She is extremely responsive, organized, well connected with other vendors, thoughtful, detailed, all with a very calm demeanor. We met over the phone with her several times before the wedding date and met in person at the venue to review the plans. While I had initially selected Velina for a 'day-of' coordinator, it became evident that we needed her for her other services. Velina was an absolute life saver for my husband and me. We had thought we could do the whole planning thing without a planner, and were about to collapse from stress and exhaustion by the time we were about a month away. So, we hired Velina, who took so much weight off of our shoulders. She coordinated between all of our many vendors, showed up extra early to work with our challenging florist to make sure the flower arrangements and chuppah were set up correctly, and even brought in two sturdy chairs from her family that we used for the Horah since our venue didn't have any suitable ones. I hired the company based on online reviews and the responsiveness of Velina's proposal to do "day of event" wedding coordination services for our daughter's wedding at the UCSC Cowell Hay Barn in Santa Cruz. Velina exceeded our expectations in every respect. She never missed an email and was totally on board with our vision of how the wedding would look and feel to all of our guests and the wedding party.
