We were pretty impressed with Holy Taco! They've got a simple menu, and seem to only provide Al pastor meat, which is great because they've got it down! It was so yummy! Their salsas are unique and have so much flavor, I genuinely liked them all. I also tried their rice pudding, it had what I think is graham crackers?? crumbled on top so that was different from what I'm used to. Service was super friendly and quick to get our order out. We're excited to come back and try other menu items.

    Tacos Al Pastor, Alambre, Gringa.

Well, here we are with my two sons and wife dropping my son off so he can start his undergraduate program at UVU. After a busy day shopping and getting him set up in his apartment we were ready for dinner. We chose Mexican food! So the first location that we chose was closed, probably because of 4th of July weekend. So the next option that came up was Holy Taco. It was close and we were hungry. Coming into the small but spacious restaurant we were greeted with warm and friendly greeting and smiles. The business owner asked if we have any questions and gave us all individual copies of their menu. The specialty was Al Pastor and the menu was simple. My wife and I ordered the street tacos and my sons ordered Alambe and Gringa. They were all super delicious! And were consumed in about three's minutes. The Alambre was huge and that took my son a bit longer. He was nice enough to let me help him. And I was glad I did. Cheesy deliciousness!! The Dona came to our table to check in. She told us about her new business and apologized for the AC not working. She set up a fan near us to cool us down. It really wasn't that hot. She was so thoughtful and friendly. An example of how to treat your customers. She gave us a Mexican style rice pudding and hands down it was the best rice pudding I have ever had! The bathrooms were nice and clean. 5 stars for sure!! Like I always say, support your local small businesses!! Muchas gracias Holy Taco! You are off to a terrific start! Much success and growth to you and your beautiful family in the years to come!

My husband really wanted to try this after seeing my friend post it on her story, and we were both glad we did! We were greeted upon walking in by the girl working the counter. She was very sweet and answered our questions. My husband got a few al pastor tacos, and I got 1 al pastor taco and 1 gringa. Both of us enjoyed the tacos and the gringa. Our only complaint was that they were on the greasier side. The grease overpowered the flavor of the meat on some bites, but they were still yummy! I love that they give you a salsa caddy for the table. The salsas were all too spicy for me and the green one tasted a little watery. They are a Pepsi establishment for their fountain, but they do have Mexican cokes as well as other bottled drinks in the fridge. There are lots of tables for either 2 or 4 people, and they could easily be pushed together for a bigger group. While we were eating, someone came by to check on everything. The inside was clean and so was the bathroom. We were both glad we tried this place!

Tacos with cheese, jalapeños, and extra pineapple

Holy Taco is both the tacos we need and the tacos we deserve. Al Pastor is on the menu exclusively, with extra accoutrement to be added like grilled jalapeños or extra pineapple. Classic tacos with or without cheese are the go to, but they also offer a Gringa, which is much larger flour tortilla packed with cheese and meat. We often grab a pound of meat to take home for about $40, which comes with all the necessary extras for making your home a delightfully tasty taco facility. The service is always top notch, quick and friendly. Their 3 different salsa varieties are also all of note, especially their spiciest "pineapple" salsa (the orange color version) - savory, seasoned well, with a very slight sweet note. Their green and red are also fantastic, but the orange is to die for. Fountain drinks (Pepsi), glass bottle coke and a few jaritos flavors - plus delightful rice pudding for dessert, tasting like the thickest horchata you've ever enjoyed. Nice little dine in area with a number of tables to sit at, restrooms for washing your tacos hands when finished- and they do offer take out if that's your preference. If you haven't tried holy taco yet, do yourself a favor: get here asap.

I've been here before and decided to come back since I was craving tacos, but was so disappointed with my order. The gringa was incredibly oily, so oily that I couldn't eat it as it was too much for me. Last time I was here, the meat was also more fragrant and the flour tortilla tasted more fresh and charred. Im not sure if I'll be back after this experience!

It's taken a minute... but the Taco Gawd has officially landed. And Holy Taco? Yeah, it's that good. The Al Pastor Taco with Cheese was straight-up next level--packed with flavor and grilled to perfection. Easily one of the best tacos I've had in a long time. PG officially has a new taco king. This is my go-to from here on out.

A photo does not do it justice! It came out quick and this spot is good after hiking or paddle boarding near by. Not like the bestest tacos but still good

Food was very yummy. Beware the blended red sauce. VERY spicy. The key lime pie was delicious, not too sweet. Their meat was crispy and good. Tacos needed salt but that was an easy fix. Service was okay, we waited at the counter for a while before somebody took our order. The food was prepared very quickly though. Their soda fountain does not have a normal variety of drinks, no diet sodas. They do have Pepsi zero though. Apple beer was fun. They really needed some type of background music, it was dead silent expect for the ladies giggling in the back and the small talk from the other table there. I like their branding, they had fun little advertisements on their tv screen which were creative. They should really incorporate their branding onto their walls because as of right now they are just empty. They just opened so I assume they will continue to decorate. They have a loud beeper to tell you when your food is ready. So don't bring a sleeping baby in, because it will wake them up - our mistake haha. I will definitely be coming again to try more of their food.

This place is literally the best taco place in Utah. I LOVE IT. The green sauce is to die for, the pineapple is always fresh, and they have Mexican drinks !

I will say, this is NOT fast food. They make the food fresh to order so do not expect to have a fast drive-thru. We waited quite some time but I have no complaints about that because of the freshness of the food. Additionally, we ordered a side of rice but the nice gentleman at the window told us that as they were cooking the rice, they decided after doing quality control, it just wasn't up to par with their standards. So, he offered us a refund on the side of rice and they filled the taco salad with all the other yummy stuff. We appreciated the honesty and would rather a refund than to be sold yucky rice! As far as the food goes, it was all fantastic. The taquitos hit the spot and had guacamole, cheese, and lettuce. I'd for sure get them again! The refried beans were hot and flavorful. The beef in the taco was juicy and fresh. We will definitely try the taco salad again when they have better rice so we can get the full experience but the chicken was super juicy and flavorful. We are happy to have stumbled upon this place and grateful they're open for our late night cravings. We will definitely be back!

I really tried to like this place...but I have to be honest…read more Let's start with the good--the bbq vibe was strong (country music, chalkboards with drawings, bbq smell wafting thru the air). Now for the not-so-good. We usually call ahead because we have a few family members with food allergies. We called ahead and everything sounded kopacetic. We arrived and ordered our food. One member of our 6 person party ate a couple of fries (which she asked about ahead of time due to her allergies) and she noticed something different about the fries. We asked one of the workers if they put something on the fries because they were crispy on the outside. The worker said "I don't think so." We asked if he could check to be sure so he went to ask. He came back and said "it's just crispy coating." So again we asked "can you tell us what is in the crispy coating because we are trying to avoid an allergic reaction." He replied "it's just crispy coating I don't know what's in it." So we asked "is there anyway you can find out what's in the crispy coating?" He replied "there is definitely a way to find out." He goes to the back...again. When he returns he says, "we fry the fries in a fryer with our chicken tenders. I would suggest not eating the fries." His suggestion is well-taken but we still don't know what's in the 'crispy coating.' When we were ordering, one member in my group asked for the two meat plate with brisket and pork ribs. The menu says "pork ribs." The worker said "We don't have pork ribs. We have ribs." So ribs it was. Giving a little room for grace, he was a young man who seemed to be new. BUT if you are at the cash register taking orders, you really should know what's on your menu. As for the food, it was disappointing. Portions were small. For the two meat plate with brisket and sausage, I was given one piece of brisket and a small hot link. To be fair, the menu says "8 oz" for the two meat plate so you kind of know what you're getting. When the order comes out, it looks very small. The brisket was a little on the dry side. The hot link was tasty but small. Buyer beware. TLDR; not coming back
