with drawings, bbq smell wafting thru the air). Now for the not-so-good. We usually call ahead because we have a few family members with food allergies. We called ahead and everything sounded kopacetic. We arrived and ordered our food. One member of our 6 person party ate a couple of fries (which she asked about ahead of time due to her allergies) and she noticed something different about the fries. We asked one of the workers if they put something on the fries because they were crispy on the outside. The worker said "I don't think so." We asked if he could check to be sure so he went to ask. He came back and said "it's just crispy coating." So again we asked "can you tell us what is in the crispy coating because we are trying to avoid an allergic reaction." He replied "it's just crispy coating I don't know what's in it." So we asked "is there anyway you can find out what's in the crispy coating?" He replied "there is definitely a way to find out." He goes to the back...again. When he returns he says, "we fry the fries in a fryer with our chicken tenders. I would suggest not eating the fries." His suggestion is well-taken but we still don't know what's in the 'crispy coating.' When we were ordering, one member in my group asked for the two meat plate with brisket and pork ribs. The menu says "pork ribs." The worker said "We don't have pork ribs. We have ribs." So ribs it was. Giving a little room for grace, he was a young man who seemed to be new. BUT if you are at the cash register taking orders, you really should know what's on your menu. As for the food, it was disappointing. Portions were small. For the two meat plate with brisket and sausage, I was given one piece of brisket and a small hot link. To be fair, the menu says "8 oz" for the two meat plate so you kind of know what you're getting. When the order comes out, it looks very small. The brisket was a little on the dry side. The hot link was tasty but small. Buyer beware. TLDR; not coming back
