This is their Chicken Tikka Masala. It was very good. Of course I took this photo after I ate so the presentation is not so good.

Food here was excellent, as good as any Indian restaurant at home. I had Chicken Tikka Masala and my husband had Briyani. You go to main desk and order the food which not a big deal. Ignore any negative reviews, this place has excellent food and I would definitely come back. Sad to me people judge a restaurant by "no liquor ".

Stopped here on our trip to Lake George. It's one of the only Indian cuisines in the area. The service was a bit lacking as you have to order at the counter and seat yourself. This is a very big restaurant, but it doesn't have many customers. We paid before eating, but the employees asked us multiple times if we already paid. The food itself tasted authentic, but wish there were more vegan options.

    Masala chai, chicken tenders?
    Sab R.

Worst desi restaurant I have ever seen in my life i can just give them a zero. We order two masala chai and chicken tenders and this is what we got. Tea was $4 it was so disgusting and that how they just gave us five pieces chicken nuggets instead of chicken tenders. This is a halal Pakistani, indian and Bangladeshi restaurant yet its the worse restaurant I have ever been to. Please stop using Bangladeshi name when u cant even provide good service. The owner was not friendly, bathroom was dirty, spider houses everywhere. No wonder there wasn't anyone. I wont recommend anyone to go there especially u r hungry and looking for a nice halal place to eat.

    Vegetable Korma and Shrimp Masala
    Ian W.

I stopped in for dinner at Tandoori Grill in Lake George recently. Since it was off-season, the place was very quiet and I was the only customer in the dining room for most of my dinner time here. I had an BOGO Free Entertainment Book coupon (up to $13 value) to use here, which I presented upon ordering and they honored it. For dinner I ordered the Shrimp Masala ($15.99) and Vegetable Korma ($12.99), both serve with rice and fresh baked naan. I was asked on a scale from 1 to 10 on how spicy I wanted my food. I was given a full pitcher of water (not cold) and a glass. The food took about 25 minutes to be served to my table, as I was checking social media on my phone to pass the time. The food was serve nice and hot. The shrimp masala had very small shrimp with the tails still attached, so I had to pull off the shell tail off each shrimp making a small mess. This dish was okay The vegetable korma had good flavors and the vegetables cooked soft. The rice was good, and the hot naan was good as well. While I was eating, a family of four with two boys arrived and were seated behind me. The kids and the parents had a small heated discussion on what to order between the chicken biryani and the paneer dishes. The kids sounded like they know their Indian food. I finished all of my food, then requested the check. The total before tax and discount was $27.98 for two dinners. They took off $13 off of the check including the taxable portion of the $13, making the new pretax total $14.98. However, they added an 8% meals tax ($1.20), which should be a 7% meals tax ($1.05) in Warren County and they also tacked on a 3.99% Customer Service Charge ($0.60)???? Anyways, I based my tip on a rounded up $30 dinner value and included the service charge as part of the tip.

I can here for an early dinner with my mom and grandma. They had been here before and wanted me to try it. We ordered several appetizers and one entree and it was more than enough food for us. We kept a menu just in case we were hungry. We got vegetarian samosas, pakoras, cheese naan, and a the chickpea salad - Chana chat (mb). For an entree we got palak paneer. Everything was tasty. The highlights were the pakoras and the cheese naan. I bet the garlic naan is good. I'll try that next time. Entrees are served with plain naan and rice. When we arrived there was only one other table. Then we were alone for the rest of our meal. Prices are decent and serving sizes are good. I wish they had more business. The service was fine and the staff were friendly. Suggestion - get rid of the styrofoam takeout containers and replace them with something better for the environment. I can't believe styrofoam is still allowed, so many cities and towns have banned it.

    Chicken Karahi

Ambiance: I really think this place could use a lot of work. The restaurant isn't in great shape or up to date. Service: the service was decent however I feel as if they could have been a little more friendly. Food: we had ordered naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka, and chicken karahi. I would give the food 4.5/5. The chicken tikka was flavorful and the chicken karahi was top notch. The butter chicken was okay. I feel as if it could have had more spice and more flavor. The naans were good, but also not the best I've ever had.

Tasteless food, inadequate staff management and more so of a sight seeing place rather then a food establishment. Bad bad bad.

Lovely restaurant, very attentive waiters and everyone was extremely helpful. When they say hot,…read morethey DO mean "hot" as in Indian hot, not American hot. Forewarned is forearmed! The shrimp dish we had was excellent. Vegetable biryani had a nice mix of vegetables and rice - and if you judge an Indian restaurant in part by its rice, theirs is outstanding. We shared two lamb dishes and were disappointed in one. We'd hoped the lamb would be "falling apart", so soft it would melt in the mouth. Unfortunately, the small lamb pieces in the rogan josh were pretty chewy and somewhat unpleasant. The lamb kebabs however were nice and almost sweet, and we'd order them again. The dosa was marvelous and the chapati tasted fresh. The lassis are extremely sweet. Extremely. They can't be made less sweet, because they're made from a mix -- so if you're looking for authentic lassi, with fruit, yogurt, cardamom, etc, this is not your place. That was very disappointing since part of the restaurant's claim to fame is its authenticity. Our real quibble was when we were trying to decide on an extra appetizer, someone (perhaps the manager?) came over and asked about what we wanted. We asked about a few things and he said "Let me bring you something to taste - if you don't like it you don't have to pay for it." It was very large for an appetizer, and we each had a bite, but left most of it. Nevertheless, we were charged for it. Perhaps we needed to say "We didn't like it" but it was good - it was just much more expensive than we'd have chosen for an extra appetizer. The garlic naan by the way was good but a bit greasy. Still, good!

The butter chicken was absolutely amazing...so aromatic, flavorful, and one of the best I've had. It is a bit more expensive and the portions are smaller than some of the other Indian restaurants in the Albany area, but the quality, atmosphere, and service make it well worth it for a special meal or an occasional treat.

I find the seasonings used here to be pleasantly well done- it is never bland/lacking in flavor and it is also (when spicy) never overwhelming/too hot to enjoy. We're very fond of Indian buffets so have been looking in this area for a while; this is the best we've found so far. Attentive servers bring water and clear plates regularly. I found this place on Google which turned out to be such a hit. We tried calling in our order multiple times but always got a busy signal so we placed our order through Seamless and it was ready for pick up in 25 minutes. The portions here are large and the food is delicious! The chicken/gyro and rice platters are similar to NYC halal platters with large chunks of meat. The "crispy cheesy naan" is more like crispy cheesy paratha (flaky flatbread) which was yummy. The pita is also thick and fluffy! My group also loved the salads and falafel.
