    Wow, what an incredible florist for our dream wedding! Velina completely understood our vision and executed it beautifully. We could tell she was thoughtful when selecting flowers to perfectly suit our whimsical wildflower theme. So many of our guests mentioned how much they loved the flowers. We are thrilled with how she brought our vision to life and helped make our special day one we will never forget. She has very fair pricing and was flexible when we wanted to make any changes.     We loved working with Taneva Events! Velina provided our florals and day-of coordination for our wedding at the Outdoor Art Club. She was recommended by another vendor, and we felt comfortable right from our first call with her. She brings a very pleasant combo of expertise and openness to ideas which was just what we were looking for. My spouse and I are both detail oriented and organized, so we felt comfortable taking on the planning aspects, but wanted help making sure everything went smoothly on the big day, and that the set up/break down didn't fall on our hands alone. We were originally thinking of providing our own florals, but eventually reality hit and we were spread too thin. It was fantastic to be able to reach back out and add florals to our package. We had strong opinions around several options for floral design, and Velina did a great job interpreting our ideas and bringing everything to life. She helped us select an easier/more affordable option for a few areas without losing any magic, and the bridal bouquet was such a big hit that it came along on our minimoon in a vase:) Considering florals/coordination were two items we had waffled with spending money on, we are SO glad we decided to hire Velina.     Taneva events did an amazing job setting up the flowers for our fall wedding. Velina understood our vision from the get go and worked so patiently with us. She also helped me get some eucalyptus for other arrangements. Overall, I am so happy we hired her. She really made it worry free. Highly recommend her! Something to note is that the wedding venue only gave her about an hour to set up and she did that no problem. Pretty impressive.

    Velina did the flowers and was my day of coordinator for my wedding. I cannot recommend her enough for both! First, flowers. She was incredibly mindful of my budget and advised on the best flowers to choose due to the season. She matched my inspiration photos perfectly. She can really make whatever vision you have come to life. As a coordinator, she had to deal with some opinionated personalities. She handled herself with such grace and had such a calm demeanor while still getting things done. Our entire wedding party kept saying how appreciative they were of her on the day of -- checking in, making sure we were comfortable, and dealing with all questions. I honestly have no idea if there were any hiccups with any other vendor or guests because she made our special day that seamless.     Velina is amazing! I found her because she was listed as a preferred vendor at the venue we were married at and she exceeded all my expectations! I originally hired Velina as the florist designer because her portfolio impressed me, but then I found out she also offered day of coordinating services so I hired her for that too! She was amazing! She came to my house a few days before to pick up all my items and review them with me. The day of she actually set up 2 weddings at the same venue, same start time, AND still managed to be right by my side at any given moment. Seriously you would think there was like 10 of her. Her pricing on all these services is incredibly fair and her talent is just amazing. She understood my vision immediately through concept images and was able to provide feedback and suggestions whenever I needed them! Definitely hire Velina for your wedding!

    Velina was recommended by my sister after being her day-of coordinator and florist for her wedding a few years ago. Since knowing Velina and seeing her work, I was convinced to have her for my own wedding just last month. We booked her over 9 months before the wedding and communication with her was always easy and detailed even during the early days of our planning. She suggested flowers and decorations that worked for our budget and was flexible when we had ideas/changes later on. A couple months before our wedding, she also met with our venue coordinator in Saratoga Springs. I cannot be more grateful for a have a day-of coordinator. Our reception went smoothly and even when we were behind schedule, she dealt it with grace. Looking back as a bride, I was not thinking of anything other than my husband and our guests and Velina and her assistant made that possible! Thank you Velina and team!     Velina was such a pleasure to work with for our wedding! She has a very relaxed presence (which was a pleasant change from other planners we had looked into/worked with). She was our day of coordinator and she did our flowers. I wanted pretty simple florals, and she did a beautiful job with little input needed from me (which was very nice with all that was on my plate!) Velina was so calm and flexible and was really willing to do whatever we needed in the weeks leading up to our wedding - including picking up tons of personal items and decorations to deliver on the day of! A huge stress relief. She ensured that our day went smoothly and we were really able to sit back and enjoy it. On top of all that, her prices are very reasonable and she is an amazing value.     We worked with Amazae from the moment we knew we wanted to get married (before we got engaged,…read moretechnically. Ha). Both of us are extremely busy re: our jobs and knew that we wouldn't be able to dedicate enough time to truly planning an event of this scale. If you're on the fence, go with Amazae. My husband, before we hired Amazae, was on the fence of whether or not we needed planning services. I told him that if we did not hire someone that there would be no wedding. By the time we had finished our venue search, he knew that I was totally right re: the amount of help you get by leveraging someone else's expertise. You do this once (hopefully) in your life. Amazae does this all the time. Amazae knew all the ins and outs of every venue that we could possibly think of in the Bay Area, Carmel, and Napa. They were able to tell us who was beer and wine only, who had a 10pm end time because of noise ordinances, and who required you to use certain caterers that were $x per head. This will save you SO much time and save you visits to random places that don't meet your requirements. Vendor sourcing - they are super good at this re: figuring out (or making you figure out what you like) who matches your style for every vendor, then finding one that fits in your budget. Most importantly, they will make sure everyone shows up (join any wedding FB group and read some horror stories). They will help you with all of the contracting and the collection of COIs, etc. Again, this would have been IMPOSSIBLE for myself and my now husband. We literally do not have the hours in the day to do this. This team is on top of everything - they will chase you down if they need to for answers for pieces of your event. They can make anything happen - from the weirdest requests to the most mundane. They are so professional, and they really make your wedding super personal. Amazae designed and executed a beautiful event from beginning to end that felt so authentic to us. Day of, they were there to take care of everything, and it was truly a flawless day. We could not asked for a better planner re: Crystal, Kaila, and the rest of the team. We put full trust in them re: the design of this event and the day of. Example: I honestly did not know what florals were going to be there, but they were so stunning. The strength of the Amazae team is in their ability to bring you and your personality into an event that is mostly structured a certain way. They also make your day as stress-free as possible. I cannot say enough positive things about this team and their ability to make your wedding great. If you're down to hand things off to someone else, I would say hand it off to them. It will be better than what you could have come up with yourself.

    Planning a wedding during a pandemic is hard, even a micro-wedding. You don't want to be cake…read moretasting or menu tasting, so you rely on experts. That's why we decided to hire an event planner for our daughter's wedding in January 2021. Even though it was a small backyard wedding, we wanted it to be memorable and elegant. We interviewed 3 different event planners, and got 3 rough quotes, all around the same ballpark. Amazae's quote, however, was the most detailed, breaking down a high & low range for each item (food, florals, rentals, photography, etc.) It was an easy choice to contract with them. Crystal came onsite for our first meeting, and I really didn't have a lot for her to go on. My daughter isn't the Pinterest type, so I just told Crystal the wedding colors and showed her pictures of the wedding gown and bridesmaid gowns. The rest of the planning was all done via zoom, emails, and a few phone calls. We worked mostly with Caitlin, who is an amazing planner. Each step along the way, she gave us several options to choose from. For example, she provided a list of 4 photographers, their quote for the day, their profile, their gallery, etc. Once all of our choices were made, she put together a design deck that gave us a preview of the entire wedding. It was more gorgeous than I envisioned. On the day of the wedding, Lisa came out to set everything up. She even picked up the florals and wedding cake to save us the delivery fees. It was a little hectic when I met her, and I probably spent 5 minutes with her showing her where everything was before we left for the church ceremony. And when we came back, she was driving off, leaving behind a magical transformation of yard. Everyone was stunned. The catering crew then took over and prepared a "Top Chef" level meal. And when they left, my kitchen was as clean as when they arrived. My husband commented, "Whatever we paid for this wedding, it was worth every penny." Haha. True.     My partner and I were looking for guidance and help in planning our wedding celebration. We were…read morerecommended Two Perfect Events by our venue, Mister Jiu's, given their prior collaboration and experience with them. We were kindly welcomed by Leah and introduced to our planner, Yoko, who was amazing, carefully guiding and making our vision a reality, accommodating our preferences and budget, and helping us with the design and layout of the big day with all of our vendors. She provided multiple vendor options, communicated closely with them and us throughout the bidding and hiring process, and ensured we were all on the same page from planning through the walkthrough and up to the day of the event. One of the greatest things about this process was the clear, concise communication and organization that made planning, payments, and decision-making understandable, step by step, rather than a labyrinth of crossed wires and deadlines.  The day of our wedding was as effortless as could be. It was great to have the team from Two Perfect Events, along with Yoko and Leo, there to assist with setting up and taking down decorations and rentals, help guide guests, event staff, and our vendors, and ensure everything, including our deliveries and rentals, went according to plan. We also appreciated that our planners kept an eye on both of us the entire night to ensure we were doing well and enjoying the festivities, getting our food, making sure we were at the right place at the right time, and saving any items for our personal requests. We did not expect that Two Perfect Events would take behind-the-scenes photos and videos of the entire day and the in-person walkthroughs, which gave us a chance to reminisce on the process and quickly provide a glimpse of our families and friends outside the eyes of our wonderful wedding photographers.  We appreciated that our vendors were all in sync, and the coordinators ensured our entire process minimized the stress of planning, which was what we had hoped for all along. They provided us with good advice on choosing vendors, insurance for our wedding, and what to expect when working with multiple parties. It was evident that Two Perfect Events had considered multiple contingencies and scenarios in which snafus or unexpected issues may arise throughout the process, and we were glad that Yoko was always prepared for them, including giving us enough buffer time due to traffic delays so our guests could arrive on the big day.  Everyone complimented us on the evening, and it went by so smoothly. They commented that this was the least stressful and most fun wedding they've been to in a long time, which conveyed the vibe we were going for. We wanted it to be a fun yet intimate evening where everyone enjoyed getting together to celebrate, and we were delighted to celebrate that day with them. Jessica: Jessica was our main point of contact throughout the planning process, and she was truly amazing. Whether we had questions or requests for the decorators, MC, DJ, day-of coordinator, photographers, videographers, or HMUA, she was always there to help. She was patient, kind, incredibly organized, and never made me feel like my questions were too much. Our Service Instruction worksheet was so detailed that every vendor knew exactly what to expect, which made the entire day run seamlessly. Decoration Team: The décor for both our ceremony and reception was absolutely stunning. Just two weeks before the wedding, I made a major change to our reception backdrop, and the team worked hard to bring my new vision to life. Jessica even arranged for me to see digital mockups after we discussed how important they were to me. Because of that, I was able to completely refresh the design from the inspiration I had shared over a year earlier. My advice: be as specific as possible about what you like and don't like--it really helps the decorators create your vision. Everything was executed beautifully. MC Eric: Eric was phenomenal! We specifically wanted a bilingual English/Vietnamese MC, and he exceeded every expectation. Even our hard-to-impress Vietnamese aunties and uncles couldn't stop complimenting him. He was charismatic, organized, and handled last-minute changes effortlessly. We had to adjust our timeline during the reception, including pausing photos and adding speeches, and he kept everything flowing naturally without awkward downtime. He also perfectly coordinated our unique sequence of dances with the DJ, making every transition feel seamless. DJ Otis: We didn't know who our DJ would be until the wedding day, and we were thrilled it was Otis! He absolutely nailed the music all night. The dance floor stayed packed until 11 PM because he knew exactly how to read the crowd. He mixed current hits with 70s-90s favorites that kept both younger guests and the older Vietnamese crowd dancing. The glow sticks and light-up glasses were a huge hit, and the energy never dropped. Day-of Coordinator Carina: Carina was incredible. She was warm, personable, and unbelievably organized. I thought my planning documents were detailed, but hers were even more thorough! She made me feel completely at ease leading up to the wedding and even drove to Pleasanton to run our rehearsal (an add-on that was absolutely worth it). Multiple vendors and family members commented on how efficient and organized she was. Photography & Videography: Our package included an engagement shoot plus two photographers and two videographers. Sam photographed both our engagement session and wedding, and his work was beautiful. We chose his light and airy editing style, and our engagement photos turned out amazing. On the wedding day, Sam and Christine were fantastic. They captured every moment while making us feel comfortable. One thing I'll never forget was how Sam noticed we hadn't had a moment to ourselves because of nonstop photos. He quietly pulled us away under the guise of a private reception reveal so we could enjoy a few peaceful minutes together. It was such a thoughtful gesture. It was easy to schedule a free consultation,…read morewhere we first spoke with Otis, and could ask many questions up front before deciding to move forward. Otis was kind with great attention to detail from the start. Ultimately, we decided with the glam package and our contract was very clear to understand with cost breakdown for removal of specific services / add-ons. I updated it many times with Jessica, our planner, as we made changes throughout the months, and she was always so patient and clear. Our MC Otis did a wonderful job with maintaining flow of the program. Otis was also working as DJ for a good portion of the evening, so props to him! We had closer to an hour compared to 1.5 hours of open dancing because we were behind schedule, but everybody was on the dance floor and he kept the party going seamlessly. Weddings are hectic and there are so many moving parts; we did get behind schedule but we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. Our photo & video services were set to end, but Otis was very professional in discussing with us if we wanted to extend our video services, communicative on additional cost, at the moment. Our photographer, Ben, along with the team Stanford and videographer, Christina, were so fun to work with. Ben was great at providing direction, which is especially helpful since we were not used to posing. I have not received photo & video yet as it has only been a week, but from an experience standpoint, they were attentive to detail, communicative, and glided effortlessly through the event. My makeup artist, Vivi, is the sweetest person. She was super attentive to detail and my particular skin type. I was worried about makeup because I don't wear heavy makeup often. I ended up paying for a make-up trial, and I was so happy working with Vivi that I had no worries for the wedding day. We also added-on make up for our mothers, which Vivi did the morning of. The reception decor turned out so pretty! Everything was set-up as scheduled. I was really happy with the welcome backdrop and name sign. It was also great to take pictures with guests with the backdrop since we had time during cocktail hour. We asked TDE to incorporate a large screen as the backdrop of our sweetheart table, so we found an example from a previous wedding they did, and it turned out exactly as expected. We added the photo-booth, which was so popular with the guests! There were so many cool props and our guests were having tons of fun with it. I also sent TDE a custom drawing that I wanted for the photo strips- and it turned out just like I imagined. We chose Grand Dynasty as our reception venue, and TDE communicated set-up details with our restaurant event manager, Esmond, in the days leading up to the event. I highly recommend TDE and the team that we worked with! Thank you for making it an unforgettable experience.

The price was reasonable for his time and the delivery of all digital images (no nickle and dime'ing). Deposit and contract signing were easily completed online. For the next several weeks until the photo session, Kenneth responded amiably to my planning questions and was helpful in advising what might work better. He took the initiative to reach-out as the date approached. On the day-of, he arrived punctually and listened to my requests. He was unintrusive at the party and made people feel comfortable having their pictures taken. He took time to wish my father a happy birthday, which I thought was a lovely gesture. The photo results started rolling-in the very next morning. I was very happy with the results. The photo journal of what happened at the party was more perfect than what I had even expected. The gallery website was very easy to use. I had the full delivery just 1.5 days later. She was gentle and sweet when we needed it, and she was tough (but still nice) when we needed to make a decision. Prices are very reasonable and in my opinion worth every penny!! On our wedding day she set up all our decor and flowers! She even brought us our dinner and made sure we were taken care of the whole night. At the end of the night she gave me our car keys and it was loaded with all of our stuff.
