Tried a new to me Pakistani Halal restaurant since I was in Clifton Park. I liked the menu & reviews, and It was located in small strip of businesses on Guideboard Road near the Halfmoon Diner and Sorrentinos Deli. It was easy to place an online order. It is an open Kitchen mostly takeout place with several booths/tables for dine in, if wanted. Ordered for pickup: Chicken Bihari Boti, six pieces Lamb Curry with Rice The chicken was very tender and delicious. A small salad was included. I would order this dish again even though the menu has many enticing items. The Lamb Curry included a tasty, flavorful white rice that complemented the curry well. The owner included extra sauces including a Mint-Yogurt one that was delicious. I should have ordered one of the many varieties of Naan, and next time I will. Check out their menu. The owner greeted you with a smile. Two others prepared the food. While another customer (Gyros) and I waited for our orders at 11:30 am (I arrived early), the owner served us a sample of their Kheer after asking us if we had a milk allergy. This traditional Indian Rice dessert was far superior in flavor and texture to what I have eaten at other local restaurants that serve it. (Kheer is a creamy, traditional dessert made by simmering rice with whole milk, sugar, and aromatics like cardamom and saffron.) The owner even included a complimentary serving of Kheer with my order. Nice! They thank you for your order when you leave. The restaurant was pristine including the recently washed windows. Delicious food in an unassuming strip mall in Clifton Park. I met a friend here on a weekend night and they had four huge booths. We were the only ones dining in, which we didn't mind at all. We ordered at the counter and they brought the food to our table. We chose to share the Shrimp Curry, Chicken Tandoori, hummus and garlic naan. They brought the hummus out first, which came in a plastic container with a lid. It looked really liquidy but after stiring it with a spoon, it thickened up. The flavor was fantastic! The pita they served with it was warm too. They brought all of the entrees out together and a few minutes later, one of the employees came by with the Haleem Chicken, which he said was a new menu item that he wanted us to try on the house. It was stewed chicken with lentils and spices. Everything was absolutely delicious and had such great flavor. We couldn't pick a favorite. They served the dishes with their hot sauce and a yogurt sauce. Both were delicious too. Overall, while it seems most people pick up take out, dining in was a nice experience too. This is Kebab House and it's run by lovely and friendly owners. We both ordered chicken over rice and it was such a large portion for only $12-13. I always compare out of state prices to California prices, so this was a great deal. The flavor was great and the chicken and rice were incredibly soft. They seem to make their house made white and hot sauces and it made it even more fire. The samosas were great, though I wish they had chutney sauce! Highly recommend if in the area! read more

Thought to try this new restaurant to me. Small little shop, quaint and clean. Ordered the vegetable samosa for appetizer, wonderful flavor profile , definitely with a kick. It was toned down with the yogurt sauces - one with cilantro, the other with cucumber. I ordered the Tikka Masala, excellent combination of herbs with a slight kick in the sauce, chicken soft and tender, side of basmati rice rounded out my order. Meals were generous- enough for two. Tried this place out for the first time w my 5 yo son. The staff was friendly and helped us pick out some new things to try. The portions were generous, fairly priced, the hummus and pita were delicious. Chicken or rice was very tasty, chicken kabab was a tad spicy but still good. We will be regulars. read more

Everything is delicious and the portion sizes are out of control. Everything is fresh and you can tell it's made to order with the attention to detail. That Cheese Naan is KILLER!! what a find! while we waited for our Gyro, we were presented with a most delicious chaat to sample. It was sweet, savory and crunchy in perfect balance. it made us wish that we had ordered a curry! I read the reviews and was excited for a good kebab. Ordered the beef kebob entre take-out for lunch. Sorry to say it was a complete disappointment. The beef was rather tough and unremarkable. Rice was bland. Naan was stale and went to the birds. Bag salad went in the composter. Sauces from a bottle. The entire meal tasted like it was leftover from the day before. Cafeteria grade. Addendum: Warmed up leftovers. It had somehow gotten even worse. A couple bites then into the trash. Apologies for insulting cafeterias. read more

It doesn't look like anything when you walk in and it looks like it maybe isn't clean, but we did see them wipe down tables and clear up things while we were there. I think that they do a lot of takeout business. But both my husband and my meal were absolutely delicious! Very authentic. If you can look past the "scene", you will really enjoy it! Was driving home when I saw this spot and was curious. I love kebab. I was not disappointed. The friendly staff gave me some suggestions and man were they right. I ordered a cheese Naan which was made to order fresh and delicious. The Mango Lassi superb and just the right accompaniment to my Chicken Tikka. The chicken Tikka was expertly cooked and tender. Piping hit off the grill. They have a dining room and are on all the delivery services. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. Freshest kebab I've had in awhile. This place is amazing! Get here now! Had the lamb and chicken kofta platter. The spices were perfect. Also ordered the best babaganoush I've ever had (and I am well traveled), then an order of grape leaves that were great. The sauces tzatziki and some kind of red hot sauce were, you guessed it, amazing. The pita was made to order as well. My mom got a lamb gyro, not typical from my experience, it seems more like a shawarma, but I'll be ordering that again as well. read more
