    Homemade lemonade
    Gregory C.

We have been passing by this place for a couple of summers now and decided to try it this year. Unfortunately, they don't have a liquor license, and it's not BYOB either. Bummer. Also, you order both take out and stay in at the counter and stay in has a 15% gratuity added on to it. WTF. Anyway, the food was good. Lemonade was a tad sweet, but the Samosa Chat, Garlic Naan, Curry Lamb, Chicken Tiki Marsala and Chicken Biryani were all on point with any Indian restaurant in New York City. Only three stars because of the lack of liquor license and the 15% mandatory gratuity.

Stopped here on our trip to Lake George. It's one of the only Indian cuisines in the area. The service was a bit lacking as you have to order at the counter and seat yourself. This is a very big restaurant, but it doesn't have many customers. We paid before eating, but the employees asked us multiple times if we already paid. The food itself tasted authentic, but wish there were more vegan options.

    Masala chai, chicken tenders?
    Sab R.

Worst desi restaurant I have ever seen in my life i can just give them a zero. We order two masala chai and chicken tenders and this is what we got. Tea was $4 it was so disgusting and that how they just gave us five pieces chicken nuggets instead of chicken tenders. This is a halal Pakistani, indian and Bangladeshi restaurant yet its the worse restaurant I have ever been to. Please stop using Bangladeshi name when u cant even provide good service. The owner was not friendly, bathroom was dirty, spider houses everywhere. No wonder there wasn't anyone. I wont recommend anyone to go there especially u r hungry and looking for a nice halal place to eat.

    Vegetable Korma and Shrimp Masala

I stopped in for dinner at Tandoori Grill in Lake George recently. Since it was off-season, the place was very quiet and I was the only customer in the dining room for most of my dinner time here. I had an BOGO Free Entertainment Book coupon (up to $13 value) to use here, which I presented upon ordering and they honored it. For dinner I ordered the Shrimp Masala ($15.99) and Vegetable Korma ($12.99), both serve with rice and fresh baked naan. I was asked on a scale from 1 to 10 on how spicy I wanted my food. I was given a full pitcher of water (not cold) and a glass. The food took about 25 minutes to be served to my table, as I was checking social media on my phone to pass the time. The food was serve nice and hot. The shrimp masala had very small shrimp with the tails still attached, so I had to pull off the shell tail off each shrimp making a small mess. This dish was okay The vegetable korma had good flavors and the vegetables cooked soft. The rice was good, and the hot naan was good as well. While I was eating, a family of four with two boys arrived and were seated behind me. The kids and the parents had a small heated discussion on what to order between the chicken biryani and the paneer dishes. The kids sounded like they know their Indian food. I finished all of my food, then requested the check. The total before tax and discount was $27.98 for two dinners. They took off $13 off of the check including the taxable portion of the $13, making the new pretax total $14.98. However, they added an 8% meals tax ($1.20), which should be a 7% meals tax ($1.05) in Warren County and they also tacked on a 3.99% Customer Service Charge ($0.60)???? Anyways, I based my tip on a rounded up $30 dinner value and included the service charge as part of the tip.

I can here for an early dinner with my mom and grandma. They had been here before and wanted me to try it. We ordered several appetizers and one entree and it was more than enough food for us. We kept a menu just in case we were hungry. We got vegetarian samosas, pakoras, cheese naan, and a the chickpea salad - Chana chat (mb). For an entree we got palak paneer. Everything was tasty. The highlights were the pakoras and the cheese naan. I bet the garlic naan is good. I'll try that next time. Entrees are served with plain naan and rice. When we arrived there was only one other table. Then we were alone for the rest of our meal. Prices are decent and serving sizes are good. I wish they had more business. The service was fine and the staff were friendly. Suggestion - get rid of the styrofoam takeout containers and replace them with something better for the environment. I can't believe styrofoam is still allowed, so many cities and towns have banned it.

    Chicken Karahi
    Anisah C.

Ambiance: I really think this place could use a lot of work. The restaurant isn't in great shape or up to date. Service: the service was decent however I feel as if they could have been a little more friendly. Food: we had ordered naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka, and chicken karahi. I would give the food 4.5/5. The chicken tikka was flavorful and the chicken karahi was top notch. The butter chicken was okay. I feel as if it could have had more spice and more flavor. The naans were good, but also not the best I've ever had.

They're fine. I suppose you could take kids here. You order at the counter, pay first, and then go find a place to sit. In about 15-20 minutes they bring your food to the table. The drinks (Gatorade, iced tea) are in a cooler next to the register. They ask for the tip before they bring your food, and no one checks on you to see if you need anything or if you liked it. It's fine though. Just fine. You can leave your plate on the table when you leave. It's like a takeout place but they let you eat it inside if you're so inclined. The rice tasted and had the consistency of clumpy Uncle Ben's 90-second bag rice. It's fine. Just fine. The chicken in the butter chicken dinner was over cooked and dry, but not bad. The sauce was delicious but the rest of the dish..... meh. It's fine. Just fine. It's not expensive: $12-16 for a dish of food. Here's the deal: go here. I would order this dish again even though the menu has many enticing items. The Lamb Curry included a tasty, flavorful white rice that complemented the curry well. The owner included extra sauces including a Mint-Yogurt one that was delicious. I should have ordered one of the many varieties of Naan, and next time I will. Check out their menu. The owner greeted you with a smile. Two others prepared the food. While another customer (Gyros) and I waited for our orders at 11:30 am (I arrived early), the owner served us a sample of their Kheer after asking us if we had a milk allergy. This traditional Indian Rice dessert was far superior in flavor and texture to what I have eaten at other local restaurants that serve it. (Kheer is a creamy, traditional dessert made by simmering rice with whole milk, sugar, and aromatics like cardamom and saffron.) The owner even included a complimentary serving of Kheer with my order. Nice! They thank you for your order when you leave. The restaurant was pristine including the recently washed windows. Normally I pass on rice except as a vehicle for sauce, but I finished this. The sauce had a reasonably deep red color and an enjoyable spicy flavor, maybe a little less tomato flavor than I've had elsewhere, but still quite good. Naan, wrapped in foil, is fresh and hot, but not necessarily crisp. Flavored naans will have the flavors as a stuffing. My mango lassi was excellent - I almost wanted to steal a larger milkshake cup from nearby Herbie's and ask for that to be filled up instead. All in all, if you are looking for an Indian meal while at Galleria 7, you will be very satisfied here.
